The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Just completed a VFR flight from KONT - KPSP in our VL3 Rotax 915 mod. I flew it online at PilotEdge. Was enjoying the scenery so here's just a few snaps on the way in. Apparently the wind farms are rampant haha! 3VL_0 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr 3VL_1 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr Chop and drop! 3VL_2 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr

It's a nice looking bird....and screenshots are easy...but can someone point me to a clear and concise YT tutorial? I'm using the A32X mod from FBW The FMS (is it called MCDU?) seems to scroll backwards. Treat me like a total baby. I just have no clue how to operate this thing! scarebus1 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr

This is for you @Will Fly For Cheese. 🙂 I was literally about to hit the post button replying to @leprechaunlive about a pic in celebration of the Mooney fix. Here what I was going to say as well: I know right? Hehe....he's a one shot wonder! 🙂 Phenomenal shots and composition...just light on the volume of shots per thread. 😉 Ok...in my best filou copycat....Just pulled her out on to the ramp. Forgot my glasses so this is really what it looked like to me! 🤣 My passion for screenshots is a parallel to the passion I have for the sim. In a job where I look at text all day long...seeing beautiful aircraft...from short and stubby qui…

With the wacky workings of live weather....going up through a cloud layer where the temp is "forcasted" to be well above freezing, and although the OAT was near 0, this was the result. Then this morning....going up through a similar looking overcast, temp and forecast....this stunning view when I broke out: Hope we can get reliable weather conditions and forecasting...The sim is so awesome otherwise for environmental depiction. The screen above about took my breath away when I broke out on top!

I've flown the DEN-JAC route numerous times, such a nice, short, scenic route. I've never had a weather/visual experience like this one though. Flying through the cloud layer near the top so every once in a while I get a peak of blue above me, then I break out of the cloud layer and there's the splendor of the Tetons in my view. Sorry about the HUD in the exterior shot, I wasn't planning on taking shots when I grabbed that one quickly. Wish there was a hot key to remove the HUD!

The ship is the freeware “USS Constitution”. The model itself is very, very basic; but I wanted to see, how she behaves in MSFS. So l chose a destination somewhere close the German North Sea shore, and voila, here she is, floating at around 2,000 ft. As she makes no attempt to sink from that altitude, I pushed her down gently with my yoke When we finally hit the sea, she didn’t seem to like it at all. Maybe she really thinks, she is the Flying Dutchman. After all, also ships have a soul. But when I slewed her up again, she settled in nicely and finally started to behave like a ship The next thing I d…

Apologies: Meant to post this in the Flight Simulator 2020 forum, mods if you could move please, thanks. Alot of us enjoy Flight Simulators for a vriety of reasons. For me, aside from the joy of flight, I also enjoy the eye candy & memories from the past. When I was a youngster, I'd fly to Toronto from Paris every summer. I still have vivid memores from the old T1 terminal & the T2 terminal as well with the brown parkade. I was wondering if there was any interest in recreating airports in their past selves & if anyone knew of any plans to recreate such airports.
