I,ve tried searching under "APU STARTING" but cannot find any mention of this problem. After loading the 767 and completeing Engine Start, I shut the APU down and close the overhead panel. After a while if I go back to the overhead panel later the APU has started again (by itself) and I get an EICAS message "APU GEN DISCON" or words to that effect.(I guess because the APU generator is off) I know the APU is not burning fuel and so I can ignore it but it is unreal, and messes up the checklist. I've read about this problem before but am not sure what to do as it was a long time ago.Yours faithfullyAndrew Simmons"No trees were destroyed in the sending of this message. Howe…

I see alot of post on the Posky a/c, can someone tell me the benifits and differances of this over the 767PIC a/c. Which air file is better and does the Posky flight charateristics feel more realistic. Thanks

HiI have used the merge before but since upgrading to XP Pro a problem. The merege keeps saying "error it is not in the FS2002/aircraft folder" but it is. I have tried following the additional instructions but cannot get the aircraft cfg. to merge. I have tried to activate the Command Prompt but tis does not seem to work also. Any ideas ? Thanks in anticipation.

On descent with A/T on, VNAV mode, EEC on, I got the right engine stuck on 100 N1. To preserve the thrust symmetry, I just kept dragging the right throttle lever on the pedestal with the mouse every time A/T adjusted the N1, which obviously was not very convenient. I ended up switching the A/T off, but eventually lost the thrust control completely (and finished the flight with a splashdown instead of a touchdown :-) ). What could but a possible reason for this unwanted 'asymmetry' in thrust control ? (no failures enabled)Adam

Hi all,I've discovered a "problem" (not really, but interesting) with the PIC/PROSKY merge 767-300.After a while flying, my rightwing fueltank is emptier than the left one.So my right engine (I assume, since I normaly don't open the crossfeed valve) needs more fuel than the left one. My 'workaround' is that, I open the crossfeed valve and disengage the right fuelpumps from time to time until my leftwing fueltank shows the same amount as the right one. My engine instruments are showing the same % N1, N2 and the same fuelflow for both engines during the whole flight. So what is happening here?Is anybody out there with the same fuel-behaviour?Best regards,Watsi

Installed Lee Hetherington's IVSI/TCAS indicator with no problems during the process. The VSI works great but the TCAS symbols will only display for a second and then disappear. They tend to come and go even though the Squawkbox TCAS indicator shows traffic. The Squawkbox range is set to 40mi and verified the fsuipc module is also at 40nm. Followed Lee's install and usage procedure word for word. Any help is appreciated.Regards.

I've simply tinkered with this in the past- never kept it too long, as I have questions....Wne complete, is it possible to use the PIC airfile? I ask as the fuel burn and other range specific data is there along with the flight model that the autopilot is used to.Flaps indications were off on all versions that I had tried in the past- flaps 1 shows as flaps 10 types of things on the panel.Other than that, I think I know what I'm, getting n a POSKY model- whci is a very good thing.TIA,Tim

If anyone know the solution of this trouble, of course welcome. Thanks in advance.P.S. Sorry for my influent English.

just recently this started happening to my Engine display only. The warning messages when cleared they stick. This pic was taken using the airfrance 767 PIC plane.....so I tried to see if maybe it was just a POSKY issue..but this was with the origional plane. I am stumped. I want to blame the new FSUIPC.....but I cant find the previous version of it to test that idea. The only othe rthing I have installed prior to this was the new Dash 8 from that Oliv guy....I uninstalle dit then reinstalled PIC to see if that was th eprob...but no joy.any help would be great. thankspichttp://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3e6698144be71e14.jpg41,200 downloads and counting on Avsim a…

Greetings Everyone!Work load is starting to become manageable for me again. I would like to get back to perfecting my landing view and was wondering if you all have any suggestions (besides rain-drops, and landing-lights--I just don't think those are realistic possiblities for this update). I'm open to criticisms/suggestions/comments. I'll consider anything! Thanks for all your support, and I look forward to getting back in the swing of things!Sincerely,Phil Geddes

As some/most of you may know VATSIM-EUR are holding One Sky V2 this Saturday 1600 - 2200UTChttp://vatsim-eur.org/onesky2.htmI have worked up 4 routes for the VA I fly for and thought some of you guys may be interested. All routes have a flight time of around 4.5 hrs so those routes with intermediate stops will nedd allowances for turn-arounds.There is no add-on freeware scenery for Kastrup (EKCH) but ATC is promised; there is scenery for Bilund (EKBI) but no ATC promised, I think last time CTR gave vectors to EKBI.Charts are available from the relevant VATSIM sites.EGCC - UUEESTOCK1R/1S STOCK L975 GOLES UL603 ARNEM UG9 RKN UL980 PENEK UM994 DRE UN858 GRU UT704 BOKSU UP977…

Has anyone purchased the B-757 Operation and Training Manual from Essco Aircraft? If so, how is it? Which airline is it from? What type of engines does it support? I purchased the MD-80 manual from them a while back and found it quite good. Also, does anyone know of other places to purchase 757 manuals? Thanks,Scott

Okay, well.. I am doing a flight right now between KDTW - KDCA. When I first went into flight simulator and parked at the gate I turned off all the power, the tcas went off with it, but it never came back on.. not sure how to turn it back on and went through the readme twice. Here is a picture of proof :( I've tried just randomly clicking the click spots.http://d21.dr3w.net/1.jpghttp://www.dr3w.net/wut.jpgDrew Anderson- [email protected]
