The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

I was flying around over Norfolk and I flipped on my landing lights and was very pleasantly surprised. I was already thinking how gorgeous the night lighting was but my landing lights lighting up the haze really took it to a whole nutha level 🙂 as Key and/or Peele would say. wish I couldve taken better pictures of the overall scene but you get the point I hope.

The FIGAS Islander parts warehouse required a re-stock so time to deliver some on a non stop flight from EGVN to EGYP. About 15 hours or so flight time to the Falklands. An RAF Voyager IRL recently did a non-stop flight rather than landing at Ascension Island so I thought I'd have a go with what I have. FSX NOTAM - the flight did actually take about 15 hours so the sim was reasonably accurate FWIW, even with a freeware jet. Taking off from Brize at zero dark thirty! Climbing out. One can see the Milky Way.. just Over the Canaries - Mount Teide poking above the clouds. Tenerife Sud airport …

[Note: This is a (RW) story, I find hard to forget,...which is probably well-known to most of us. Way back, in 1993, it was made into a (gripping) TV-movie, (the movie was, however, not very successful, and, perhaps a bit over-dramatized, but, remarkably effective, I must say)...I recall seeing "Mercy Mission: the Rescue of Flight 771" first time around the time of its release, long before I got interested in Aviation, as a hobby, so, I must admit, when I saw it the first time, frankly, I couldn't have identified, in advance, either the Cessna-188 or the DC-10 (the two planes involved, in this story, whose lives would be intertwined, somewhere over the vast Pacific Ocean,…
