Could someone explain to me the conditions in which I would need to feather the props? I understand the machanics of feathering, however I do not have a grasp on the physics, therefore I do not understand the conditions for feathering. Thanks

I was wondering if it would be possible/allowed to replace the face of the BT pilot by other faces? And if so, does anyone know how it can be done? Would be nice to stick my own or my wife's face to this pilot.

For those of you with a particularly strong stomach, or a masochistic streak, have a look at the interview of someone, who shall remain nameless, on the latest episode of FSTV. ;-) It was uploaded to the AVSIM Library on Christmas day, but broadband users can watch it in a much larger, clearer format by going to www.airsideTV.comActually, I'm quite pleased with the interview and want to thank Ian Gerada for his gentlemanly treatment (no Sam Donaldson, he) and FSTV's continued support.Bill Rambow aka "he who shall remain nameless" MAAM-SIM - Rambow, Visser, Banting, Young, Womack, and Hamblyhttp://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/maamsim_logo.gif

Hi, I'm waiting for my BT cd to arrive and have started to do some flight planning for my next project.Could someone who have tried the BT model please answer the following questions?: (I'm using FS9, BTW)- What is the 'normal' range (with safety fuel reserves) ?- What is the maximum range?- What is the cruising speed?I was planning to fly around the world in the B-25 and would like to know how long that would take... :-) I'm a FS novice, so I thought this would be a great way to learn more about FS and the B-25. Will have to spend a few months planning, though. Thanks in advance!-Timian

Wow! That's all there is to say. Got the scenery and loaded it up (piece of cake) and fired up BT and took her for a spin. At first I thought there may be a problem in the scenery because for the first five attempts to fly/taxi around the area the computer locked up every time. However I got a error message saying the ATI graphics was the possible cause of the lockup. I downloaded the latest drivers from the ATI site and SO FAR all seems to be fine. No problems... The hanger doors blew my mind... What a great touch...lol I now have BT parked inside... Forgot to check out the new startup smoke etc.. I do however now live in the country with no neighbors and I ha…

Happy Holidays All...Sorry, I just cant seem to find anything new via search... maybe I dont know how to use it properly?Last I remember, it was suggested that the R4D would be re-released again soon, any updates or posts that someone can enlighten me with?It just so happens that the DC-3 C-47 is one of my favorite sim aircraft, and its not like any purchase is on hold... Reality is I have made several donations to MAAM and other flying museums, and will continue to do so in the future..Please... please .... none of the berating stuff.. I am way too old for that... I am very supportive, and am not a whiner!I dont hassle design teams about release dates, nor do I complain …

I am running FS2K2 with CH USB flight yoke and rudder peddles. My problem: Keyboard commands don't work with BT 2K2 ,or, the Skyhawk in 2K2. (I am trying to set the autopilot) Anyone experiencing similar problems?, or have any suggestions? Is this inherent with CH products? FS 2K2?, or what, as I rarely use the keyboard commands I am somewhat lost.

I've recently installed the BT-FS9 upgrade, but am experiencing the following problems:The original green BT livery now is just a matte gray, with no lettering. All panel views, except the main pilot's side 2D and the VC, appear on a black background (not allowing the main panel to show through).ATC, co-pilot callout, flap and gear sounds seem OK, but engine sounds are missing. No tire smoke is visible on landing.Any suggestions?

After visiting the museum during the Avsim Conf, I noticed you have alot of great aircraft on display. I was wondering if you plan on doing more of them? Personally I'd like to see the Neptune, love that prop/jet combo.

Just wondering what method you all use for landing. In the VC, I can't get a good view over the nose to see the runway. Thus, I have to come in high and make a steep approach. I tried changing the eyepoint and view forward direction, but the default settings seem to be the best. Using shift-enter a couple of times helps except you have to keep doing it everytime you change the view. The 2d panel is fine, it is just the VC that I can't get right. Thanks,John Woodward

You have a typo in your press release about the skin has a typo. It is listed as the 489th ranter then 498th Falcons of the 345th. I showed Briefing Time to the reunion of the 498th and they were amazed. I even put the website in the newsletter. One more small thing. Everything looks great but if accuracy is paramount you need to put white wing tips on skin for the 498th Air Apaches.Keep up the great work!
