Hi guys, I just have a little question on the sound that comes with BT. At high rpm's, is it supposed to have this kind of repeating buzzing sound? Its very distinctive, and a little annoying. Maybe I have my computer set up incorretly........?Thanks!

In cockpit mode, when I reduce power or RPM'S from max I don't get any change in engine sound until about 2000 rpm. Is this normal? I do get the changes in other aircraft, as R4D 6 and PHDDZ.Also no tire squeal upon touchdown. The tire noise is there in the other two. I followed the instructions for the SOUNDS folder carefully and twice. I do get the touchdown bump noise and also the rolling noise on the runway. I can live without either, but "As real as it gets". Well troops, the wagon train is loaded (the motorhome and Mustang) and we'll be pulling out for Reading in less than three hours for the big World War II Weekend show at MAAM. The weather forecast is less than stellar, but we are anticipating a great show, never-the-less. I'll be off-line until Monday June 9 in the P.M., but the less fortunate team members will attend to things here.Come on over, up, or down to Reading this weekend, June 6-9, and see us in the museum hangar where MAAM-SIM will be set up right next to the Tuskeegee Airmen. We'll be the ones competing with the engine noise from the flightline. ;-) Three PC's will be running to allow people to try (and ho…

Hi, I have just switched BT over to my new computer and now I can get the window to close. I have assigned the wing fold to a key and I get nothing. As an experiment I tried one of the Mel Jet triple 7's and the wings folded no problem. It's getting a little cold to fly at altitude so help would be appreciated. :)ThanksAndrew

Dear all,I am not sure if there is any thread covered this matter. Recently I download the donationware R4D and install as suggested. I have the problem when I tried to switch between Captain and FO panel. It will cause the FS2002 to shutdown. The file that cause the problem is FS2002.exe itself which is very strange. How could I get it to work properly? Any particular setting required in FS2002?Thank you in advance.Sincerely yours,

Gentlemen:I just received my Briefing Time CD in the mail and installed it right away. I knew from this forum and the reviews I've read that I was in for a treat, but nothing prepared me for the virtual cockpit and cabin! This is the finest VC modelling work I've ever seen in FS2002. It's easily comparable, and perhaps better than, the cockpits in IL2. It's the first FS2k2 VC that looks right when you switch to it. All the others I've ever used require position and zoom adjustments, but this one just works. It's also clear enough to fly without the aid of the 2D panel except when accessing mouse click points. Fantastic! My first flight was a real joy and I'm looking forwar…

Dear Bill, Jan, Trev, or other R4D gurus: Well, it has been a long winter in the wilds of Traverse City, perfect for some twin engine winter flying. "Briefing Time" has been a delight. Many thanks to all who contributed to her. With way too much time on my hands during the cold weather, a little gremlin in my head started whispering that it was time to build a home cockpit. Mot just any home cockpit, mind you, but a R4D, complete with "steam" gauges, custom built yokes, etc. Yes, I hear you laughing. But when the simulated sky calls, where would you rather sit to hear those P+Ws, other than in a real one? Besides, since I cannot go to Kitty Hawk, why n…

Greetings, all!One of the many things that is so fashinating about the both R4D and the Briefing Time, is how one discovers, one after another, all these fantastic small details! Here is one of them, that has eluded me until now:http://forums.avsim.com/user_files/11134.jpgYou will find it on the outer section of the right wing. It looks like some sort of green rod, attached to the leading edge of the wing. Could someone please enlighten me what it is? It somewhat looks like a harpoon for birds and/or high altitude flying fish hunting? :D Regards,-- Stefan

First of all, fantastic job on this aircraft! This is a dream come true to have one of my favorite WWII twins in FS, and done so spectacularly. Now to my question: I've deleted the cockpit view bitmaps and want to just be able to see the virtual cockpit when going to 3/4 and side views in 2D. I wind up with my view point at about tire height, then when I try to adjust, the vc view is about 10 feet above the airplane. Anyone else tried this? Thanks,Todd

After having flown it for 2 days, I started up FS, selected "Previous flight" and got into the B-25 right where I had left it, all powered down and engines off. but I can't start it! I thought it was just me, but CTRL-E doesn't work either. I started this plane w/o even reading the manual when I first got it, but re-checked the manual just to make sure I had everything setup right.I loaded the Cessna, started it, then reloaded the b-25. It loaded with both engines running. But I cut the mixture, put it to full rich again and tried to restart. NOTHING!What's up here?
