Hi guys,I would like to reinstall Briefing Time to my PC, but the CD I have is from FS2002. Can I install that, as is, or do I need to "patch" up to FS9 version? And if so, can you link me to the required patch? Thanks!!I just found the patches on a saved on a disc!! Thanks anyway, love that plane!

Have installed the DC3/R4D into FSX as per instructions. I cannot now find the alternative "aircraftES.cfg"file to enable easy steering. Aircraft works fine, Have I missed something, or is it not possible in FSX? Has anyone got this working in FSX? Many thanks in advance. Stuart.

Great to have a patch for bt to run in fsx this is my all time favorite sim aircraft but i am having a problem when running fsx under vista (by the way fsx runs much better under vista) any time you input a command with the shift key like to pull up the throttle quadrant it crashes the sim completely this doesn't happen with any other aircraft or when running under xp.Is any one else seeing this?

When flying the Maam Sim DC-3 using FSX I have no panel lights when using the VC. I have tried pilot controls the lights, and automatic control. Pressing the L key a number of times will make the lights come up for a fraction of a second and go off. The regular cockpit lights work but the VC panel lights do not work in any of the versions. If any one has a fix, I would appreciate it.

Hi gang,I've installed the patch and tried the medium_Y technique but I still have that *!@*$^% paper cut out effect obscuring the panel gauges when I want the yoke gone. The yoke is still there but not quite "there". It's like a ghost that doesn't want to leave. I want it gone. I prefer flying approaches in VC mode and it obscures my most important gauge while in ILS approach. I haven't flown my nice DC 3 in a while for that reason. Please help in eliminating this nasty little ghost that haunts my cockpit. Thanks

Howdy gents!Recently got into flying this DC-3 again and found a "major" problem :s.I got the IFR mod from the library here and all is working good except the mixture handles.I want to lean the mixture once getting at higher altitudes (want to put them on Auto Lean),but the lever goes straight to Iddle Cut... which ends at total loss of power and i need to stay at lower altitudes (below 10000ft as to my testing). Is this a known thingie or i'm i doing something wrong?Looking forward hearing your input on this :)!Regards,Steven

I have both the new DC3 file and the upgrade patch for SFXTo avoid a mistake I'd appreciate confirmation that the following sequence would be correct:1.Install the new file but change the default path from FS9 to FSX2.The install the patch in the same way.Cliff

It's a small point, but I can't seem to access the passenger cabin views on any of the DC3 aircraft. I'm running your package under FSX, with the patch etc. I assume they are meant to come up when you toggle through the other views, but they don't!

  22. I'm madly in love with the MAAM DC3 in FSX. I just can't stop flying it. One small thing I'm trying to figure out is how to fix the turns in the AP. When you click the turns it doesn't in increments of 10 rather than degree by degree. Is there a way to adjust that? Is there some cfg setting I can tweak? It's fine in FS9.Lee

  23. Started by Midnight Music,

I just purchased the Briefing Time package for FSX. Added to my DC3 package I have two wonderful planes from MAAM. Everything works fine with both packages and they are great. One thing that is not being taken advantage of is the different camera views that are available in FSX. I'm going to start working on adding some, but if anybody has some great ones already figured out I would love to get them from you to give me a head start.Lee:-cool

This is my nemesis!!! No matter what I do, I can't get the IFR variant to show up. Attatched is my aircraft .cfg, did I do something wrong? I doublechecked- no file omissions.Any ideas?Thanx in advance... :-waveWhoops!!! MAJOR edit, I figured it out. The problem was I was looking for a different model. It appears under DC-3 passenger as a variant. Apparently that was the problem the first three times I tried to do this too.The foolish and the wicked will suffer, but the foolish first :-)Thanx for a major addition to a great product, I will enjoy the DC-3 even more now.Thank you Mark Beaumont for all your patience with me...Best Regards, Donald T.FLYing? It's cool. Trillio…
