I installed my FS2004 DC3 CD according to the readme in the FSX update patch. I also installed the FSX update patch and it seems as if everything is working well. One thing though: the engine start doesn't seem to work at all. Is that still a bug in FSX and to be corrected later on? The VIB click switch only works onec and then no more. Could here the sound from the fuel pump switch but nothing happens. Ctrl+E seems to work after a reload.hermannk1

Ok! experts, I loaded my cd Fs9 version into FSX and followed the instructions, added the FSX update and everything looked good. loaded up the R4D primed it, hit the start and Vibrator with fuel on, and it started as advertised. next time selected DC3 same procedure and "No joy"tryed the C47 same thing. I deleated the .cfg file, and got it all back, and those aircraft will still not light off, so guys; what have I done that I should or should not have.;-)

I need some assistance, I have my FS9 installed to the standard location but to a non standard drive. My main drive is the I: drive, I don't have a C: drive at the moment due to a drive melt down. I can't do the alternate instructions because I can't create a C:ProgramFilesMicrosoftetc etc folder. I have tried just changing the C: to an I: when using the OY-BPB auto installer but no luck, is there anything I can do?

I was successfully using the new MAAM_B25.gau (from the BT FSX fix) with FSX SP1.I got a new Dell XPS410 that has Vista OS.The ONLY aircraft in my extensive library that I could not switch over to my new computer was Briefing Time. I could select it (see it rotating), but after selecting "Fly Now", I would get a "Fatal Error".When I aliased another aircraft's panel, BT would load normally.I decided, after doing a process of elimination on the gauges in the panel.cfg, to substitute the older version of MAAM_B25.gau for the 2/12/2007 version.Everything works perfectly (BT loads and flies normally) following that substitution.I have no problem with Vista's User Account.Thoug…

On a couple of occasions I have had an engine fire in the DC3. It has occurred on a second flight when I have shutdown and then restarted. The first time was on climbout from an airfield. The second was near the end of the flight.I have not programmed any failures into the aircraft.I am obviously doing something wrong but I cannot work out what.Can somebody please let me know what I am doing wrong, or not doing right.

I'm trying to install the B=25 on Vista-64bit. I am using the download version. I try to install in the Flight Simulator X directory, but I can't find it. However, when I try it again I see the Aircraft folder when I am selecting the directory. I have to install the FS2004 version in the Flight Simulator X directory before I do the FSX Patch. Can someone please help.

I have B25 running well on FS2004 and have the boxed CD version. How can I get it running on FSX or do I have to purchase a new version. I found a download on MAAM and the .exe worked but nothing on FSX??

I have been wishing for this for a long time so I thought I would post it here to see how other people felt about it. I would love it if someday somebody would release scenery for all of the USAAF airfields in the UK during WWII. Some of them still exist in MSFS but alot of them don't. Wouldn't it be a GREAT on line session to recreate Operation Neptune. There is alot of information out there about the formations of C-47's that flew that day. Also if that scenery could include the marker beacons used for navaids during the flights. That would be great too. Does anybody else think that would be a great idea???

Flying a GPS flight plan with autopilotI noticed that, the yoke turns left for right hand turns and the pedals turn the wrong way too?It also 'dolphins' due to the tail elevators flapping?Anyone else spotted this?

Hello:I have installed on of the modified panels for the DC3 AC and have foundthat when I set the heading indicator to say 322 before starting the Autopilot it works fine but in flight with autopilot already engaged I can not enter say heading 325 it jumps to 312. My question is there something in the AC cfg file that would be causing this and if so where and what would should it be changed to?Regards,Ron

I ran across this great Nordair repaint done by Mark Beaumont for a DC-3 from 2000 - 2002. I know everyone is busy taking care of their own business, but can someone please adapt this repaint to the MAAM DC-3? It is an outstanding repaint and needs to be revised for the MAAM DC-3. Appreciate your time, Dennis

Inspired by the new download versions of the R4D and B-25, I have just finished converting and re-encoding all the instructional videos for both the B-25 and R4D, as well as the WWII B-25 training film. Previously available only on our CD-ROMs, for the first time the videos are available individually, encoded at 764 Kbps,(320x240) with Windows Media Encoder for streaming.The 13 videos for the Douglas were taken in the cockpit of MAAM's R4D-6 #50819 and feature instruction on all the different phases of the plane's operation by museum President and Chief-Pilot, Russ Strine. I recently purchased the download version of the B-25. All is well except the videos I downloaded from the free stuff page. the world war two training video only plays the first 16 seconds. More importantly the "briefing time instructional video" does not work at all. the download is 77mb and when I attempt to open it it says it is missing information. I would appreciate any help I could get on this. thanks

Hi, I can no longer see the ground to taxi or takeoff when using virtual cockpit in FSX, when I am in the ground. I could see the ground in front of the airplane perfectly in FS9. Is there a way to adjust the FSX virtual cockpit view? Best regards. Orlando.
