Hello,As I know, TH2Go deliver 3840 x 1024 resolution wide view by 3 monitors (1280 x1024). If I don't use TH2Go and use two 24" or 27" (1920 x 1200), does it provide the same wide view (even more height)? (3840 x 1200)Take the extreme, is that mean one 30" (2560 x 1600) LCD alone can provide a quite wide view?= 0.66 TH2Go wide view?I am using a 32" LCD TV (1380 x 768) as visual. The size of course is good, but I don't feel the "wide" feeling. Is that because the low resolution problem?thank you!Alkit

I have a question for those of you who have made plastic panels using paper sandwiched between two sheets of plastic. How do you glue the sheets of plastic together with out ruining the paper?I printed out a gear panel on paper, using my laser printer. I sandwiched it between two sheets of plastic and used super glue. Where ever the glue touched the paper the ink ran. It looks horrible. Is there a secret?John

Hi,this message is just to notify to the people who downloaded my ATR 72-500 glass-cockpit gauges, that PFD and EHSI are freely available for downloading at my web site at http://digilander.libero.it/washburn_it (Download section) or they will be available also in the AVSIM File Library (FS2004 Panels, search for "ATR") in a while since I uploaded them just a few mins ago.IMPORTANT NOTE:Like the others intruments of the set, they can be used through a LAN without the need of WideFS.You just need to download "ATR GC Server v1.0a" from my web site and overwrite its previous version (v1.0) that is included in the "ATR GC Engine Panel" file.Below a preview.Regards,Bobhttp://f…

Hello!I'm from Norway. For a couple of years ago, we got a real DC10 flight simulator. We have worked on it the last two years, and in a couple of months the simulator will be finished. I have created a website of the prosject, have a look at www.dc10.no. At the moment the website is only in norwegian language, but I will translate it to english very soon.Maybe this is the wrong forum to post a real simulator in, but anyway; Have a look at our simulator at www.dc10.no.Magnus

Hi allI don't have space or money for a full home cockpit, (but I wish I did!) Recently I discovered the Ultimarc IPC (www.ultimarc.com), which allows input only for a set of 32 buttons which are interpreted as a regular USB keyboard. From this, I have started putting together an MCP (without displays). If anyone is interested in seeing detials, have a look at my flickr stream which has extensive comments: http://www.flickr.com/photos/dnunez_za/set...57594496678245/I also plan to give it a display using a peterhelion 4 line LCD, which goes for about $50 - using FSX and simconnect, this is fairly straightforward.I can post more details if anyone is interested.Keep on solde…

They are fantastic!! The first time I did an aileron roll, I experienced a second of vertigo. Amazing! Patterns are now a breeze, rather exercises in frustration, as I overshoot the runway. I took a P-51 Mustang on a low level in mountainous terrain. I was almost like my days in the RF-4. I could see around me and more important, see where I was going when I made a 90 through a pass or valley. When I team this up with the T-38 cockpit...Lookout!Best Christmas present I ever gave myself. Even if it was three weeks after Christmas.I want to thank the guys who helped me in my decision. Your advice and insight was very helpful. JohnJust your average 59 yr old kid.

I'm getting to the detailed programming part of my motion platform, but I'm lacking some real flight experience.I would appreciate if anybody can give me some details on actual small / medium GA aircraft motion during the following events: 1.When extending flaps: what do you feel during transition and after extended? 2. When lowering gear: what do you feel during transition, lock, and flying with gear down? 3. When extending airbrakes / spoilers: what do you feel during transition and after extended?4. What is the actual duration of the buffeting after rotation takeoff? What does the buffeting amplitude depend on? 5. Does anyone have a good trigger event during flight (ve…

Scenario: Spoilers are armed and plane touches down. The spoilers extend automatically. The throttle is advanced a bit later either to taxi or to abort the landing.Does anyone know what triggers the automatic retraction of the spoilers after landing when the power is re-applied? Is there an offset that controls this behaviour or is that logic built-in the main FS program? If there is no offset for this, how does the program know that the throttle has been advanced? In a real throttle, there may be a switch to indicate that, but this is not required in FS. So, there must be a way for FS to know that the throttle has been advanced & that the spoilers need to be retracte…

Check this video out: http://www.flightscenery.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=438and here for the 767:http://www.simradar.com/Feature/Screen_Cap...lips/index.html Man, those videos are great! I felt like I was in a real airplane. Now, sorry to break the topic, but I must. I have been looking at the TrackIR equipment ever since I watched an amazing video of someone using the level D 767 package, and saw how the view is just so much more realistic. To be honest, I hate VC's because they are cumbersome to look at switches and the movement is slow, and it eats frame rates too. However, this video of PDX again shows just how much more realistic TrackIR is when used in a flight sim…

Hi All,Can any users tell me if they have found a way round the problem that seems to exist on the Analogue input of this board. It appears to work normally(0 to 221) in Fsadmin but in FSRouter the value for any input goes from 0 to 128 then goes negative.Even if you assign something to this and use the postive part it seems very slow.I didread one post of someone with similar problems but nothing else.I dont want to have to hang something else in or use the gameport just for analogue input.Classic used to work well.Just wished i hadnt dismantled my Classic setup now.Any comments help would be appreciated.ThanksLes

Is there absolutely NO improved airfile for the Lear 45 at all? Please, someone speak up. Im sure there has to be one somewhere. For some reason the default L45 is giving me all sorts of pitch problems and I dont know what to do to make it less sensitive. I have recalibrated my CH yoke several times now. Suggestions?(for those wondering, I know that the default FS9 a/c arent very good, but this is for a flight deck project, so I just wanted to advise that I have a hangar full of ES, PMDG, etc. I just need a good Lear 45 now).
