The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Okay, the plan was to make the first sim flight of 2021 be a 'nice little earner' for my Madagascar-based Air Hauler 2 MSFS company - Indian Trader... 'So, you'll pay me nearly 25 Grand to fly 3,380 lbs of cigarettes to a small airfield about 800 miles to the north west of here so long as they arrive in less than 31 hours, that about right Chief?' 'That's right...' 'Okay then, I'm your man.' So then, that's a fully loaded Beech 350 departing from a 4,000 foot runway which is 1,150 feet above sea level and there is no fuel available at the departure or arrival airport, then flying to Selinda just south of the Zambezi, which is at an elevation of 3,100 f…

This aircraft is special for me, it has always represented the "test aircraft" of my FS9 environment upgrades. For 10 years. And it still continues to fly today. Thanks Learjet! 💖

One again going back in time to see some of the old props. Here´s a purely fictional scene featuring a Northwest Lockheed Model 10 Electra at KHQM Bowerman airport. I can´t help but these old workhorses are fascinating to me.

Again, back in Greece and back in time. These shots take us back in time to the summer of 1996 (hence the bad image quality 🙂) and LGIR Iraklion (Greek for Heraklion) airport on the mediterranean isle of Crete. Olympic Airways A300B4, reg. SX-BEI, named Neoptolemos, unloads its load of sunseeking tourists. For planespotting enthusiasts, SX-BEI joined the Olympic fleet in May 1982 and was sold to French company L´Aéropostale in spring of 1999, where it received its new registration F-GOZC.

Today I was going to try a flight out in my newly repainted 146-100 (thank you @hodge001 Lovely job!) private jet from Connellan Airport to Sydney using a flightplan input into the FMC. I managed to successfully input this, including an appropriate STAR (after checking the YSSY METAR) so I was feeling quite pleased with myself. There doesn't appear to be any SIDs that I could find for YAYE, nor does the FMC appear to have any in its database (Navigraph subscription, so any SIDs "should" be there). Please correct me if I'm wrong. Here's G-W4GN with ground power attached as it''ll take me some time to mess with the FMC..... Don't want to burn any fuel until it's requ…

Yesterday it was nice weather into Norfolk but today...not so much... yesterday: today: In the past several days I've seen really good shoreline waves and really good rain and windshield effects. This sim may not be perfect but its worth quite a lot.

This is a follow-up post to my earlier one from a (virtual) visit of "Alderney" - the small 3 square miles island, that is the 3rd-largest of the Channel Islands archipelago in the English Channel, off the North West coast of France. "Aurigny" is also the French word for the island of Alderney. Alderney is the northernmost of the (8) inhabited Channel Islands. It may be a (little-known) tiny island, but it packs a punch, in term of spectacularly natural beauty, with breathtakingly rugged cliffs and coastlines (see images), and, of course, because of its strategic location, an abundance of history (ancient and modern, of kings and castles...etc.). Alderney's 2000 (or so) …
