Hi,I have to add to the chorus saying what an incredible plane Bill, Jan, Fred and Rob created. As far as I am concerend, it is perfect in every single aspect. I have never been a fan of VC's but the version this team created is so good that I have to use it. The outside looks of this aircraft are stunning as well, as everybody knows by now. And what is a plane without a good flight model? This flight model is superb. It makes for wonderful hand flying. And finally, the great documentation. I really want to understand what I am doing, so the manual, pictures and movies are invaluable.Attached two authentic pictures of the B-25J. Fortunately, they were preserved very well.…

Well, looks like I'll have to face the music at MAAM and take the old girl back home!Synopsis:Flew from the UK to Reading USA in the PA-46. Twiddled my thumbs for a while in the museum, but no sign of BT yet... A burst of inspiration and I'm back in the air in the 46 and across the States to California. Offshore I encounter the John C Stennis for a dry run and an impromptu 'Touch & Go' off the deck... I didn't have much choice in the matter - not sure whether the Meridian's cut-out for this sort of thing! (Though I dare say there'll be some genius out there who can do it!) Anyhow, it's back to MAAM and a 3 hr familiarisation flight in BT, which has by now arrived on …

Hi MAAM guys,I must say that the implementation of a rear facing 2D top turret view in BT is a buzz of an idea when it comes to holding that line on climb-out. Much better than a rendundant 2D rendering of the rear cockpit (Jan's mind-blowing VC has that well and truly covered as it is!). Any chance you might incorporate this same feature in the new R4D making good use of her cute little astrodome? An absolutely stunning product, guys! Thank you very much!Sir John :-sword

Hi to all, :-beerchugMay I add my appreciation of this wonderful add-on for FS2k2. Although my package had a minor problem with a blank second CD (now in hand for replacement), so I have not, as yet seen the 48 minutes of video or the 500 digital photos, the videos on the first CD are extremely interesting and informative. So also is the Manual that comes with it.I already have their RD4 DC3 which has always been a number one favourite of mine. Now I have two favourites at least. :-spacecraftGenerally I have found it all works perfectly and is a thrill to fly. I have found that it pays to heed the warning to close anything running in the background including any virus che…

For those of you who also own the MAAM R4D, here's a simple way to add the Sperry MkIII autopilot to Briefing Time. Since there's no room on the main panel, it needs to be added to a popup window. Since BT already has nine panels defined, it must be added to an existing popup panel in order to be displayable using the "shift+#" function from the VC. I decided to use the GPS panel since it was easiest and because BT doesn't really have a GPS either. After all, might as well keep all our anomolies together. ;) All you have to do is edit panel.cfg and change the section labeled "Window08" as follows:Background_color=16,16,16 size_mm=925,388position=8visible=0ident=10008size…

As many B-25 a/c were equipped with one I tried to add Arne's Sperry gauge to the panel, However whatever method I use I always end up with a messed up panel and a nicely working Sperry. Can it be done?Looking at the panel I wonder where they had it stuffed? I know that I can activate the AP with CTRL+T, but I'd still prefer the real thing as I'm taking the bird on loooong hops...cheers-------------------MeatWaterProfessional Audio 4 Entertainmentwww.meatwater.com

I just converted the videos into VideoCD format, burned a CD and watched the lot on my main house television.Much better than viewing on a PC screen! If you don't have the ability to do the conversion, download a trial version of Nero Burning ROM from http://www.nero.com/en/index.html which will do it all for you.K.

Let me just first say that i absolutely Love this model. First rate job. Fantastic work!!!However, i don't how many of you use GoFlight modules. I have the gear/flap module and the button module. After upgrading the configuration, i found that my panel hot buttons disappeared in the 2d panel. No CP, Starter, zoom, etc buttons. I used the keyboard shortcuts to bring up the panels, and it just "layered" the panel over the existing one, and "zoomed" panels showed no guages. When i bring up the co-pilot panel, the hot buttons on the right have also disappered. When i bring up throttle quadrant panel - the area where the panel pops up is just grey (same with other control wind…

I know that the elevator trim can be reset to "0" by using the mouse and clicking in the middle of the trim wheel, however, I thought I read in the manual (or somewhere) that you could push a key on the keyboard to do the same thing. I can't seem to find that key. Am I mistaken, must the mouse be used or is there a key? I have tried "5" on the number portion of the keyboard with now success. Thanks in advance. Brad

In the FS2k2 universe, there simply is no rival aircraft that can compare to this B-25J. I am overwhelmed by the new graphic and functional features everytime I fly it. I was on approach to KRDG in a thunderstorm and took this screenshot with the reflected lightning. I could not resist posting it, especially since the Screenshot forum is gone for now. So forgive my misstep, but I thought you all might enjoy this.GrantM

I hope someone can help me with this... I was flying around Norway, had a flight from Torp to Kjevik. However, the compass was of little use to me. It showed a 40 - 50

Hi all,I received the B-25J BT CD a few days ago. What a fantastic plane. The attention to detail is incredible. However, there are some things regarding the cockpit views that were not to my liking. Just a martter of taste, of course. No criticism.1. When looking forward right- or forward-left in 2D mode the horizon was too low, certainly when compared to the forward view. I saw that this was deliberately set in the panel.cfg file. Perhaps to have a better view in turns. I like it differently.2. When switching to 3D (VC) mode I found myself floating above the plane when looking forward-left and forward-right. Moving down affected all other views, so I had to return to de…

Bill.. In the manual and other posts I understood that in the three planes: the BT, Med, and Light That only the BT and Med had all positions except the Med had no Vert Cockpit. My CD has the same positions for the BT Model and the Med Model They both have all the same views... The Light has cockpit view and the only difference is I see no engines and wing on the side views. it has no Vert cockpit. but has all the other views. Gunners, top turrent, and Bombers view. Am I missing somthing here or all the CDs this way... Not that I am complaining I love the Plane and consider it the best ww2 aircraft I own... I fly in the Light Model most of the time and use the Med at …

Just wanted to send a thanks out to all of those that worked so hard on putting together the best looking vintage aircraft ever, the B-25J!I flew it for the first time today and I was so impressed. I think I spent atleast a half hour just walking around, kicking the tires, panning around, opening and closing what ever I could, just to get aquainted with her. Then I climbed into the cockpit and started her up! Boy was I drooling now. The sounds the sights! Oh, she is beautiful. Listened to ATIS then got my clearance to taxi (by the way I am at Reading,PA). I was amazed at how much throttle it took just to get the plane rolling. Most aircraft for FS2002 don't add in…
