When I click on any section of the flight sim screen the squawkboxwindow minimizes and is unusable in full screen mode. I'm sure there is a simple solution but its been awhile since I've used this prgram. Any help is apreciated.Regards....

Problem with Squawkbox. Just after installing FS Sky World, I loaded FS2002 and attempted to log on to Squawkbox. Mid way through the process while "cliquing through" the various dialog boxes I get:"Squawkbox caused an invalid pages in module MFC42.DLL at 0167:5f410c6d.....blah, blah....."Deleted the old exe and whole folder for that matter and re-load the software, and still get it the same error message???Weird...This has also been sent to the help email.Any help is appreciated. Each time I try to connect on Pro Controller, I get the following message: "I/O Error 21." Then it tells me that PC can't connect to the server I specified and it may be that my IP is incorrect. I hace checked many times and this is not the problem. Has anyone else had this problem? On my other computer, with Windows ME, I don't have this problem, but this one has Windows 2000 Professional. This evening I was refamiliarizing myself with Squawkbox after an absence from it of about 7 years. I did get online but at one point I was "told" that my airplane would not be recognizable because I did not have the file "csl_icao.csv." Can any of you help me locate this file?Bill

hello guys i need a bit of help with a prob i been having a couple of weeks ago i had to reinstall FS2002 on my comp and yesterday a installed SQKBOX to go online now after i did the sim takes too long to start and every change i try to make from a simple weather change to chossing a aircraft takes wayyy too long even if i just start the sim to fly offline takes about 1 min something that takes normaly only seconds if i click to change the aircraft takes forever for the aircraft menu to come up and so on i am runing FSUPC 2.94 this is the 1 i was using before and it was ok i even reintalled the sim and nothing change last nite i try it a few other vercion of FSUPC b…

Trying to get a friend up and running on VATSIM.That is the error msg he gets.I personnally installed his SB. AND configured his Operating System. Everything worked fine, saw other players when testing..all was good.Today he reported that he was unable to see other players.I walked him through the startup of SB and FS2k2. Step by step in real time over Roger wilco.All settings, i do mean ALL settings were matched to mine...my SB works fine.He still gets this error msg and cannot see other players, not just me.I saw him just fine..he moved changed aircraft..even showed up on my FS multiplayer menu.He saw nothing, except on SB TCAS.I am stumped folks.He is using Windows XP …

I have 2 computers at home which are linked on a LAN. Is there any way I can setup Procontroller and Squawkbox to run only on the LAN and not on the internet? Many thanks in advance.

Anyone know where I can get them? I am looking for both the eastbound and westbound completed NatTrack files with the correct SID and STARs to place in the SB FMS.ThanksEd

I'm able to logon to Vatsim but when I go to select full screenthe squawkbox window minimizes and I'm unable to open it up until I uncheck the full screen selection. Can't run squawkbox in full screen. Any help is apprecicated.Regards...

I have a rater annoying problemRunning winXP, RW installed, not a firewall problem.In SB RW is set to auto execute and channel change.When SB starts it will connect to unicom.However...When i then select ATC listing in SB and pick an ATC RW does jump to the foreground, disconnects from unicom, but somehow it is not able to connect to the selected RW ATC server...i'm not getting any warning about it...just RW not changing servers.When in FS2k2 itself and i select an ATC and press 'tune' from the servinfo gauge, RW will jump to front but will not connect to anything either.When i'm in servinfo 2 itself though and select any ATC and press 'join' RW jumps to the front and con…

Hello,A bit of a problem. I have an ADSL router (Speedtouch 510v4)which has an inbuilt firewall. I am now unable to start a squawkbox multiplayer session. I think the firewall is blocking the multiplayer session, because I get the mesaage "Unable to join game."Is there a specific port I should be opening up?I hope someone can helpthanksMichael

Has anyone else experienced this? My Joystick, (Saitek Force 3D) works erratically or sometimes not at all when I'm in the panel view and I have Squawkbox running. FD AP and all autopilot functions work correctly but, for example, when I disconnect the AP to transition to manual flight on an ILS approach I have no control except in external and virtual views, thus I can't control the throttle or flare for touchdown. If I switch to an external or virtual cockpit view it works fine though. I have the latest FSUIP version and FS2002 Pro on Win 98SE, if that makes any difference. Thanks to all the tips on the forum , I can now fly again as before but after 45 mns of flying my keeboard becomes locked up. I can fly my 767 PIC without problems as it's accessible with the mouse, but I cannot type any message in squawkbox wich is most frustrating as it's always on approach this problem happens. AS soon as I exit from SQWKBOX everything is normal again.Another thing I've been asked is to "contact my ATIS" BY the ATC controller (if I remember correctly) it was done by the Tower? is this something new?I use XP pro with DX9, never had any problem with W98SE and DX8.AFR313Alain

I had Roger Wilco working just fine. Then I upgraded my Sound Blaster live drivers. Now when i go to connect to Roger Wilco I get the message "Roger Wilco not able to open any sound devices on your computer". I checked all the settings on Sound Blaster, I don't think any thing is set differnt, but not sure. unistalled R.W and reinstalled. Still can't get it to work. Help!!!!!!

Hi, I am new to SB and have two questions (after researching this forum),When selecting an aircraft type, the column is greyed-out. I have found csl_icao.csv in c:progam filessbcsl... and I have found csl lib in fs2002aircraftcslAlso, I get the "error: invalid callsign or password" message.Anyone have a solution to these two problems?Thanks,Robert TiffanyALT287

Hi, I have been recently having trouble with Squawkbox, or at least I think it might be Squawkbox. I do everything exactly to what you have to do to connect to Vatsim, when it reaches the point in where it says "looking for games...." nothing shows up, you can stay there all day and nothing will show up. I have deleted Squawkbox and downloaded it and installed it again, but the same thing happens. I have the FSUIPC.dll file in my modules folder in FS, and i even put my internet traffic to allow all, but its still nothing. Then when i go back to fs to disconnect from the multiplayer, FS always freezes and does not respond. Im getting furious with this thing, and I really …

HiI have a big problem with FS2002pro, SB e RW:I fly over UK with VATSIM UK and all flights go well, I can contact UNICOM, Approach, Tower also on voice, but when I am in short final (EGKK, EGSS), suddenly my computer search something in the HD, CD and after few seconds FS2002 crash down. RW goes OK so I can advise ATC of my touble...I fly with the DF PIPER Archer and the C172 Carenado. No problems in those airports if I don't fly on line.My system:P4 2.8GH, 1G Ram, ATI 9500 pro, DirectX 9, Windows XP pro + SP1, SB 2.3 build5, CSL and VIP aircrafts.Thanks for help

Hi all,I am totally new to on line flying and I am learning before "diving" into it. I downloaded SB, Servinfo (and Roger Wilco). I worked the tutorials and got to the connection step where I am kind of stuck:Most of the time, I can't connect to any of the available Vatsim servers (as given by Servinfo) and I get back the msg " the specified address is not available from the local machine". Sometimes, I get "the attempt to connect was forcelly rejected". I Clicked on one button in the FMS, and it was reduced in size.I need help fast! After loading Squawkbox version 2.3.5 for FS2002, I was trying to input data on the FMS (Flight Management System), which was going fine, Now: referring to the top row of horizontal buttons on the FMS: DISC NAV POS ACARS INOP EXIT [ ]: To the right of the EXIT button where I have placed the bracket; is the button I clicked on, and it caused the FMS to be reduced in size to where I cannot see the lower Alphabets, nor input data. I erased the Squawbox file and downloaded it again. However, the size is still ruduced.How can I get the FMS back to it's regular size again?Tom,
