First off, I want to thank the MAAM team for their gracoius donation of a copy of BT to the flightsim.com monthly drawingcontest.I went to fs.com and discovered that I HAD FINALLY WON SOMETHING! (only took me 1 year) and I had won a copy of BT! I was wondering if this is the CD or DL version. (I only ask because mail theft is a big deal in my area and i need to know if I should have someone get the mail when it arrives, since im not home then.)Thanks,David Swindle

It's finished !!! :-eekTook me a while but now I've found the time to paint again. This time it's "Lady Luck" from the 340th Bombardment Group (Medium),489th Bombardment Squadron. This is the same Squadron, Briefing Time flew in.Lady Luck was original a natural-metal plane ,but was modified by the addition of Olive Drab paint on upper surfaces and sides. Most planes in the 340th BG were painted this way. I will upload it tomorrow.Rattlehttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/31603.jpg http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/31604.jpg http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/31605.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/31606.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/31607.jpg

I just bought FS2004 and it looks pretty good. Sounds for the DC3 are terrific so you have your work cut out boys to do better. After five long years of flying the R4D I am going to start my own cockpit. My last purchase from you was the B-25 which I just love but guaranteed I will love your Sept release even better (I hope ??). I have started collecting all the items needed for my pit. Original pilot and co-pilot seats for a C-47 I have had for many years which I have lovingly restored and have used as office chairs latterly, the pilots overhead (semi-circular) c/w all switches and four pedals. Yokes I have (albeit from a DC6) but the columns are going to be pain as are …

Well ,I installed the B25 into fs2004 ,no problems with that, but I noticed a few problems. The elevator trim is extremley sensitive even with the repeat slider bottomed out ,there seems to be no happy medium in trimming.Acceleration is extremly rapid from takeoff(maybe the reduced ground friction in fs2004)but also climbout is very rapid(had to bring the map down to 25" @ 2400 rpm and still was climbing at 2000fpm at nearly 200mph(yes I use Indicated airspeed) with a half fuel load. With fs2002 I would climbout at 35"@ 2400rpm ,1000fpm at around 170mph.One other thing, it seems when on the approach even with full flaps I am having a more nose up attitude than in fs2002.A…

"Heavenly Body" was the first B-25 in fifty years to fly from the deck of an aircraft carrier, the U.S.S. Ranger in San Diego Bay. That event was to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of then, Lt. Col. James Doolittle's, flight of sixteen B-25 aircraft from the navy carrier, U.S.S. Hornet (CV-8), on April 18, 1942 to bomb Japan in retaliation for that country's attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/30988.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/30889.jpgAny policy against uploading repaints? I'd love to share this when it is completed.Luhiss

Does anyone know how MAAM made the R4d so that we can taxi and turn it with a two axis joystick and autocoordination on? The planes in FS2004 will not turn with this configuration. I'd sure like to modify the FS2004 taildragger planes like the R4D. Thanks, Bob.

I am anxiously awaiting the release of the NATS R4D-6 version in Sep for FS 2004. However, until then I have loaded the FS 2002 version in FS 2004. It works fine, except, I can't get the exterior lights to come on, I can't get the exterior door to close and the chocks, display sign to disappear in the chase view. Any solution to this or will I have to wait until the new version. Any help would be appreciated. Brad Storm

In full screen cockpit view (in other words, without the panels on the main out the window view) my default viewpoint is about 10-20 degrees down from horizontal. Is this correct, or have I somehow adjusted something incorrectly? This is in both FS2002 and 2004. It just, from all the pics that I've seen, doesn't seem right. Any Ideas? I don't want to change it if that is the correct eyepoint for the B-25, but I can't see how it is. I love the damn thing, otherwise.--jeff

Hi all, I have the FS2002 BT-25 dual-CD package purchased directly from MAAM. I am wondering if a separate update will be available for FS2004? If so how do I get or purchase a copy?Regards

Sir,Upgraded to FS2004 but Maam B-25 not only doesnt work, but also crashes the game and must exit. Now we know some add-ons like Dreamfleet 737 dont work with Fs2004 yet, although all the other Dreamfleet aircraft addons work fine, but no addon crashes like Maam B-25 forcing you to brutally abort Fs2004.Please advise soon which are the dangerous files causing this and I hope a Fs2004 compatible fix will be available soon.sascha

Hello MAAM folks, I have a question on the R4D CDROM install. Why can I not use the same key for an install on the same machine that I originally installed the lovely R4D? Nothing has changed as far as hardware or software. I re-installed FS2002 due to the fact I had over 7,000 gauges in my GAUGES folder, most of which I never used any longer. I would think the KEY, originally received from you folks, would be effective for an identical install on the same hardware/software machine. It would be great if the R4D installed like the MAAM BT-25. In either case, frustrated or not, these two aircraft are simply charms.Regards

Hi Bill, I re-installed my(our) lovely R4D-6 in FS2002 and enjoying the flights but I do have one question to ask. Why is the R4D-6 located in the UNSPECIFIED spot when I try to load it? I thought it would/should be located under DOUGLAS. I suspect I have something wrong in one of my R4D-6 CFG files but I thought I'd ask you before changing any of the files. Thanks

So far I have had very little success in finding civilian (or other) repaints of the R4D for FS 2002. There are plenty of them available for FS2000 though. I am retired USAF and not too keen on being seen in a Navy aircraft :-eek :-bigangel

The GMax R4D, the plane that never got released but still gets updated...i believe a first in the history of FS...:+ Hi folks,Here are a couple screenies of the work at hand on the GMax R4D visual model upgrade. To celebrate the long overdue release ( coming September), and take along the Century Of Flight celebrations on the side ( afterall she WILL be FS9COF compatible! ), i have taken the ol' polish cloth to lively up 819's skin so she can take part in the festivities shining proudly. Apart from all the commonly known GMax features including reflective textures also specular highlighting/dynamic shine has been added.Mind you, this is a preview of work in progress, chec…
