The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Originally for XP10, the SMS Beaver had reemerged in fine shape for V11.51. Now I have two - if one was female, I could start a lodge.

B787-10 and A350-1000 are two of the largest/longest and most ultra-modern long-haul (wide-body) twin-jet commercial (passenger) airplanes flying today. Add to that the (upcoming) B777-X (X=8,9) Series, first flight of which occurred Jan 25, 2020, and we've really an impressive group of (massive) passenger airliners, at a time, when, for pax transport, the 4-engine (passenger) jets, eventhough modern, are (already) beginning to fall out-of-favor, with Airlines. Now, there are multiple (complex) factors used in comparative analysis of such jetliners, but, it's curious, and a bit of fun, too, to examine an overly simplistic metric, the "length". If one considers these (belo…

One of my more successful port-overs of the last week's efforts. I was planning to head out of Murmansk (ULMM) and head down to Archangel (ULAA), but got a CTD not too long after heading out. Don't know whether that was down to the portover or the fact that I tend to do a lot of speeding up and slowing down the sim rate when I do this sort of flight. If I'm pootling around low n'slow and admiring the scenery I tend to let the sim run at normal speed, and just occasionally pause to play with the drone, but in these beasts there's too much of nothing going on for an impatient guy like me. I dare say if I was actually attempting to fly the thing (you know, using all those fu…

Blue leaving New York...for greener and freer pastures. I wish Asobo would fix the airport with better gates, gate numbers and docking at all terminals. Thanks for viewing, Darryl

I waited many years for Mega Rio for FSX and later P3D. The latest P3Dv4v by Paolo was excellent, but MSFS takes any scenery to another level. The lighting and atmosphere always makes me go WOW! Here's some pics with the latest Rio Mod: Jose

By coincidence I saw a nice video showing a Spitfire and Fw 190, which both belong to a small German museum up in Usedom, a Baltic Sea island on Germany’s north-eastern coast. Here is a link to the video. The sound alone is already a treat. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CDeglorsv_8&ab_channel=PaddyPatrone And in case you are interested, here’s a link to the museum’s English website. Amazingly, all their planes are in fully flyable condition. https://hangar10.de/en/exhibition/ Luckily I have ported over both planes to MSFS, so here are a few pics, flying around this airport “Heringsdorf”. We’ll start with the Classics Hangar Focke Wu…
