The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

[Here, in this post, and the images, below, I pick up, where I left off, in my Part I, having (already) turned eastward, from Rome, across the Apennines Mountains and the Adriatic Sea, towards Istanbul VOR (IST)...in the same livery of FedEx, the largest freight operator of the A300...] From my early FSX days, I recall the ~(4000nm/5000nm) trips, I used to "regularly" make, diligently, following the North Atlantic (or the Pacific Tracks). Since then, like many of us, as life and its priorities have advanced, also, interrupted by my several years of break from SIM, my flight distances have got shorter and shorter...500nm tops, at the current time, even if I fly a jet…

With COVID 19 still at large and a rigid travel ban effective, air traffic has nearly come to a halt in Greece. So here´s a look back iinto better times in autum of 2019. Let´s follow an Olympic Dash 8-100 on the short hop from LGKR Ioannis Kapodistrias airport on the island of Corfu to LGAV Eleftherios Venizelos airport in Athens.

Just in time for a Christmas Eve buy, A2A's just released for 64 bit P3D platforms, the B17G. I never flew the B17G in FSX and have been longing for it to be ported over for the x64 P3D sims And a pleasent surprise it is too, a very interactive and talkative crew, and a plane that doesn't fly without consequences as i soon found out. Shortly after take off a fire starts in the No. 2 engine. Was i pushing the engines? yep! wanted to see what would happen. My co-pilot warned me but I didn't listen. Looks nasty. Managed to get the fire out and the engine restarted while in flight and heading back to the airport. Looks like the fir…

A few screen shots from recent flights: Climbing out of EGPN heading to EIDW Departing KBUR in the CJ4... ...and the A320Neo, both flights using the great community mods we have available to us from Working Title and Fly By Wire respectively. A few shots of a rainy night approach into EIDW...I took these shots thinking of a question that was asked in the MSFS forum about why tubeliner pilots enjoy MSFS I love how airports in MSFS generally don't stick out like an unrealistic sore thumb...find the runway. Finally a few shots on the ramp at Iqaluit (CYFB) testing out the new snow f…

Can't wait to log some quality hours in one of my favorite WWII birds! This is an FSX repaint from Jan Kees Blom that works fine in P3Dv5! I've seen the Nine-O-Nine many times. It often flew over my home in central MA when it was making it's tours around the country. Sadly, she was lost in 2019 in a crash at Bradley field in CT. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nine-O-Nine I visited her in Worcester, MA - here's some screen shots in the sim on the tarmac at KORH. They just don't make nostalgia like that anymore! Thanks A2A! Best, sg

I've not tried this before, but this is a cut and paste from a post I did over on the Orbx forum. I think it's about to get removed from there due to too many non-Orbx shots, so I thought I'd try this as a quick way to post it here instead. I think I'll probably just post here now anyway, I get fed up trying to remember whose scenery I'm flying over and whether it's ok to post there, especially as MSFS has really removed the urge for me to concentrate on flying over specific scenery products.

Living in Dallas and sitting right between KDFW and Love Field, I get my share of airline flights directly overhead. When Dallas is favoring the north runways, I'm literally a stone's throw away (well....a few hundred yards..but you know) from the waypoint STONZ in the very popular BRDJE arrival from the North East. The aircraft turn directly over my house (well almost) and with binocs....watching them and knowing they are at 11000 feet is really cool to see them crank it to the left to enter the downwind. And over at Love, they are only a few thousand feet when they go over. I decided to replicate the approach, and although the approach is for turbojets only.…

I think that all of us, who have the ORBX Milford scenery for FSX/P3D, have tried to land at Quintin Lodge’s narrow airstrip. I have started doing this with a Cub, then a 172 and finally with the An 2 Anushka. Although she is fairly big, she is also very slow, which gives you sufficient time to line her up properly. When Milford was released as freeware for MSFS, Quintin Lodge was missing from that package. This has changed recently with a separate download for this airstrip. The developer suggested why not try to land there with the default TBM 930 for a change. As the TBM is my favorite aircraft in MSFS, this is exactly what I am going to try this time. The b…

Been getting into MSFS2020 more by way of the SkyPark! Here's a delivery of counterfeit jeans from KMLF to KLAS (this is FlyTampa KLAS v1.2, great performance!). The trip across southern Utah into Nevada and Arizona never fails to impress!
