Mid-Atlantic Air Museum Simulations User-to-User Support

Hi Folks,Just got my Briefing Time and WOW!!!!!! ALso, it came only a few days after I ordered it. Many thanks to the museum volunteers who made this possible. Truly a great package - can't say enough about it.Suprisingly the fps and smoothness of the VC is good even with my lower end system (Dell PIII, 1 gig, 512mb ram, GeForce 2 mx400 32 mb). I usually keep my display sliders to the max.The manual is also extremely good and has loads of pictures and illustrations. Unfortunately, on my system I find that some of the pictures (of various instrument panels etc.) are not being displayed when I view the manual. Hello, I do not hear any Marker sounds when the R4D passes over any one of the known sound generating markers. The same markers, same airport runway, do generate a sound in a different aircraft so I suspect I have something set up incorrectly in the R4D but it eludes me right now. Does anyone have any ideas?Thanks and Regards

You've probably seen Dreamfl**ts Config-o-matic and Text-o-matic. These could be combined into one program (clickable from the desktop) allowing you to load passengers, add/remove aircraft, specify internal lighting colors etc etc.2. I just got toasted today :( I hope my CD arrives in the mail, because I just got a call in from my bank informing me, that the jack-##### that hacked the credit processing center a week or two ago got 60 card numbers from my bank. Turns out I was one of them. No big deal having my card changed out, but the cancelled my card today and I don't get a new one until next Tuesday. I have already called begging my wife for her credit card. I have a better chance pulling an elephant out of my butt (cool visual huh!) than her lending me $25 of credit to buy my toys. Hi, I just happened to run across this site: http://www.dc3airways.com/entry.htmland saw a patch for the R4D Sperry, rd42k2ap.zip and I wonder if this patch is part of the combo of the MAAM CD V4.1 plus the Visual Upgrade patch plus the 2K2 upgrade? I tried contacting Bill but have not received any response yet. Is anyone in this group familiar with this patch?Thanks

I received my "combo" package today and just wanted to say the aircraft, photos, and videos are awesome. Had to walk through a major snowstorm hitting the Northern Virginia area to get the package out of my mailbox but it was definitely worth it. Now I'm going to be stuck in my house for a couple of days. Hi Bill: Dogs must be resting, still hasn't shown up here, but I digress.. I use multi monitors here (up to five depending on A/C ) and was wondering if I can have the bomb drivers view active at the same time as the main panel?? In othere words is the view a "window" or another "view" which will require another copy of FS running. That would be too cool to have that view running at the same time... Been flying into N57 and it's pretty tough to get in there alright, but have made it every time so far, gonna need new brakes though... I can't wait to get the real CD and offer to host a multiplayer session with a few guys to do some formation on line flying. Anyone …

but I will. Just ordered 2 cds. Hopefully they will arrive prior to my vacation so I can hand deliver the spare to my dad. It will be the most expensive cd he has received. Why? He'll have to upgrade his computer to the latest and the greatest. This will justify a new computer, whether it is needed or not. Looking forward to the delivery.

While I am delighted with the excellent work you guys have done on the B-25, I was very disappointed by your decision to drop plans to do a Connie. I understand that the landing competition is going to be held at the next AVSIM Conference in September at the MAAM. I assume that this will only be conducted on-site at the conference and not online.As far as the landing competition is concerned, what will be the parameters for determining the winner, what airport will be used, are will the results be measured? I received the Briefing Time cd's today... WOW !!!even on my old/ancient system, she's great! Can't wait to upgrade. However, for some reason I cannot play the videos. I can get anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute on all of them then the computer locks up and I get a "WMPLAYER caused an invalid page fault in module QUARTZ.DLL and also in module WMPUI.DLL.
