Hi all,I am quite experienced in sim-flying, however, quite new to the really nice MAAM DC-3.I have made my first traffic patterns in the UA pax DC-3 whithout the steerable tailwheel, i.e. only differential brakes and differential throttle. It worked quite well.I have now installed the OY-BPB and subsequently the LH CADE which I very much like, however, the tailwheel of these birds is steerable with the rudder which does not feel very realistic. I want to go back to the differential brakes and differential throttle way to turn the aircraft.I have checked the aircraft.cfgs but did not find the difference between steerable/non-steerable tailwheel. Is there somebody who could…

EDIT: Patch 2 has been superseded by Avenger Service Pack 1 and is no longer available. This patch contains a new gauge set (MAAM_TBM.gau v203) and air files for each Avenger which correct the reversed aileron trim control of the original model. Also included are new Panel.cfg's which have minor clean-up and z-order# changes suggested by WarHorse47 on this forum. These modifications, along with using the MAAM-SIM start-up flights, instead of one of his own devising, eliminated the CTD's he had experienced when changing aircraft during a FS session. It is hoped that the few user's afflicted by this known issue will also find relief from these changes.Bill RambowMAAM-SIM …

Does the TBM-1 have landing lights? I notice the approach light button on the electrical panel but it doesn't seem to do anything. If not the TBM-1, do any of the other variants have landing lights.

I have just bought the MAAM Douglas R4D/DC3 / C-47 download version. The download and installation caused no problem. However trying to unzip the Manual with the instruction video's (the big one of about 256 MB) and some liveries results in an error-message and a stop of the unzipping-process right at the beginning.Any download from the free-stuff page has the same unzip-problem.I have tried a download without the Norton 360 protection, but the same result. Is there anyone who can help me with some information about this problem.I use Windows XP Prof.Martien van de Rovaart

Hi allYesterday I started a nice adventure with my C-47: the Hellenic historic tour (Greek Division of IVAO Network), which will bring my wings from Greece to South Corea, as happened in 1952. It's a loooong trip, with some legs over 1000NM. Done the first, landed in Cyprus (over 3 hours). I also found the right liveries for Hellenic Royal Air Force in the free stuff area.As I use FSBuild to plan my route, has anybody the aircraft specs for the C-47 to use in FSBuild?Thx in advance

Hi all,When the C47 expansion came out it brought in new additions to the VC plus some other refinements to the model file. This improvements / changes were to be implemented to the passenger and cargo versions but I haven't seen anything on it for a long time. Is the upgrade due to come out soon?. Would appreciate your news on the subject.Regards,Christian Conesa.

British Airways Virtual is organizing a special event, comemorating the Berlin Airlift. I would like to fly the MAAM's DC-3, with the appropriate livery. Which one is the most appropriate? I hope to get some help...Another question: it seems that, when flying online, other pilots see the DC-3 as a big kite. Is there any way to make it appear in all its beauty?Regards,Domingos

HiI'm completely new to this forum, so this is my first post, so please be gentle with me!First of all, congratulations to all those involved in the MAAM team who present us with such excellent sim aircraft - I have them all and although I haven't flown it much yet, I thing the Avenger will become my favourite - I've loved this plane since childhood (a long time ago now!) and I am virtually fulfilling a dream by actually getting to "fly" it now.I have noticed a great discussion on problems loading the TBM, changing to another aircraft and getting CTDs. I have tried every possible option of changing from TBM to another aircraft, either default or another add-on (MAAM of co…

  13. When I first installed FSX on my new VISTA machine, I loaded the R4D (one of my all-time favorites) and after some tweaking I got it working pretty well. I haven't used it for a while but tried to use it again yesterday. I now have a CTD whenever I try to open the Electical Panel. This is probably the first time I've loaded the R4D since I installed SP2. Is this a known problem?Charlie

Perhaps someone could tell me how to add a carrier to FSX so I can fly this flight? I "installed" the default flights for Briefing Time, as instructed; but my B25 materializes in mid-air...only to belly flop into the sea as it completes the loading process!! Very hard to get to Tokyo or anywhere else that way! lol...Thanks,Vance Roberts

Bill,I met you @ the MAAM 4 June 08 WW2 weekend and bought a copy of your TBM. LOVE IT!! I've also mentioned that I'll prvide some feedback too. So far the only thing I seemed to notice is that aileron trim may be backwards (left is right & right is left) I'll keep checking in case I'm wrong. I do have the patch 1 installed. On another note, the link (dsd_arrester_zone.ini) for the midway enhacement soes not work. Could you post that file? Thanks in advance.

Hello,I downloaded and installed the Midway/Coral Sea scenery. Since these carriers do not have catapults, what is the takeoff procedure?I tried to set up wind at about 20knts and still cannot get into the air. I use brake and throttle up to full rpm. Still in the drink. I even tried pushback to the "wires" and still in the drink. What is this NEWBIE missing here? Thanks in advance,Ron Sagel
