Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/

Fort Lauderdale Executive, FL, -----> to Myrtle Beach, SC aboard the Cessna C4: Finally got MSFS to run actually quite beautifully, with no more Kamikaze Cockpits, and all features turned back on...enjoy the flight! 🙂 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dawn breaking over Ft. Leg two of my trip across the U.S. was slightly more eventful. I departed Portland at 5:46 A.M. with clear skies and a beautiful sunrise. Clouds continued to build enroute to Santa Barbara, and the METAR for KSBA showed a ceiling of 600 feet! Luckily, I broke out of the soup at a bit over 1,000 feet AGL on ILS runway 7. The flight duration from wheels up to touchdown was 3:58. KPDX/10L CASCD2 DSD DCT LMT DCT KAGYE V25 GARSA T261 MOVDD DCT PXN T329 MQO DCT GVO KSBA/GVO.I07

The first leg of my journey across the United States was a short ride from Tacoma Washington to Portland International. The flight plan was straightforward with a direct course to HELNS and arriving via the HELNS6 arrival. I avoided the clouds during the middle of my climb to 9,000 feet; the air temperature was conducive to icing, and I don't have a TKS anti-ice system! I burned nine gallons of fuel on the 53 minute trip. Getting ready to leave on the ramp at KTIW Cruising above the clouds A blinding approach into Portland

  6. Not much to see on this leg where we finally!! arrive at Karachi. Taxiing out at Dubai No pax to get upset about a max climbout... at 67 knots! Head across the UAE to get out into the Persian Gulf. Then hug (not quite) the Iranian coast, heading east until we reach Karachi, Pakistan. Jask Airport, Iran off the port wing. Low cloud at about 2000 feet and haze approaching Karachi. I should be able to get under it.. Underneath the clouds yet Karachi ATIS is saying 100 feet overcast.. LIES I tell you. LIES! To humour the tower and not cause an international incident …

Everyday is a great day for a practice approach. I took some pics flying the VOR RWY 36 KFCM - this takes me south of the Minneapolis area, over the town of Shakopee and near Prior Lake and back NE. I then did a pretty tight circle to land (to a low approach) RWY 10R, then outbound for another radar approach. Departing RWY 10R, then we'll turn southwest to join the FCM215R outbound Untitled by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr View from Flying Cloud Drive - looks like my drive to work! 11. I happened to catch sight of these two nice Freeware Aircraft, today, and took them out to my (virtual) Summer Resort Airport...🙂...Stewart (British Columbia), CZST, a charming locality tucked away in the middle of the beautiful mountains, near the Pacific Coastline of British Columbia (and, for me, this is a local (Orbx) scenery, I've not visited in a year maybe, but, always, aware of it...). Also, this post is a bit of a follow-up to my (previous) de Havilland / de Havilland Canada post, this DHC2 model, here, being one of the first (and most) successful utility bush-aircraft produced by DHC, as part of their post-WWII civilian fleet initiative, that found world-wide us…

Flew out of YMML, headed towards the city but then, as usual, thought I'd beam down for a look 'round Looks like a school, perhaps? Nice bit of rolling landscape down here As usual, impressed by the detail (look in the windows) Balconies rule! A little bit further in Looks like some nice places to live And finally, way out on the edge of town, there was this It really looks like it's out in the middle of the outback but the whole Melbourne city environment is just the other side of that hill behind the house (exit stage left, with theme t…

Just a few snaps from some late night trips over recent days. First up, as I'm sure you realised (<grin>) is a small apartment block on the outskirts of Brasilia. Brasilia itself was a bit disappointing, but as I was flying away I spotted some interesting looking places on the outskirts and went to take a look. I love the level of (probably inaccurate, but hey) detail here, like the leaf/snow trap mesh on the edge of the roof. And you know me, I do like a nice balcony! A quartet from Hollywood. I'm guessing that's Tower Records' old building just behind the tail? The Hollywood Reservoir. If you've got a big monitor and blow this up full screen yo…

I was experimenting with my LOD settings, and happened to do so on a visit to Toronto. Never been in RL, but I've got some nice addons in XP so was keen to see this version. Glad I came, it's absolutley magic. This is with basic photogrammetry turned off, and with Romandesign's Toronto extras package installed. All 4k ultra settings, with LOD and OBJECTLOD set up to 9. FPS drops away but I don't care, still smooth enough for sightseeing! Now that looks like a nice little hidey-hole! Not sure about that pair of big buildings in the middle there Ah, a hideaway with its own local shoe store and boutique! (crazy detail again) …

Out of Key West, on the way to Marathon, you'll pass this place. Talk about out of the way "Hey, I wonder who lives down there?" "Hey, I wonder who that is up there?" And on we go . . . I've always been fascinated by this highway route. Never been down there though so it's great to be able to visit this way (although I have to say I prefer XP and Orbx's TrueEarth for this region at the moment)

  19. Since the earliest days of my exposure to aviation (as a "hobby"), the de Havilland name, has always conjured up images of (storied) aviation history probably like no other manufacturer (and, of course, the unimaginable tragedy of personal and emotional loss, Geoffrey de Havilland had to endure, for the cause and advancement of aviation, is hard to find a parallel for...). He was a keen "entomologist"...so, he named many of his planes accordingly, most famous of which, was the (early) "Moth" series. In (part of) this post, I've (briefly) portrayed another of DH's insect, the "Mosquito". The original DH company was founded in 1920, on the outskirts of north London, but, a …

So despite all the bugs I've encountered with most of the aircraft so far in msfs 2020, I'm still having a ton of fun with the TBM at least as it has given me zero issues other than overcompensating even worse since patch 2 in FLC mode. Here's my flight "tonight" (real time over there though) from Paderborn to Hamburg. This is at cruise near a storm in the area, and then on approach. Gorgeous approach with the clouds and the windfarm at one point. Only wish I had HDR for this. Sim is running 1440p most settings at high and a few at Ultra including clouds. Locked to max of 40 in NCP, and with the glass cockpit setting now in the sim and set to medium I don't dip belo…
