How or where can the ASA or ASE License Key be found? I believe I was one of those that upgraded to ASE without additional cost.Unable to locate previous email of License Key.

I have been an Active Sky & Evolution customer for years. I'm trying to be 2012 customer, however after about two hours of frustration, I really don't know what to do. 1.) I can't locate License Key or Order Number for ASA. I upgraded to ASE without charge a couple of years ago. 2.) I can't finish the 2012 installation because I can't locate the License Key.3.) I can't logon to request another License Key because I can't find the Order number. I thought I bought ASA from Simmarket, but a check of history reveals that wasn't the case. If not Simmarket, then where else could it be ? As I said, I can't logon to HiFi because the Order number. I really could use some…

Morning all,Well ive downloaded AS2012, installed it with the latest fsuipc suggested, entered the key and everything went perfectly smooth, fired up AS and like the new gui and thunder sound i was greeted with, had a quick look around the options and left them all at default values, got a wx report for LGAV, installed wx based textures and fired up FSX. Weather injected straight away, panned around and WOW! Beautifull clouds and sparkling water so i couldnt wait to get the NGX into the active sky and when i did i felt this time i was actually flying through the clouds, fps stayed high and very smooth. Graphics are very nice and FSX no longer looks like the simpsons open…

Hello and thank you for the beautiful program!After a few flights I can say it truly brings the weather simulation in FSX to a new level.A quick question with regards to loading the weather in FSX - when I load the FSX after AS2012 (usually via the "Start FSX" button) the weather is not being set as it should on the departure airport. All settings and the brand new FSUIPC are configured. As well I use flight plan for that matter and hitting refresh button back in AS2012 does not update the weather in the sim.If I start the FSX first and load the simulation (plane and airport) and then launch the AS2012 the weather appears as it should. Before bying AS2012, is there any limitaion in using ti with FSBUILD?I use FSBUILD for Flightplanning and up to now I used ASE in order to have correct Aloft in the flightplanning. This is still possible with AS2012?

I'm flying most ot the time with historical weather. Because my departure times are always given as local time I have to load the flight plan first, then download the historical weather and finally load the flight plan again to install the weather-influenced textures.It would be nice to have an option to install the weather-influenced textures after downloading historical weather so I do not have to load the flight plan twice. Do you need to uninstall ASE (that I current have) and then install AS2012 or is AS2012 automatically install over old ASE replacing the old version

I must be a little think concerning Snapshots. I never understood their purpose. I was hoping someone could explain the benefits. What is the difference in loading snapshots versus not and letting 2012/ASE run during the flight?I am currently running ASE/REX and do plan to install 2012.

I usually run AS on a separate monitor and have never been able to re-size the interface window or even maximize it to get full use of my screen. Can this been done and if so how? It would sure make reading the text easier.Thanks,Robert

I have installed AS2012 and used it for a couple of flights thus far however, I seem to be suffering from some graphics corruption during the weather downloads/synthesis. I still have the green and red text messages showing on screen telling me what is going on and it seems that during the download of Wx information from new stations or when updated information is being downloaded the top 1/3 of my screen becomes scrambled and frame rates drop into the low teens or even single digits. I am in the process of installing "randomized" textures. The process seems kind of slow and I was wondering if I could use a SSD that is separate from FSX to store textures. I run 2012 on a networked machine, FSX is installed on a "C" drive on another machine and I have an empty SSD at the moment.Can I install on another dirve and if so, how?Thanks,

As I see a lot of questions about installing AS2012, and as I've just made the installation without any problem, if I can help, here my experience (with W 7 - 64 bits) :- read the AS2012 user's guide, at least the introduction- download FSUIPC 4.751 and change the .dll file of your own FSUIPC (registered) with the 4.751 one- launch FSX and verify FSUIPC correctly installed (top menu bar of FSX)- quit FSX and download AS2012- unzip the files and install AS2012 (as2012.exe file) on any of your hard disks, due to necessary space for AS2012. You can choose a different disk than FSX (for me : F:\Program Files (x86)\HiFi\....., as FSX and ASE are on C:\)- launch AS2012 : it wil…

I currently own ASE on one computer with windows XP and have FSX installed on another comuter with Windows 7 64 bit. Will I be able to install AS2012 on this second computer? Does AS2012 check my computer for ASE?Thanks,Eric

Just a quickie - took AS2012 for a short test flight after installing. Just the basics so far, but man, is it ever nice! I installed some new runway and concrete textures and wow! What a difference. I think this will be a real winner guys. Great work!
