  2. Hi all:I just got Wideview all hooked up. I use 2 PC's - 1 for scenery and 1 for showing the instrument panels (flying PC) When I run the flying PC with the instrument panel in Full Screen mode the gauges look really nice. The problem is I can't get rid of the outside scenery on this monitor (I don't need it on this one as my other PC runs the scenery).I can get rid of the scenery by running in Window mode by undocking the scenery window and minimizing it but the gauges on the instrument panel are really blurry and I can hardly read them.Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this ?Many thanks...JB

Hello builders.I`m a bit confused, regarding how to set up my cockpit views. My plan is a Cirrus home-cockpit with following set-up:PC1: FS with front view and Eaglesoft Cirrus flight model, (maybe) with deleted panel, and Reality XP GNS430 on a second monitorPC2: Project Magenta GA glass cockpitPC3: Left viewPC4: Right viewNow my questions: What happens, if I delete the panel to have better fps? Is there any "panel-controlled" sounds or other things that I will loose? Is it better just to deactivate some gauges? And/or what to do, to have the spinning propeller to be seen in my front view? What do you "GA builders" do with your side-views?As I have understood, I can

Ok I've enjoyed flying the Flight1 Addon for FS9 so much I want to built a home cockpit based on it. I have no idea where to start sourcing panels and Instrumentation. I am particularly keen to emulate the AOA indexer in the EADI and the nice autopilot.Any pointers will be gratefully recieved.David Miles

I'm working on making an F-15 Simulator for my home. I need some help however. All I want is to have switches in the cockpit preform actions in the simulator program. I figured I might bbe able to take a keyboard apart, and solder contacts to the keys which lead to switches. I can then program them accordingly. I have a problem with this idea though, a keyboard repeats its commands when holding a key. I want the keyboard to only send out one command every time i flick a switch. Any information on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.

Hello everyone, first of all I blame everyone in here for getting me hooked on this hobby, so there I said it. Now, any help on this is ver very much appreciated, Im still doing research on home cockpit building, but meanwhile im trying things out, I have a basic stamp kit at home I was starring at the other day, I figured hey why not hook this up and try and interface it, I figured FSUIPC should do it. I was wondering if anyone can give an actual example of how to read O I dont know say even the flaps status or gear status, in VB, with FSUIPC_Read. Once again thank you so much everyone.

Hi all! I'm having some issues with my IOCards Master Card from OpenCockpits. I've posted questions at the their forums but haven't gotten any answers, so I thought I'd try here. These forums are a good deal more active, so I think I might have better luck here!Anyway, I'm having two main problems...First, none of my outputs are working. On the J2 connector, I have +5VDC on pin 1 and GND on pin 2, but I can't get anything on the other pins. I've tried a test with a simplified config file that should turn on an output when the landing light is turned on. This works in the IOCard simulator program, but not with the hardware card. Also, I've had a couple of times when all of…

Hello! My name is Per and I'm from Sweden. I've been flying around in the FS Sky for 10 years now so I know a little about the FS line of simulators. Recently I teamed up with a couple of talented guys and we are planning on building our own 737 flightdeck. Obviously we need multiple monitors for this set up. A learned some about Wide Wiew and there are some limitations concerning AI traffic which is very important to us. Recently I also read a review of Matrox Triple 2 Go, which seems to be an interesting alternative. We will try to base our 737 simulator on a "1 super computer system". We need 6-7 monitors. 3 of them to display front + front left/right views(Triple2Go) a…

Hiya allI have been using 2 monitors for around 3 years now and would never go back to a single monitor for flightsimming. Im now itching to expand to 4 monitors and really dont know the easiest way to do this.I have recently bought the Flight1 ATR-500 and that aircraft has so many pop up panels that it can be quite confusing. Things like not being able to see the gauges for the engines spooling up without actually having to open yet another panel. The setup I would really like would be something along the lines of a 4 monitor system set up as below.Monitor 1 - Main Forward Display without a panel. Im a real sucker for scenery, I have both Ultimate terrain and Flight …
