Lately, I've run into a delay of 1 to 2 minutes when sending a message over s/b. It doesn't happen continuously, as an example during the Group Flight to Dallas from LA this past Saturday. While in LAX airspace there was no problem, when I switched to ABQ the problem started. When handed off to Dallas the problem went away.It's seems only outgoing messages are delayed almost like they are sent into a queue then released. Hello All,Last night we did some extensively testing with "Project AI planes" as possible replacement for the standard shapes and textures of the CSL planes. That worked out fine!Only we got stuck with a series of questions:Some CSL planes have visible gears extended from their fuselage, others do not (an rest on their belly)---------------------------------------------Questions_array(0):1. In this configuration, however, I have not been able to get the "attn.wav" and "myattn.wav" to work when text messages come through on SquawkBox. Hi folks!!This is my first message in this forum!!I'm having a lot of trouble running SB this days...I'm a newbie in VATSIM - got my PID in december and start flying in January 12th.. Since that day I already installed SB almost 90 times! (89 time to be more exactly). I always got the same error message: winodws have problems with this program and blablabla... Maybe I am misunderstanding of how this .dll works but I have the idea that you can communicate with SBHost by using the keyboard on comp. 1 to communicate w/ SB on computer 2.. Is this the case?? Hi all! I have the 2002 version,2.3b4. I have made no changes, but when I use my SB, well, #1, when searching for a session, it finds 2, mine and "null 0/1" Whats that? I click on mine and seems normal, but my microphone has some weird feedback. I just touch the mic and it has an irritating echo like thingy. I checked my mic setting, all is fine. Anybody have this prob?I appreciate any feedback offer, from you all!Thanks!

Could someone please help.....At the moment, I am enjoying flying on Vatsim very muchThe only problem, is when I am told to change freq's.I have to pop up the sqwakbox window, and click on the controller freq that I want to use, which then changes the freq on roger wilco etc.....Am I doing this correctly, or is there a better way to change freq's cause it's a bit annoying having to "stop flying" momentarily whilst I click on a different freq.......What would be ideal is if your comms box would link to roger wilco and change freq like that...!!Any help..../!!!!!

hi,Each time I connect at VATSIM, I have problems with controller because on their screen they do not have the same position of my aircraft as the one I have in FS02.And this is the same on the VATSIM applet. When for instance I am at EGLL, I appear on Vatsim screen to be in a place south of Gatwick. The same appears at San Juan TJSJ. When I am supposed to be on the northern part of the island, vatsim computers show me on the southerb part of it.Why thoses offset?What shall I do?I have a fresh and recent install of fs2002 pro Any advice welcomed Minos

I,m running sb on fs2002 os windows xp. When I try to run sb it says that sb.exe has encountered problems and must shut down. It does this about 3 or 4 times and then I can connect. Anybody out there know what my problem is? Thanks.

I`m using Squawkbox on a second computer -- all works fine but one thing -- I get no text from squawkbox on my flightsim computer -- it`s very annoying because I often overhear some of the controler messages Could anyone help me :-)Thanks mike

I have installed squawkbox but on the portion of searching other players on the MP it cannot find it. Have already tried putting the IP and 127.0.0.1 no go, I have disabled the personal firewall of WinXP still no go. What must I do please help.

I've notice when flying on VATSIM using Squawkbox and my TCAS that the 'moving map' display (if you can really call it that-it does display the waypoints of your route though)--does a few odd things and I want to make sure that I'm not making some sort of newbie operating errors to make this stuff happen.Firstly-everytime I fly past my first waypoint the waypoint and routing display doesn't cycle to the next waypoint or points. When I first installed Squawkbox the FMS A/P screen had four lines, including one for Velocity. When I changed to the compact FMS screen and tryed to go back to the full FMS screen I lost the lower portion of the FMS gauge. I dumped the squawkbox.ini file and got the full gauge back, but no Velocity line. I tryed re-installing Squawkbox but no luck, still no Velocity.Is there another configuration file for the FMS gauge?

Could someone please help me. I've posted this earlier but had no reponse. When I go full screen the squawkbox window will minimize and I can't see it. It seems every time I click the screen the squawkbox window minimize. Would like to get back into the Vatsim system and fly again.Regards.........

In reteaching myself how to connect to and use the Vatsim network, I have rediscovered something that I had discovered before --and that is that I find the HostSB .dll almost impossible to use. It bogs and slows my system down so much that I can barely even move the mouse across the screen (I have a Pentium3/1000 with 512 meg RAM and a Geforce 2 Mx video card) In the past , I had to revert to using the Standard Squawkbox Host with all of its' problems ( and I never really did understand how the standard Fs chat window fixes were supposed to work or which one to use) . The HostSB.dll certainly works better -- if only it didn't kill my system. Any help with this would be mu…
