Hello,I bought the Maam DC3 and it works fine with my FS9. I have 2 screens; the main one with cockpit 2D window, trafic control window, flaps and gear window, and the other screen with for instance GPS, electrical switches etc ...The problem is that to open for instance the GPS window, you have to go first on the CP window and clic on GPS icon. So GPS window open. OK. But if I return on AC window the GPS window closes, and all the windows opened under CP windows.I have this problem only with this plane. Thank you for your help. (I hope you understand what I mean !)Jean Noël

I installed B25 in FSX, using the recommended supplement. But there is no Virtual Cockpit, only the scenery out there! I'm using FSX with SP2, no acceleration. What can I do? :(

The transition to FSX has been successful except for the gauges not working. When I install the gauge icon into the main gauge folder in FSX the flight Simulater will not run. The same gauge folder contains the equivilant icons for other MAAM planes. All the other updates are installed.I must be doing something wrong. Plane is great even without the gauges-landing gear, throttle etc. all work OK.Please help.HP

I recently had to reload FSX on my PC. I am running Service Pack 1 with no acceleration, because I have a lot of FS9 planes that won't run with acceleration or service pack 2 installed. I'm having a problem with the MAAM DC3 that did not occur before my FSX installation went south. The plane loads normally and the gauges are all there. Problem is that when I begin the engine start sequence and attempt to pull up the overhead electrical panel or the pedestal panel pop up, it causes FSX to crash and restart. I downloaded the FSX patch for the DC3 which did not help. Any ideas? Appreciate any help. Thanks!

I finally got around to installing the MAAM DC-3/R4D in FSX. I ran the CD, moved the aircraft files to simobjects, ran the FSX patch and also needed the widows transparency patch. Finally, I installed the yoke removal textures (DCMAAM10.ZIP). However, the yokes are not completely removed. They are invisible below the instrument panel, but where they cross the instrument panel they cast flat gray shadows that obscure instruments just like the yoke.Does anybody know how to fix this and make the yokes truly invisible in FSX?A second minor issue is that the FS select aircraft menu shows only 3 types of DC-3 (cargo, passenger and R4D although a couple of versions of each) …

Hi,According to the checklist, before take-off, we set mixture to auto-rich.But, if we take-off at high-elevation airport, say, 5000 or 6000ft, how should we adjust mixture? Still auto-rich? Thanks a lot.Regards,tcc0928

Has anybody figured out a way to get the landing lights to show up from the cockpit when using the UAL_noVC model? They appear fine in SPOT view but I'd really like to see where I'm going, from inside the cockpit, at night and I don't use the VC or medium VC models. Thanks! Vic

Running Windows 7 Pro; FSX + Acceleration. FSX and other Windows apps I have installed run perfectly.I purchased the "package deal" and it is unclear to me how to install these planes. It appears from the brief instructions, I need to have FS 2002 or FS 2004 installed first. I suspect I may have just made a $107 donation to MAAM, with the benefit of not flying the aircraft. Or, I may be too "slow" and old to figure out the installation....after all, I'm 67 and taking prednisone. :( Separately, i cannot read the ~$AD_1ST.doc (readme first) for the R4D, which i suspect may have installation instructions. I did download the 2 FSX updates for R4D from "free stuff," but w…

Two years ago I purchased the TBM Avenger; this was my third MAAM purchase, having previously bought Briefing Time back in the days of FS2002 and, more recently, the download version of the superb C-47 package.Shortly after this purchase I managed to fry my PC, losing the majority of my backups in the process. I have recently built myself a new PC, and am in the process of rebuilding my Flightsim setup; to this end I emailed Bill asking what the procedure was, and he just pointed me to the (expired) download link in my email - all subsequent communication has not been replied to unfortunately, not the level of customer service I had always previously experienced from you…

I have been looking at the MAAM DC-3 for a while. I was tempted by the new Uiver DC-2 for FSX, but decided to go with the DC-3. So, last night, I bought it, the download version, from the MAAM store, Order #8645. It wasn't until this morning that I got an email notice of the purchase. That's okay, it was late when I bought it. But it's after 3:00 pm my time now and I still haven't received any information about how to actually download it. I sent an email to support this morning asking for that information. Nothing. I don't want to be impatient, but I've never had to wait as much as an hour to download any product I've bought before. I've looked all over the MAAM…

I recently upgraded FSUIPC 4.6 to the registered version, and since then I cannot change the com, nav, or adf freqs. I am using FSX, SP2, Accel, on a Win7 64 bit machine. Before, when using the unregistered version of FSUIPC, I could change any and all the freqs using the mouse. Now when I try, I can hear the clicks , and the knobs move, but the freqs stay the same.Is this a known bug ( I haven't seen it reported here), or am I the only 1 with this issue? Thanks in advance for any help.

I have the CD's for RD-4 DC-3 and the Mitchell B-25 but they won't install in my new PC using FS9 and Win 7 O/S. Everything installs OK except for the gauges and the sound.dll's. The gauges cannot be seen just empty holes. I still have my old PC running in parrallel to the new one and even tried a straight transfer of files from the program in the old via my back up drive into the new one but still no gauges.as a side bar I should add that the RD-4 installed once but had no gauges showing and now it won't load at all. (shows it as being loaded but cannot be found anywhere on the system) I have it installed now as above by direct copy and paste but no gauges still. The B-2…

Since I didn't find a fix I created one for each of the two.You should not check the DX10 preview. It is for DX9.0.Copy the *.bmp files to each texture folder.Have fun.Hartwighttp://www.hartwig-rohrbeck.de/Download/b25_fsxacfix.ziphttp://www.hartwig-rohrbeck.de/Download/tbm_fsxacfix.zip

Hi,I finally did one of the best things I could and that was registering my copy of FSUIPC by Pete Dowson to take benefit of all the possibilities of programming and calibrating any device to use with the MS flight simulator. Also, yesterday I received my CH Products Throttle Quadrant (CHTQ) and though my PC is now under repair, I hope to have it running perfectly in short. In the meantime, I am reading in detail the user and advanced user manuals of FSUIPC to save future time programming the axes and buttons of the CHTQ, as those of my yoke and pedals were quite easy with FSUIPC.The first aircraft I plan to fly when I have my PC back is the MAAM DC3 and I would like to pr…
