Hi guys, please don't take this a typical smartass I know better question. The plane flies great. It is just that it really interests me. Both props are spinning in the same direction. Is that right?Doesn't this produce the unrealistic yaw during takeoff?I notice that at least all of Steve Small's props are counterspinning. Rgds,Alex

Is there any way to get the BT into CFS2 or CFS3? That would be GREAT! Thanks, regards to all, Bob.

Hello,I'm very glad the MAAM team comes on Avsim forum !I've been checking your website for a while now for the R4D Gmax. I did not dare to send an email not to waste your time but can you please clarify a few points please :1) Is it possible to buy by download the current version of the R4D (plane + 2D panel) ?2) I understand that a new version of the R4D with a Gmax 3D model plus a virtual cockpit is under construction and will be available sometime in the future. Is that correct ?I'm eager to contribute to the museum through the R4D for FS.Thank you.Tony

"G" on the keyboard will raise the gear handle inside the flight deck, but a spotview from the outside shows the mains and nose gears not moving at allIm hoping that this will be addressed soon.Aloha,Mahalo !

Yup, that is the real Briefing Time. The guy with his arm attached to the fuselage is none other than Mr. Rambow. Photo taken at last year's Member's Weekend at MAAM. If you attend the AVSIM Exhibition and Conference this September, you too can pat the bottom of BT. :)

Has anybody managed to get off of the carrier deck using the recommended settings? After taking a dozen or so swims,:-vuur I finally tried full flaps instead of 1/2 flaps and got off on the first try.:-yellow1The briefing also says to keep the nose higher than normal on the roll but I also can never get the nose to raise at all before rolling off the edge of the deck. The elevators simply aren't effective until you gain some more speed. I'm only making about 50-60 mph as I leave the deck.:-eekA real challenge and a great feeling when you pull it off!:-beerchug

Gentlemen,What can I say, "excellant", but then I would expect nothing less from the team that developed this one.I have three small issues that I would appreciate some input on.1. The ASI indicates something less than 10 MPH after complete stop.2. I can't find the parking brake in the cockpit, but Ctrl +. does function.3. I do not hear the flap movement .wav sound, but they function ok and the CP's voice is audiable.ThanksRoy

I am still waiting patiently for my B-25 to come thru the mail, but was sitting here thinking about the new R4D coming soon to GMax. But the question of how soon? I've got money to burn, and figured I would love to burn it on that! ;)Having had the previous versions of the R4D it has become a favorite to show off to friends and family who happen by and bother me when I am busy doing something productive like flying my FS! Any way I wasn't sure how soon you all were looking at re-releasing the new model.Thank you for your support of our hobby, and that of the MAAM orginization.JohnnyKTUS

The more I fly this BT the more impressed with the flight model and aircraft in general... I have a three lever CH yoke USB and pedals. I have the left two levers set up as throttles and the third as the prop.. I have NEVER been able to steer a FS aircraft with throttles before, this one works GREAT with differential power on the ground. I also tried using the first lever as the throttle and the second and thrid ones as prop controls. Is harder to steer that way BUT you get to play with the engine sync display in the tach. Really cool to get the engines out of sync.. Lol. You can do it the first way I mentioned however you have to change the power setting until th…

Maybe I missed it somewhere in the documentation, but is there a way to feather an engine in this model. I tried shutting down one engine, but I could not find the feathing switch anywhere on the panel.Overall, this is the most fantastic model I have seen produced for the MS Flight Sim environment. It is visually stunning, and it flies fantastically with great framerates. Congrats to the entire development team. Keep em coming!Final thought: Although I haven't tried this yet, but can you move through the entire aircraft in virtual mode. I would love to go up in the nose and have a full view all around while the aircraft is flying. If so, I can't wait to try it when I ge…

I received the following from Marty Arant, the manager of the Avsim Store with regard to questions on encryption and secure ordering:"Regarding the secure check out on the new Avsim store site. I've checked with our webmaster and the site IS SECURE. The reason customers are not seeing the "lock icon" is because of a frame issue with the checkout page when accessed from the pop-up table which appears after ordering an item.It shows 4 choices "make changes - checkout now - continue shopping - empty cart." Accessing checkout here will not show the security icon. If however, when the customer has finished shopping he clicks "checkout now" on the top banner to the right of …

Well I couldn't stand it anymore so I downloaded BT. Been flying around midway island. Flew from Midway to Kure with real overcast and 1000' ceiling and when I broke out there she was. A mere ##### hole in the snow....(see attached photo for the climb out from Midway.. Noticed one thing with the props.. After the take off the normal procedure in any constant speed prop I have ever flown (real world)is to reduce RPM first then MAP. Doing that in BT will get a pretty good increase in RPM until you pull the prop back a LOT. Not right guys.. This baby is a pure blast to fly.... What's this "sound thingy" some one mentioned?? Putting the FSSound.DLL in the modules f…
