I use a dual head PCI Card for two monitors and an S3/G onboard video card for 3rd monitor. The onboard card is not seen by FS2004, as in not appearing in display/settings dropdown menu.To use the 3rd monitor I have to go in windowed mode, with the associated loss of framerate.Any fixes?

Hi everyone! My setup is coming up real well but is still pretty generic, I would like to specialize it to the MD80.My first question is: is there a simple way to interface real aircraft parts into my computer? The question is related especially to audio and electronic material like hand held microphones and real switches. Real aicraft mics and headsets have a bigger jack, is there anything such as a gender changer where you insert your aicraft audio jack and it comes out PC size? Or is there a more complicated problem related to powering the unit?My second question is if anyone knows if there are suppliers out there that build MD80 FMC/CDUs and MCPs on the style of Engrav…

Having used several flight training devices that utilize multiple touchscreen monitors to display cockpit panels, I was wondering if one could obtain several touchscreens, could they be interfaced into MSFS?I plan on building a flight sim with a projection visual system eventually. However I don't like the idea of locking my self into one aircraft in terms of the cockpit. It seems that the array of touchscreen monitors is the ideal way to be able to fly any aircraft in the sim. Has anybody done this before in a home sim? I know that right now it would be terribly expensive, but with the recent Microsoft Surface computing anouncement I think touchscreens will be come more …

Morning all from Australia.A few quick question.-I have only one serial port on my computer, and don't think anything else will fit inside. Is it possible to use a Serial-USB converter with FSBUS/-Is it possible to use more than one COM board? I presume if so I will require the running of two FSBUS programs?I want to run 3x 6packs, 2x DO, and 3xservo, which makes a total of eight. Many thanks in advance.RobMelbourne

Hello guys,I have decided recently to add some buttons to my home made B767 cockpit, and I've found the LPT Switch methood which looks great and simple. The problem is that its impossible to find the LPTSwitch V1.3 program- all the links appears to be invalid. If you happen to have it, or similar software, please advise me, or send me a valid link.I've also found on AVSIM program called "LPT Reloaded". Unfortunatly, the program itself doesn't work :(I really need this software.. please help me.Thank you!Avshalom Sadoun.

OK, I am debating whether I should put a PS2 in my "cockpit" I am currently running a FS9 3 monitor setup, 1 DVI(Outside), 1 VGA(panel) , and a 4" s-video tft tv(GPS). I mainly like longhaul flights, but you know how boring those can get while on autopilot. So, I am planning to adapt the VGA monitor to run on the PS2 (Component video) while I go press W so the outside view will have some gauges, and to see if I crash into a mountain or something (I fly with a Mooney in unlimited fuel mode, as I havent learned how to fly commercial flights yet) The 4" monitor will still be on GPS, while the panel, will be switched to gaming mode. I will use a KVM box so my mouse and keyboa…

hi everyonelooking for a FS2004 plane that would match my current setup seen at http://www.solvengineer.com/simulator.htmlA few notes: I plan to do away with the yoke and instead use a side stick. I also plan to invest in a separate throttle.I am looking for a single engine aircraft that uses a side stick arrangement. I would like something high performance but with fixed gear. Suggestions (maybe with download link too :) welcome!

G'Day all.I was just wondering if anyone had any graphic files of lightplates for the 737, and dials for GA instruments?A while ago I had some Airbus .eps files (which were lost in a huge computer crash/wipeout), but I'm considering the the 737 route. Also wondering if anyone has graphics of GA instruments/dials, similar to the simkits. I'm also sending an email to simkits to see if they will sell just faceplates. Thanks in advance.Rob.Melbourne Australia.

A question... How to do to adjust the brightness of a screen which has been stripped. I explained. In a real cockpit you may ajust the britghness via a pot just below the PFD/ND... So for the PDF/ND I will strip a TFT of his framework and will place it behind the two perforations of the PFD/ND. But I would like to be able to adjust the brightness of this screen with the assistance of a potentiometer... and not via the electronic menu of the screen. I hope to be clear and most that there is a way to do that with either IOcard or.... Thank you for your answers,
