I have a quick question about the capacitors for the servo board. In the pdf, it says C3 and C4 are 22pf caps (not polarised) In the parts list, it doesn't even mention C1 and C2.From looking at the schematic, C1 and C2 are 22pf, C3 is 10u (polarised) and what is C4 (which is not in the schematic)?ThanksDavid

Hi.I'm planning to build a generic desk-top style sim. It's purpose is mainly as a procedural trainer to simulate G/A aircraft first and foremost, with extra hardware fitted to allow the flying of jets. It will use a 20-22" LCD for Captain MIP and smaller touch screen on Co-Pilot MIP. It will be easily re-configurable using different panel masks.I've counted approximately 95 switches that will need to mounted, as well as the addition of 2x Saitec Throttle Quads, CH yoke and rudder, AVCOMS will be by Goflight. Anything that needs outputting to an LED will be displayed on either LCD screen to avoid some work here.My question is which interface is the easiest to use given th…

Hi. I'm trying to determine the best display set-up for my sim (Level-D B767). I intend to purchase a TH2GO unit to drive 3 external displays however I'm not sure if I should try and use my existing LCD projector plus purchase 2 more, OR should I buy 3 x LCD screens?I understand that the TH2GO will divide the external view into 3 x 1280x1024 screens, but does that mean I can use my LCD projector if it is capable of displaying 1280x1024 through set-up menus, or do you need a special projector? If I can use my projector, I can find another 2 which will complete the externals, plus I intend to run a 19" LCD for main instrument panel. If I need to go the LCD monitor route, is …

Hello,I just got me a jeppesen control console, complete with pedals, yoke and flitepro software. The driver and documentation of the console however is missing and therefore I can't get it to be recognized by flitepro software. As jeppesen no longer seems to be supporting these little outdated items, I hope anyone here at avsim perhaps can provide me with some knowledge/instructions on how to get it working and perhaps even driver software.MikeBy the way it's a jeppesen fs 200 advanced desktop control console as below;http://www.acespilotshop.com/pilot-supplie...adv_console.htm

hiI'm using a keypad to toggle the lights, fuel pump etc and I'd like some gauges that light up to indicate whether the toggle/rockers are on/off. they would be displayed on the screen that displays instruments and is covered by a panel. thus there will be holes in the panel where these indicators are.

I already saw somewhere a site where was all dimensions of the "J" rails under the CPT and First officer seats. If vour have the adress of this site that would be very useful. I am working on the way to make my own "J" rails. After several months to break my head to know how I could make these complicated rails (too much expansive on the market)) I found the way to built it. If all works well the cost will be approximately $100. and functional... ie; rails in "J" shape with side displacement at the end of course (like the real ones). As always I will put all constructions details on my site. So, as I prefer to make everything with the real dimensions. So am I looking fo…

Hi AllI think that I have found the perfect solution for all those who need multiple glass cockpit solutions without the need for multiple networked PC's or expensive graphics cards.I found a mob that produce TFT display kits (various sizes 5" up to and greater than 20")that can connect to your USB port. It uses an ArtistaUSB controller board so you can connect to your host PC without the need of a graphics card. Each controller board controls one TFT display. But because it connects to the USB port you can have as many units as you want. My understanding is that once connected and the Windows drivers are installed, Windows will simply pick it up as another display. It re…
