Nice morning for a flight around Mount St. Helens with Mount Rainier in the background. I picked up the SD version of True Earth Oregon and Washington in the last ORBX sale and I have to say they are fun for some GA flying. Perhaps a little region-sized taste of what MSFS will bring. Thanks for looking.

Sky Lease Cargo getting ready at their hub in Miami International. Excellent repaint done courtesy of Enko (many thanks!) Not so sure about the species of trees and the buildings near the airport lol! Oh well with the big iron, its more about the plane and the tarmac anyway. (reasonably accurate airports).Do you know, I've not really posted thanks to Ray Smith: A lot of the freeware airports in my sim are by Ray. Enjoy!

It’s a beautiful early autumn morning in Twin Lakes, when I was asked to ferry some liquid supplies to Tatlayoko Lake. They pay for my fuel, so who am I to resist? Over Chaunigan Lake Lodge Near Tsuniah Lake Bay Over the airstrip of Chilko Lake Lodge Behind the plane is Lake Choelquoit I’m getting closer to Lake Tatlayoko The airstrip is supposed to run right next to the small road. Oh well… Strange, nobody here to pick up the booze. That gives me an idea. Luckily, I always…

Today, in the FW Library, I happened to catch two interesting Full-Rigged Tallships. These two (sailing) ships belong to a collection of Global AI Ship Traffic package, and are customized to make them pilotable. Ships are always fascinating! Throughout the history, they have been associated with a unique sense of adventure starting from the Age of Discovery (15th-17th century). Prior to the 19th century, trans-atlantic crossings were undertaken in sailing ships (of the types in this post). The speed of such ships in the 1700s depended on the wind, but averaged only about 5 to 10 knots. So, the journeys were time consuming and perilous - taking weeks. And, of course, …

Now that Just Flight's VFR Real 3D Scotland is out, I have all the mainland UK in photoreal. Note that Prestwick & Edinburgh are the cut-down free versions, but I do have several of their payware airports! I decided to take a quick trip before my evening meal (you can see 17:51 on the clock - actual UK time during my flight). Not exactly the best weather for VFR across Scotland, but it got slightly better at Prestwick. The 114 is a pretty little GA 4 seater, and the view in the late sunshine was worthy of the £200 hamburger! 😉 Enjoy.

Time for N542KD to take a break (C-check I believe). Departing PHNL in the early hours, bound for Western Global's maintenance, reapair, overhaul facility at KSHV. FSX NOTAM - no idea why the BRAKES caption is on. Perhaps I'd hit the brakes when taking a screenshot! The sunrise beckons, as does many miles flying over the Pacific. At last, the west coast of the USA. Lovely afternoon at FL400 Being vectored for visual on RWY32 A bit hazy on the approach however! A firm touchdown, but still.. :) Taxiing to the MRO. The building looked bigger in the brochure! hehe. Ahh.. all her b…

I love mountain flying (in good weather only!), so this flight is in Nepal. Starting point is Lukla, from where we head west along the Indian-Nepalese border. Of course we don't follow roads, but fly a more direct course 😊 Ortho4XP, Source: Bing at ZL 16 This is ZL16 and looks pretty decent. I just try to imagine, how this would look in the upcoming MFS with ZL19 Thanks for viewing
