The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Again, varying degrees of success. More work to be done on a couple of these but some will definitely get used. I hope Milviz gets their T-38 done for MSFS, it doesn't want to convert, but this will do for visuals (virtavia version) This one I'm really pleased about. Northrop XP-56 freeware - great for zipping around in! Another old friend - Another Fugly friend And a couple of American fellows - Some Brits - this has got an almost working cockpit The 225's baby sister And this needs a bit of work, but if I can sort it out it is a wonderful thing for thoise African jaunts

None of these are perfect, and they vary in controllability, but it is nice to have them available until new ones come along. I know there is a Typhoon out there already, but it doesn't tempt me enough over my own portover. Oh what fun it is!

Here's two brand new paints. I decided to create a little paint kit of my own (Mooney paint kit from Rob at WorkingTitle) and painted some new colors on the Carenado Seminole. We're very limited with liveries but I hope you enjoy these ones. A few pics from a long flight across Africa. My Beech King Air was positioned at FBNG (Mombo Camp Airfield, Botswana) following a cargo flight from Angola, but with no cargo jobs nearby to FBNG, and wishing to get over to my newly-constructed cargo centre at HTDA (Dar-Es-Salam, Tanzania) so I could fly some more lucrative base-to-base jobs between Dar-es-Salam and FMMI (Ivato, Madagascar), this meant flying all the way across a large part of Africa with the cargo hold empty, taking in Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi and Tanzania along the way. The good point about this however, was that in flying direct, I realised I would be following the Zambezi River for quite some …

Every year on January 1, I find it worthwhile to look at the Top 100 Downloads of the past year...So, e.g. I looked into Flightsim.Com, to see what my fellow-simmers have considered (most) worthwhile to pick up, during last year. Two files, there, in the Library, of course, among many others, caught my attention, today: The not-often-seen-here (Classic) B747-100 variant (BTW, JF's (current) 747 Classic Version includes the -100 variant, and their (upcoming) new and much-improved 747 Classic seems to be coming along well with the right mindset and approach. I read today, "As we near completion of the 747 Classic systems and avionics coding (no small task on this mig…

I re-did my flight from YAYE to YSSY with a successful outcome, so here are the screenshots as I approached Sydney. The FMC acted a bit strange - to me anyway, but I'll probably pose the question in the flight planning forum. I suspect it is down to my lack of understanding. I didn't have the plan loaded into FSX itself so I did not have ATC vectoring me around. I just wanted to see the FMC in action and deal with the fact that the 146-100 doesn't have a VNAV autopilot function. Here I am, following some kind of descent profile for an approach to RWY34L. I ended up landing with a bit of a tailwind as, by the time I got to Sydney, the METAR had changed. I left the F…

....Okay the livery is silly but it's the paint kit I'm working on. Again, Mr Rob from WT helped me find my error in my folder structure to allow for this new Seminole paintkit to function. Anyway this will lead to potential new liveries for the Seminole yay! test by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr Ok that one is boring... but now we're moving onto the real fun ! orangeblack by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr
