Hi,I've just downloaded the FSDWIN V A.06-Server from www.ivao.org/network/so (at the bottom of the page)After configuring it I'm faced with several problems:1.After connecting to the server with 2 client Pro-Controllers (on different machines, with different callsigns), the list of "Who is online..." is always empty. This means I can't send radio messages from one client to the other. Anyone know of a TCAS guage that actually works with SB that I can "dock" in the aircraft panel like the SB one did in FS2000?

After loading FS 2002 and engaging multiplayer, I start Squawkbox Host and then Squawkbox Main Program and immediately my microphone becomes live. Every cough, rustle etc is played back through the earphones. I thought it was a problem with RW but at this stage I haven't yet activated RW. Just as an aside, after the feedback problem occours, RW reverts to 'rx only', this being determined with a mike test. I can't figure out wether this is a SB or RW problem. I have re-installed RW using 1c instead of 1d3 but that hasn't made any difference.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Denis N Ripley

I must buy GOFLIGHT Gf-45 to use it with SQUAWKBOX and RW. to change frequency in SB one must click on "ATC DIRETORY and make his choice. By changing the frequency with the "com1" of FS one cannot obtain the ATIS and the lauch RW. Put the frequency directly on Gf-45 will not launch the new ATIS in SB and RW. Is it possible to regulat this problem?

Sorry if this has been covered before but a couple of times I've seen this really weird behaviour on vatsim. Last night e g I took a flight from EDDF to EGLL and before me another plane had taxied to rwy 18. However, when I was about to taxi the very same plane (I could read the ID of the plane)appeared close to the gate again. It taxied from my left to my right, crossing my intended taxy path and then it was back again on my left side and crossing again, on and on. Each time it started taxiing it was a bit closer to me. When trying to run SB I only get above message. If I carry on regardless it seems to connect but I cant see other aircraft although they appear on TCAS and I can hear via RWHelp ! ?

Greetings,I just started flying on line recently and have noticed some stuttering with the frame rates at times. I just bought a new PC and have plenty of processing power (2.4 GHZ, 768MB DDR SDRAM PC2700, 64MB ATI DDR Video Card). When in FS2002 off line, I enjoy consistent high frame rates with all the sliders maxed out. When I fly online, the frame rates drop occasionally to about 2-5 FPS for a couple of seconds and then return to normal. It will usually happen when text is scrolling along the top or when on the taxiway going into a turn.Is this caused by the server possibly refreshing information to the PC? Could anyone please tell me how to use Roger Wilco just for monitoring certain active ATC sectors etc., without running Flt Sim or Sqawk Box?How /where would I find out the IP addresses or other info required to type into RW and where/how do I enter it in RW.Many thanks.

I am repeatedly experiencing FS2K2 lock-ups (requiring reboot) when flying on line. The crash happens when I am bringing up the squawkbox dialogue window from its minimised size to normal size by using the HostSB module. I reckon it happens about one in every 25 occasions that I restore the dialogue box from minimised. I suppose I could just leave the dialogue window in full view the whole time, but I do like the facility to hide the display when its not needed since most of the the time I am using voice, and so only require it for changing channels. When FS2K2 crashes, RW keeps working, so at least I can say good bye (!), but the computer will not respond to any keyboard…

I have absolutely no problems running the complete setup, including my FS2002 and win XP.The only problem I incurred just recently was a situation, when in rather heavy traffic I got handed over to subsequent controller. I opened ATC directory in my SBhost and double-clicked on it. Nothing. Several minutes later same attempt and still nothing. I kept on clicking my target line but no reaction. At certain moment the whole ATC list just went bezzerk as it only showed Unicom frequency, despite at least 12 controllers being in my area. I've used Squawkbox for FS 2000 with no problem, but with FS 2002 I've run into several problems. I have Squawkbox for 2002, and am using HostSB. Problem is, when I click on E or F buttons I don't get TCAS or FMS coming up. The buttons just seem to go fuzzy.Any idea what I'm doing wrong?Thanks

Since the release of version 1.31 I have fixed a few minor bugs discovered by users. I have also added a new button to the gauge that will display the controllers ATIS. Normally I would pass this new version to the beta testers team and let it run for a while to see if everything is OK. But since I'm leaving next week for my summer break, and most of my beta testers are scattered in the Greek Islands enjoying the sun and sea, I decided to release it "as it is" insteading of having to wait until September. 2 questions I would like some help with.1) I am having all kinds of trouble logging onto USA S2, S1, and getting an error "password or callsign incorrect". I have tried changing the callsign, and have checked and rechecked the password, but no luck. The strange think is that I can successfully log onto OZNET. The problem is that I live in Canada !!!As I understand it, it should not matter which server you log onto, as they all get you onto the system and from there you can see and tune in the controllers in range. Hi All, After being away from SqwakBox for some time, I decided to start fresh, downloaded fs-2002.zip from the Vatsim site and attempted to install it. The install stopped and I got the following message:Component:CSL FilesFile Group: CSL FilesFile: C:FS2002 The system cannot find the path specifiedI am suspect of the double-backslash but do not know how to correct it.Also, the download area states "if FS is not found the installer will prompt for FS location and version" This does not happen. Hi allI m getting a little frustrated as I cannot get SB to work. I am running FS2002 in XP, have been in touch with a few guys who have checked I am running the latest version of SB and the latest fsuipc file, additionally I am setting everything up correctly even trying the 127.0.0.1 link but SB cannot find it, it just goes on and on and on finding NOTHING. I have even turned off the built in firewall of XP and installed Zonealarm (which I have disabled when trying to use SB) any other suggestions would be much appreciated. Could someone please tell me the best "key" or "keystroke combination" to use to key the microphone in RW... Right now I am using the middle button on the mouse. It works but is awkward as I fly righthanded and use the mouse righthanded. Need a keystroke I can use with my left hand on the keyboard. Thanks in advance.Horace Riley
