The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

[Note: First of all, glad to see so many, here, enjoying the beauty of the New SIM, adding new excitement to "this" Screenshots forum (myself, too, enjoying, on the sidelines, by watching these posts...!). BTW, I've now two Screenshot Forums to keep up with...🙂....(It's such a pleasure to also examine the fascinating pictures being uploaded daily on the MSFS Screenshots Forum). Of course, like many here with their pre-existing "beloved" planes, I've my (own) share of Classics (PMDG MD11/JS41.., CS 727/737/707.., TFDi 717, iFly 744, AS DC8...etc.) that I love and fly regularly, and, so, I know we may have to be a bit patient, here, because, to expect "everything" we desire…

I tried this once in P3D, even with ORBX Global and Vector installed, it wasn’t really that special. My next attempt was photoscenery for XP11, with even worse results; and it didn't matter, whether I used Google, Bing, USA2 or anything else. It was all horrible.. So I gave up on it. This is now my third attempt and it looks much better, although we still need an improved mesh. But I know that I complain here on a fairly high level 😉 We’ll start with real weather on the south-eastern side of the peninsula at Yelizovo, will fly along some nice mountain area and will land on its north-western side in Palana, a small settlement with a population of around 3,200 people (…

I know this area quite well from flights in the ORBX FSX/P3D scenery, so I was eager to see, how this would look in default MSFS. I’m pleasantly surprised. Remember the famous goat track in ORBX Tapini? It’s here too 😊 Woitape comes up Thanks for viewing

I flew from Orbx' KSBA to Halfmoon Bay. The TBM930 flies quite nicely and seems to be reliable, and the G3000 is usable enough. (I know others pointed out flaws in turboprop modelling, and I know the avionics are incomplete, but the flight went easy and no problems occured). I used live weather. Both clouds and wind (about 5 knots, southeast) were like MeteoBlue's forecast on their website and close to METAR report. (Despite the southeast wind, I decided for runway 30 because ... well, breakfast with my wife is waiting, so I was too lazy for traffic pattern...)

I still have an old scenery of this in FSX and P3D, so thought I'd go see in the new world. Looking good . . . Like everything else I've seen so far, I'd have paid money for this level of detail as an add-on for the likes of P3D or XP
