The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Now this was an eye-opener. This is exactly what I'd been hoping for with MSFS. Places like this were almost universally ignored previously, default (poor) sim landscape and just the very occasional mediocre airport. I've no idea of the accuracy of the representation, but to me this is stunning! I really feel like I have the chance to see all sorts of interesting places around the world now and see them with credibility. Big thanks to MS / Asobo. Oh, and the lighting! Just incredible. First few were a really early start and then I moved the clock on a few hours Not a fan of VR, but I'm seriously considering a hug…

After Teheran yesterday, thought I'd check out Ben Gurion and Tel Aviv. Again, no idea about the accuracy but well impressed.

Pretty impressed with the lighting on the ramp, although the person who plugged that GPU in is a total noob. That'd fall out with the cable hanging like that. 🤣 Here's some of the real thing for comparison:

Hi all, I used to post screenshots of FSX here many years ago, alas, eventually I lost interest and been waiting for the next big sim to arrive. It looks like that has finally happened. So let me share a few screenshots of a short flight I did around KLAX during dusk. I am still reeling on how beautiful this next gen sim looks. We're all in for a treat. All unedited shots but resized from original 3440x1440. Enjoy the view. Shortly after push back: Taxing towards runway, in the background you can see another player, they just took off in a 747 and doing a sharp turn just after takeoff. Cleared by ATC for entering runway. Full power for tak…

Out of Key West and up to Marathon. Love this. Undecided at this point whether or not I prefer it to ORBX's TE in XP - both are pretty impressive. But this is built in to the base sim! Pretty awful landing. Too busy staring at the scenery <grin>

Well... I can see the screenshots forum filling up with MSFS pics 😉 I think I'll wait out the huberious until my fav planes and such make it over to MSFS, could be years really... In the mean time I'll enjoy P3D and the many great planes I have for it. Like the A2A C182 - one of my fav planes, certainly doens't "fly one rails" and is vastly different handling beast once fully loaded, plus without maintanence will break and can cause the plane to fall out of the sky or force you to go looking for a road / field to put it down in a hurry. Parked @ 4S1 Flying into 4S1 - I'm trialing some different screenshot methods Ameri…

I guess this is my third day with the new sim and theres still a lot to learn and a lot to find but its coming along nicely. I'm amazed that this is all default. Is it just me or is it actually crisper at lower altitudes?

Yep! No more. Nothing else to see. The Fat Lady has finished her song in Courchevel! En route from Chambery.. Oh no.. You're not seriously...?? Yes. It's my sim and I'll bloody well fly what I want, where I want.. Let's just say the arrival was NOT pretty, it just sort of happened... I know the big girl needs a lot of rudder to persuade her in the turns, but once she's down to 95 knots or so, I failed to appreciate just HOW much rudder and yoke movement is needed! "Hoskins! Did you feel that cheeky little gust throwing us off on the camber? ", "No, Captain I didn't, not a thing..", "Harsh, Hoskins, very harsh! …

Hi, everybody! Today I went on a longhaul flight with the AS A330 and wrote a tripreport about it. DLH 594 EDDF/FRA (Frankfurt am Main/Germany) -> DNAA/ABV (Abuja/Nigeria) Airbus Industrie A330-300 D-AIKO, MSN 989 While we are just getting to our aircraft, the handler is already loading the food for the almost 6 hours flight into the Airbus. While the IRS is alligning, we can take a look at the OFP. Here is a short overview for the air traffic controllers: We take off on Frankfurts Runway 25C, then turn south to follow the ANEKI departure. From there, we actually just continue south, across the Black Forest, the Swiss and Italian Alps, Genoa, t…

The atmospherics and lighting really are second to none in this sim. Sorry for the HUD in the way, I was just hitting the PrtScn button as I flew along.

Just some randoms from a NZ flight NZTG-NZAA, Aircraft performs good, G1000 is the same as P3d/FSX, Sounds are dreadful compared to MSFS default A/C, Textures inside the VC are quite good, and outside are the impeccable Carenado HD standard. Is it worth it. Not really. Flight dynamics are notably more stable than default and feels heavier than the C172, I`m not disappointed with the aircraft, it`s just lacking that zing this flight simulator gives us. First shot was from NZQN the day before. Cheers Rick
