With the new TBM Avenger CTD fix, I am now starting to fly the Avenger again & have tried some carrier flying. I am having a problem with the COP Carrier Catapult & Catapult Gauge in that when the Avenger is properly positioned at the catapult on the Langley carrier. I cannot get the "ARM" switch to turn green & am unable to activate the switch. This happens on flights I create using the Langley carrier. If I go to the "fish on the cat" flight from the MAAM-Sim Avenger Flights, the switch works properly.I used to be able to use the catapult on the Langley on flights I would create & save but since I have just started flying the Avenger again I have not be…

Hallo,After installing the last patch for the Avenger the COP sound was missing during carrier landings.After a long search and reinstalling everything i found something wrong in the panel cfg,s in the fsfsconv map.I found the name off this gauge is wrong !gauge36=COP_Sound!dsd_xml_sound3, 0,0,20,20,./gauges/rcb-miljet/COP_Sound.INIt has to be!gauge36=COP_Sound!dsd_xml_sound3, 0,0,20,20,./gauges/rcb-miljet/COP_Sound.INIAfter the change all sounds where back, so if you have some problems with the COP v2.0 installation check the panel cfg file,sHope this Tip helps.rgds Willem

As delivered (i.e. as purchased and downloaded a few weeks ago) the MAAM-SIM C47 "Delivery Condition" callsign for ATC is "Army Army." :( Since this is weird beyond belief, I edited the aircraft.cfg file to show atc_airline=Army and atc_flight_number=388 (since the aircraft number is 118388 and ATC typically shortens all registration-based and military number-based callsigns to the last 3 digits.)Unbelievably (for me at least) it worked! No more "Army Army is cleared to the Cairo airport as filed...." :( The reason for posting this here is to help any others who may also be irritated by the original insane (and redundant, not to mention ambiguous!) callsign of this aircra…

I'm running the R4d DC-3 and C-47 package on FSX . I did the FSX UPDATE for the MAAM-SIM R4D/DC-3/C-47 CD and ADD-ON C-47s.It works fine until I install the auto mix install panels/gauges etc. If I try and bring up the electrical panel it crashes the game.Actaully after I installed the IFR panel...thats when I get a CDT when trying to bring up the electrical panel.

Help!! I have a fully functional DC3 package but the autopilot does not show up in any of the a/c. It used to be there but I recently changed PC's (to a Vista machine) and the AP disappeared. Any ideas why and how I "retrieve it". txs,ChrisCYVR

I got a new rig a few days ago, and have installed FSX w/ acceleration and my favorite plane of all the Maam-Sim R4D/DC-3/c-47. There is, unfortunately, a problem. The exterior textures don't show up. The plane is all white on the outside. Interior textures show up in the VC though.I don't think this was the case when I initially installed, but I'm not 100% sure about that. With it being a new install, I have been tweeking settings and making all sorts of changes, getting stuff set up, so I can't even begin to make a connection to anything specific I may have done.Can anyone think of something simple that this problem may be? Can someone please explain to me why there is a slight gap through the insulation on the pilots side in vc mode? Using fs9 w/ passenger dc-3. I recently checked all of the other versions and they seem to be fine. My other post was wrong, when I stated that it existed in the other versions, sorry. Is there something I can do to remedy this issue? I already did a clean reinstall.

I recently downloaded a nice C-133 Cargomaster for fs2004. It looks and flies great, however when I go to shutdown the engines (ctrl / shift / F1), the propellers continue to spin even though I can hear that the engines have spooled down. I have re-loaded the flight with no changes. Does anyone have any ideas?I do have one other aircraft a B-36 Peacemaker, again looks and flies great. This aircraft has piston engines and jets. The piston engines spool down and the props stop, but the jet engines do not stop completely, in that I can hear them spooling down to say 10%, and then they remain at that level without shutting down completely. I recently bought and installed the MAAM-SIM R4D/DC3/C-47 package (downloaded) along with the FSX upgrade to allow the package to work with FSX. I do NOT have SP2 or the Acceleration pack, so I did not install the transparency fix. So far, no problems with any transparencies (gauges, windows) except that the Astrodome on the R4D's is missing- a known issue.My problem is that one of the MAAM Aircraft folders has two aircraft in it, but only one of them is available to fly. The C-47 Air Drop Cargo folder's aircraft.cfg file has an RAF Dakota (YS-DM, KG374) under [fltsim.0] which works fine, and also a USAF 'Berlin Train' C-47 labeled 'Operation Vittels' (sic) under [fltsim.…

SP1 supersedes and includes all previous Avenger updates. You need not uninstall anything and must allow overwrite of all files. When adjusting controls after take off I can not make a small adjustment setting the mixture to auto lean - the mixture lever goes down to shut off position causing the loss of the engine hope somebody has a solution for this problem :( :(PS I should mention that I use the mouse control to pull down or push up the levers

Just bought the TBM and with all your other products that I own I was really looking forward to flying it. However, everytime the aircraft is chosen the scenery loading scale never shows any progress then FS2004 abruptly crashes to desk top. I've uninstalled the aircraft and reinstalled it, I've downloaded the install file twice and reloaded it but all for naught, nothing seems to work. The Microsoft error report indicates that the bug is in the TBM file, I tried to copy the error report to send to you but Microsoft wouldn,t allow it. Can you help? My old Windows XP computer crashed so I got a new high end Model and it came with Vista Home Premium, Now I can push ALL the sliders to the right on FSX and FS9 and get unreal graphics. Unfortunately when I loaded BT in 2004 on the new computer it looked great until I hopped into the pilots seat and there were absolutely no guages, popups or anything else in the cockpit. I have tried reloading half a dozen times with no success even after uninstalling previous tries. HELP!
