  1. I am interested in building the lower part of the panel of an aircraft. Meaning..All the switches, lights, battery, alternator, Master, and then the warning messages etc. I think that is digital Input and output?Thats my immediate goal. No analog for Yoke and stuff. No motors for guages etc. Something like this.http://www.baron58.com/switch_panel.htmI am noob. I have no electrical or electronics background. I don't understand electronic diagrams. I prefer as much as possible prebuilt. I don't want solder wires. I prefer snap on types. However I have a reasonable programming background and yet I would prefer not reinventing the wheel and would prefer to leverage already wr…

Started a week ago with "programming" in the new FSBUS compiler language. Almost erverything is working in my pedestal at the moment. The rudder trim is not yet working (took a long time to get it right in the last version too, I remember)F,FRTrim,0,0x2ec0,DBL,1,1,1,0,RWC,CRRTrim,ROTARY,29,0,A,ARTrim,-1,1,R,,FRTrim,ARTrim,1,1,0,R,,CRRTrim,ARTrim,1,1,0,ADDVALR,,ARTrim,FRTrim,1,1,0Normal rudder deflection gives values between -0,17 and +0,17 at 0x2ec0 (fsinterrogate). The above example changes the rudder knob between -1,0 and 1. (you will see strange things on the rudder knob is FS).I would like to have the ruddertrim value change with small steps, about 0.01 between 0.17 and…

Sorry if this has been talked about before, but here goes. What is the difference with the new FS Bus hardware/software? I remember years ago, it had FS router and CCC software, but now it seems different. I'm asking because I would like to use it now, but I'm not sure where to start. Thank you.

After many hours of work I can now start again to keep my site up to date. What I have just done in the section of the yokes. Then if you want to see how I carried out the assembly of the two columns and of the yokes visit my NEW SITE (do not forget to modify your favourites if I were there because the old site will soon disapear) In the next few days I should add many new photos regularly because I am to finish the painting of the two seats and many more... Your comments are always appreciated, but currently the book of the guests does not work, unfortunately. I hope to solve this quickly...

Hi,I have only one pc and I'd like to build my own FMS using a hacked keyboard. (http://www.hanskrohn.com/Overview/CDU/CDU.htm)The questions are: Is it possible to control the fms and the flight simulator at the same time via 2 keyboards? Maybe with the OpenCockpits UsbKeyCard? Is a dedicated pc for FMS obligatory? Thanks for the help.Cotolez

Hi all,For a long time I have searched forums and searchmachines etc...I stumbled upon an easy way to create a collimator.I have now made a fist "prototype" that I am experimentig with. The sense of depth is amazing. Allready on this unprecise setup. With this I guess it's also possible to setup a large display with a projector in the back. It seames that the back mirror does not have to be curved. But I will start expreimenting with this as soon as I have the plexi mirror I ordered. The "Collimator" by the way is a normal acrylic glass bougth in a "do it your self" store. If anyone is interested in a good out the window view it's worth expremimenting with this :-)Any one el…

I recently stumbled across this Japanese website http://web1.kcn.jp/soujukan_koubou/sojukan_koubou/koubou.htmDespite using the Google translate facility I am having difficulty in understanding the detail of the products, pricing etc.As far as I can tell, they only supply and give support in Japan. However, I'm really interested in the possibility of buying one of these products. Does anyone have any idea of how it may be possible to arrange a purchase? (I've tried e-mailing in English...but no response).Cheers,Michael

  16. Hello dear PMDG programmers, I think a lot of people is very glad to see your 737NG series for FSX announced.I'm one of those...Of course the very high quality of your add-ons is very much appreciated by the simmers community. There have been rumours on the net, telling that maybe the FSX version would provide more possibility for cockpit builders to interface hardware knobs with the functions of your plane, like keyboard commands for all the functions or another way like an sdk ...As you know there is a fast growing community of home cockpits builders, especially for the 737 because it is the most documented and supported plane (and one of the most agrable to fly).As you …

  17. Release 6.1 of FSCONV is available for download. It has support for the FSX version of Level-D 767-300 (released today http://www.leveldsim.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=13765 ) FSCONV can be used as well in FS9 with FSUIPC 3.75 as in FSX SP1 with FSUIPC 4.11; it will detect FSX or FS9 automatically. Note that there is no difference in offsets between the FS9 and FSX versions of the LevelD 767-300.On my site you may find a short movie with the arrival of the new Level-D in EHAM (page new?!)Have Fun!Nicohttp://www.nicokaan.nl

Ok, so I'm hoping to build some radios and other goodies and obviously I need a way to dial in frequencies and such.I'm using the IOCards system and currently have a Master card and the USB Expansion. Hi. I need to hook up a variable speed fan to a hang glider simulator, so that when your speed increases the fan blows on your face more, and when you slow down, you feel the wind in your face decreasing in speed. The program I'm using is FSX. For this to work I need to hook into FS somehow. I know that it is possible to do, because people hook up instruments to FS to make their own real life like cockpits. Do you know how I would go about doing this, and if not do you know of a person I could contact or website that I could take a look at?Thanks,Sam

I'm sure this is pretty basic, but after searching here and the fsuipc forum I'm running out of ideas / or search strings to query. I built the FSBUS NG hardware and recently updated to the CDK software. My question/problem is that operating a switch causes more than one switch throw at a time with no obvious pattern (affecting those only included within the 0d0c offset). Do I need …

It only needs a small program running on the PC to communicate with FS via FSUIPC.The module controls different active and standby frequencies: COM1, COM2, NAV1, NAV2, ADF1, ADF2 and transponder. The module includes backlighting (controlled by software) for dark environments. Several modules can be linked. For example, you can select COM1 in one, NAV1 in another one... Technical sp…
