Hello Bill, Here is the contents of the applicable files on my MAAM CD: The first line of the READ_1ST.TXT on the CD says V4.0 but the third line of the same file reads V4.1. OK? So I install the r4d_2k.exe from the CD. I next run the 17.027K file r4d_2k2.exe that I believe I got from Roy but I don't actually remember where I got it. Now I have two additional files that need to be installed in V4.75 of r4d:r4d2k2ap.zip 2.855K 2-20-03 Roy "FS2002 R4D Version 4.75 Auto Pilot Upgrade" andr4d2k2ap-newer.zip 2.97K 2-27-03 Roy "FS2002 R4D Version 4.75 Auto Pilot Upgrade" also the AIR file:r4d-air.zip 4K 2-1-03…

When i open up some of the videos, such as 'Taxi' and 'Land' with Windows Media Player 9 the the program crashes when its halfway through. It doesnt happen with some of the other videos though. I have tried running these clips in the previous version of WMP but still the same. Here are my system statsP4, 512MBRAM DDR, 1.8ghz, Win Xp, WMP9.

Bill Rambo...After making several hops from HNL to OGG and return and on twoor three different occations upon landing the BT pulls to the extreme left. I dont recall this on the DF737 or FS2k2 default A/C..(but then again since BT there hasn't been anything worth flying). I've double checked prop and power settings on landing. Ops ck "ok"..It's like having no directional control with the joystick. While airborne joystick ops check "ok" also. Do you or anyone have a Idea?Mahalo

Hi Bill, I am thoroughly confused on installing the R4D from the MAAM CD ROM and then trying to determine which of the three or four updates to install and in what order. My original MAAM R4D CD has no revision on it at all but if I place the CD in my CD-drive (J) and look at J in Windows Explorer it has a title of R4DED4. The Read_1st file on the CD ROOT say Version 4 and that it is for FS2000. I want to install it on my FS2002. So now, I know there are either three or four updates but I don't know what the file's specific names are and I don't know what the sequence of these updates are. I was under the impression that the R4D should be at rev 4.75.…

Hey all, first, I just have to say thank you to the maam team for this great Plane, as well as there dedication to keeping the real Briefing Time and other warbirds flying!Anywho, heres my probelm. when I sart a flight in BT, without touching anything, I have full control over both engines..BUT, as soon as I try the engine select keys "E,1,2" I can only control #1(right) engine. I cant no matter how many times I select just 2 or both, I can only control #2 via mouse. Now, when I first got BT, it was working fine, but then I had to re-install it, not I've got this problem. When climbing and setting the mixture controls on the dc3 what procedure are you boys using. are you going by the sound of the engines or what in relation to gauge settings?---Louis

I installed it yesterday from the CD and got my key today. Very nice indeed even if I haven't really read the full manual yet. I can find only three or four repaints in the AVSIN library, none of US airliners or real charters. Anyone know of some sites that might have some goodies?

Hey all,I recently built a new PC and in the process lost ALL my payware aircraft. The CD I burned is reading as corrupt :(I have sent 3 emails (one a week) and am now going on the fourth week of NO RESPONSE from Marty at [email protected] . I sent all the info I had (I think I even had the email given me with my name and where to download the B25 install package).PLEASE help here. I really enjoy Briefing Time but want to include a little variety. Dunno anything about Gmax but is the R4D on a par with BT in terms of visuals, performance, etc? In fact, I don't even know if BT is Gmax.Is the R4D a good add-on or should I wait for a newer version?

Hi BillI would be very interested in your reply to MJOliver's mail of 12 March. I have the download version of the B25 from Avsim. But like him I just cannot access the bombardier's position either in 2D or 3DI think I have got the full 'Briefing Timg version installed as all 3 variations are in the variations list and I can get a 2D view of the gun turret looking back over the tail when I press Shift NP2Also even after reading the manual twice I cant find the tunnel which is suppose to be under the flight deck. How to access?Has anyone also have this problem?ThanksPeter

Am I remembering correctly that the R4D was SUPPOSED to be done around the MAAM weekend timeframe or did I imagine that comment?? Mike B.

I cannot get the instrument panel lights on (using Shift+L). The hourglass shows for a second and sometimes the lights come on and go off immediately. Using the "L" key all lights work as they should. I do a lot of night/bad weather in BT and want instrument lights WITHOUT landing lights. Can anyone help?Thanks in advance

I just installed AFP by Lago and flew BT in the mountains and AFP sure makes you work in the turbulance.. Looking for some T-Storms to try the microburst function out. BT is no longer "on rails", yea, it's great, one step closer to "As real as it gets". Mike B.

This is just an inquiry... After starting the engines and they are at idle I will hear this tap sound every so often. I am just curious what old antique sound is the B-25 making other than the grumbling of the radial engines? I don't mind the sound at all it is all wonderful. I am just trying to understand the old girl and what she is trying to tell me.....Thank you for the reply.

Inspired by Doolittles raiders I found myself fueled and ready to depart Eglin, AFB to Alameda,NAS, Oakland. What a great ride. I followed the flight plan based on the history written about the 16 B-25s flown from the Florida panhandle to Oakland,CA. It took three nights to complete with the first 800nm in HVY rain & thunderstorms.I ran short on fuel over Fort Stockton,TX and had to do a fuel stop in level 5 thunderstorms. Then hops on to ELP,TUS,SAN,LAX and OAK. I flew at fl150 w/avg GS 265kts. All VOR and NDB freq. checked out and did position checks with the #2 VOR.
