The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Thanks to Steve Dra I know can fly over my old territory in a proper Marine Corps jet. Well it's not a T-45 but close enough! I was just a corporal in the Marines but I always envied the Harrier pilots!!!

I thought this was funny... Predicament 1, icing, first time for me in the new sim. One minute my screens were clear...I zoom in on my GNS to try and get some data (man they need to improve that) and when I look back, my screens are covered in ice. So I decide to drop down and make the shortest route to the airport because I was nearly there anyway. crazy flying gets me down pretty quick and I get busy paying attention to the person directing me in that I didnt noticed I created predicament 2 for the push back guy. No actual heads were lost during the photoshoot.

Not as good as the payware option that I had in P3D, but for freeware enhancements not too shabby. Freeware NTAA Freeware NTTP I'm sure these treasured islands will be enhanced further by ASOBO and our talented creators in the future. Jose

A huge thanks to Rob over at the WorkingTitle team for making a neat way to repaint Carenado's plane. It's just a little paint chip square that easily allows for changing colors of the four base designs. I've got a couple color schemes I've implemented. Here's a quick test flight from Santa Monica to Van Nuys CA (Oops I'm apparently borrowing the N number from my Citation Longitude....I work for the FAA, they won't care right?) SMO's runway is so short it barely exists anymore... I'm finding a lot of nice stuff for Central and South America. I had no idea where Managua actually was, in fact my only reference for it comes from a Frank Zappa song ("Yo' Mama") and I'd sort of assumed it was in Mexico. So, with apologies for any Managuans (is that right?) reading this, off I went. It really looks like a rather fine place, in terms of its setting at least (which is all you can really tell from the sim). I shall be back exploring here again soon. looks kinda tranquil and inviting, doesn't it?

Inspired by seeing the Short Sunderland flying here in the forum, I thought I'd have a go at converting a few more oldies. This is a big fave of mine and it seems to have come across ok (no real usable cockpit but that's fine). First, the B-36B model - And then the B-36H model - "four burnin', six turnin'" They called it 'the Peacemaker', and everytime I see that I hear the old "Star Trekkin'" song in my head (we come in peace (shoot to kill, shoot to kill, shoot to kill), we come in peace (shoot to kill, shoot to kill,Jim))

I've got another Mooney - kind of a retro Mooney Bravo look...but still looks cool. I am trying to figure out how to recolor the registration to black. Carenado's files are kinda locked away so I may have to tinker. If anyone knows how lemme know! For now the dark green isn't the end of the road...errr....sky, but it's not great. In a vain effort to try and pic my favorite GotGravel® Savage Carbon moment, I've resigned to just post a few of my only "favorite" 🙂 Here is @cavaricooper and I climbing into a beautiful sunrise with this marvelous bird for a flight around Monument Valley. Or is it me and Carl after we landed at the excellent Locher scenery and I was laughing hysterically at the detail of the cows, so much so that this has also become one of my favorite pics of an adventure in this go-anywhere plane. 🙂 Flocking on the ice with friends. 🙂 Resting in the valley of Yosemite after testing the scenery for the author. And finally, rocketing out of …
