Folks,My sim is still in boxes but I wanted to express my joy of finding some real parts again. I'm at 13 vs 18.I have found 13 of the 31 real parts I'm searching for. However, only 9 or 10 of the remainder I concider important to have.An overvieuw:http://users.skynet.be/porreke/blogger/upl...Gots-720170.jpgThe greens I got, the reds I still need. The things not colored are either: not important / easy to DIY / have to be DIY because of personal preferences. The most recent parts I found are a second F70/100 yoke (hope to trade them for real F50's in the future if possible, if not, I won't mind). Also I'm very excited about having found a gear-lever module with anuncia…

  4. Hi all,I just wanted to announce another new "big project":We (a team of two) have just started to develop something new for home flight simulation and cockpit builders. To be exact, it's going to be a modular system to simulate all kind of avionics, based on latest microcontroller technology. The whole project is done within a diploma thesis and the first prototype will be ready in spring/early summer 2007 - we do not really know yet whether this project will become public after the diploma presentation (depends on if everything works the way it should :-)), but we are planing to publish the whole thing for other sim-builders out there some day ;-)More information can be …

I don't know if I imagined this but a couple of months ago, I could have sworn there was a ready made 737 throttle quad that was colored like the colors on a 747. I thought I seen it on the Goflight INC. website but I don't see it there. Does anyone know what I'm talkin about?

I am a beginner. My plan is making a GA cockpit such as C172 and my first goal will be making a full radio stack such as RS372 type. I have inspected I/O cards and FsBus system to understand for choosing which one will be easier for me. FsBus is closer to what on my mind is. But there are some items that I could not understand. Before starting I will need some help from experienced guys. I am sorry if my questions are so stupid things...Answers will ensure me to understand better the FsBUS system.- Radio(1-2)/ON/OFF/TEST switch is not functional by mouse click on the radio stack for some aircrafts (C172), but it is functional for some aircrafts (socata TB-20 GTII-not a or…

  14. Hi Folks:I just recently updated my home cockpit by adding another super computer for scnery and using Wideview. I use a second computer for my cockpit panels and run them both through Wideview. My outside view/scenery computer has the following specs:- AMD Athalon PC - 1.5 g RAM- Sapphire ATI PCI-Express 512mb video card I get great FPS's on both PC's (50 FPS) but my problem is no matter how I play with the AA, AF and screen resolution settings on the scenery PC I can't get rid of 'shimmering' on buildings and airports when I fly towards them. Would it be worth while trying a new PCI-e graphics card to see if this gets rid of the shimmers ? Any suggestions on a real nice…

HiFor a number of years I have been very s-l-o-w-l-y building a Cessna 172 cockpit using Simkits's fantastic gauges. I decided I wanted a slight change of scenery and started a smaller project to keep myself occupied. I was sick of using the keyboard when I was using FS, so, after seeing Simkits' 32 input controller i designed a small panel of switches to control various cockpit functions. I just thought I would share my progress with my fellow sim-builders. I designed it using Sketch-up and Photoshop and I am quite happy with the results. I just need to build a case for it out of MDF and then I can start wiring all the switches up. http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/169…

  17. I am attempting to have the best of both worlds. Ever since getting the TH2Go and the TrackIR I am in simulator heaven. It is as close to having a 360 visual as you will get, this side of $10,000.However, I still want to use the gauges inside my cockpit. So, I tried to set up the TH2Go and, using a separate graphics card drive two monitors for the gauges. I can go to a windowed view and drag the gauges to the external monitors. However, when I go back into full screen (meaning three screens) the external monitors lose the gauges. The view is replaced with my desktop.Does anyone know of a workaround? Or do I need to go to a two computer WidevieW setup?

Please, anyone who has fully running FSBus NG cockpit, write complete data about boards (COM, I/O and DISPLAY). I mean the boards numbers (i belive it's like the release date) and the current version of programs to flash on Atmega, and FSBus Admin and FSRouter (or release date). I suspect that most of problems are based on uncompatibility between programs released in different time periods. This will help in further works and will solve some problems.PLEASE DO NOT NEGLECT THIS POST! DO YOUR BEST ! Best regardsDaimon

Hey gang.. I need some help here....I have been running along on my Dell 2405 24" LCD for a while now and Love it. I have seen that some of you have been running multiple displays so I thought I'd go ahead and bite the bullet and order a pair of 20" 2007FP's to sit on either side of the 2405 to give a nice 3 panel wrap around display for FSX.Unfortunately, I can't seem to figure out how to do it. I have the 2405 on it's own card (a 7900GT) and then the 2 20's hooked to a second 7900GT (not in SLI mode!). When I go into the video card settings, I see the NView stuff, but it only lets me stretch the display across any 2 monitors hooked to a single card, not across monitors …
