The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

This was a reasonably successful port over. Flies ok, take off and land ok, looks and sounds ok, but no instruments. Will be nice for an occasional outing. Just a few over Honolulu - It is in this picture, but you have to look hard to find it It'll be nice if some of these old planes get a makeover and a re-release for this sim. Alway's liked this one.

A few randoms from recent experiments, starting with a couple of rainy / misty shots around Marseille which led me to my first rainbow! A couple of the freeware photogrammetry (is that right?) Monaco. Didn't seem to look as good on my system as in the video for it - and although it looks fantastic from a little ways up it doesn't work for me down at rooftop level. But I'll keep an eye on it, it's a WIP apparently Here's a DH60 ported over to MSFS - these last two are in the Camargue, which will be the next bit of my Provencal journey That'll do for now - enjoy!

It was a beautiful morning for a flight from Camarillo to Tacoma Narrows. The morning began clear, but clouds steadily increased along the route. Route: KCMA DERBB J7 REBRG Q9 SUMMA KTIW Fuel Burned: 536 lbs Time En Route: 3:11 The Camarillo Airport was originally a military base from 1951 until 1969. It reopened as a general aviation airport in 1976. On final RNav Rwy 35 approach The ORBX scenery does a good job evoking a sense of place.

Found it! my favorite Idaho bush landing strip to scare passengers and crash! It's not in the game as a departure/arrival airport like with Orbx NRM unfortunately, but it is depicted and landable. I love the sound of a stall horn in the morning! Start off at the Vines landing strip in Idaho near McCall, and head west along Big Creek. If I have some ambition in the next couple days, I might film a quick video guide. If you want to practice bush landings, this whole area is fantastic.

Hopefully some memories for a fellow simmer! Apparently, this was an occasional visitor to Calgary, and could cause a certain amount of excitement as it came in over the golf course at the end of the runway. I wonder if this was where plus-fours were invented? <grin> A seemingly busy airport Unfortunately, the undercarriage seems to have a mind of its own in this portover. I didn't touch anything (honest!) but it came down with the wheels up. Hope they've got a real big crane here.

P3D v5.HF2 ...along the Flordia Keys...heading towards Miami. 3,500 FT ASL ------------------------------------------------------------- [TERRAIN] TEXTURE_SIZE_EXP=10 What a difference...wow! Some have complained about this title's jagged water masking and shoreline....WHAT? WHERE?!?!?? Perhaps on their system...and a local system issue, but certainly not on mine! ...and until MSFS steps upto the plate on realistic shallow water depth, and coral...algae, TE-Florida and P3D is killing it! This truly looks fabulous, Orbx....great job! Great job! I personally believe that this TE title is the best all-round performing one out t…

I'd previously posted about a short test-flight with my Learjet-35A off Tallinn Airport's Runways (08/26), but, I didn't have a chance to explore the airport and its vicinity. The city of Tallinn is the capital and the most populous city of Estonia, a country located on the eastern coast of the Baltic Sea in Northern Europe. The airport (EETN) is just adjacent to Tallinn Bay, on the shore of the Gulf of Finland. So, please find, below, a set of images taken in and around this airport. Nordica (airline) is Estonia's state-owned flag carrier (see one image shown) based at Tallinn airport. Hope you enjoy the tour of this nice, but little-visited (in the SIM) airpor…

Shalom and greetings all my pals, Presenting a beautiful commuter flight New Zealand style from NZDN Dunedin Airport approximately 22 kilometres south west of Dunedin to NZCH Christchurch Airport located in the suburb of Harewood 7.5 miles to the northwest of the city centre of Christchurch. Passengers boarding through gate one jetway Jetway disconnecting from the plane You can tell from the tail of the plane that it is in middle of pushback Checking through windows of the terminal to see if there is any late passenger running to gate 1 before starting engines (yeah we offer extra personal service) Starting r…

This was a fun group flight with the famous Mr @Bert Pieke @Ron Attwood and some other amazing people. I hadn't explored this area of the world yet. A flight from CYVR - CYPS with a stop at CYSE. I started the pics at CYSE. This is a very iconic area and you may see some areas you've visited in real life! The terrain is only "slightly" different than here in MN, USA. The best flight on the A32NX mod yet. I didn't take any shots on the departure out of Chicago, I was enjoying the new FSDT scenery there. The atmospherics of this sim will be phenomenal once winds and interaction of the weather with the aircraft get sorted out. At least the visual representation of live weather is getting much better now. The icing effects are definitely needing some tweaking though 😆
