The IFDG Boeing 757-200 series coupled with Randy J. Smith's excellent panel modifications bring PIC up to a new level within FS2k2. I have to say it...PIC is simply unsurpased by any, and I mean any commercial or freeware package aircraft product available for MSFS, even after years of development time availability this product has not only lasted but actually out performs anything todate. I own 'em all and this was truly ahead of its time.Close your eyes and think for a minute, can you imagine what this group could offer in a new product? I am sure it would set the bar for the next 5 years.just my thoughts... thanks for reading.

  6. This post is intended for all of you who are still using the original visual/external aircraft 767 model supplied by Wilco on the PIC767 CD: I have noticed a number of posts lately with screen shots of the original Wilco visual model. With this model, you are doing at least two things:1 - Losing frame rates/speed/fluidity. The Wilco model uses scenery files and costs your resources/speed big time.2 - Flying a crappy looking aircraft when there are far superior, free - visual models available and easily merged to the PIC767 panel.Go here and choose your 767:http://www.projectopensky.com(The downloads section for 767's re-opened today at POSKY)Then get this merge utility…

Hi allSince becoming a member of VATSIM and British Airways Virtual, I have become somewhat interested in IFR Circuits around an airfield. Especially if there isnt much ATC in the UK, I find it ideal to perform these circuits to better increase my confidence online and also to improve my manual landing technique.I was wondering if anyone could provide me with some advice on how to accomplish these successfully in PIC 767.I have tried to search the forum, but I couldnt find anything relating directly to what im looking for.I know the basics of an IFR circuit and the general procedure to carry them out, but im not entirely sure what to do in regards to what you have to ente…

Hi,I have just recently purchased 767 PIC and I have ran into a few problems. Was hoping someone on this board will be able to help.My problem is, when I select the 767 PIC from the aircraft menu, the system slows dowm and the rotating model at the bottom of the screen is stuttering badly. Once I start the sim in the cockpit view the frame rate is fine. If I go to any external view the frames drop from 25-30 fps to 3-4 fps. Can I assume it is a poor model that is causing the problem? I have looked on the Wilco site and done the tweaks that they suggested, including setting the PIC scenery to 'cache' in the edit options. Would I get better results by using the POSKY & …

I have still that problem with both 767 PIC and the PIC Posky 767s. When I fly at cruise level and speed up the simulation to 2x or 4x I get some terrific pitch oscillations, altitude varying between +/- 200 feet, the aircraft continues flying but I get sick :-( I use the newest FSUICP, turbulences and gusts disabled, peak elimination for rudder/ailerons/elevators activated, slow pressure changes. The problem occurs both when flying with the MS default weather or using ActiveSky.I have not that much time for my flying that I can whatch the aircraft crossing the North Atlantic in 7 hours, so every help to my problem would be much appreciated!(somebody was talking about ne…

I am having a problem with the trim on the 767 PIC. So I uploaded a few pics to see if anyone had any ideas. I am flying with AP at 10000 with a speed of 250 and no fuel in the center tank. (hope not to make me to heavy) I reinstalled 767 PIC with only the needed updates. I recalibrated my joystick. And I am still getting alot of nose up during level flight.Does anyone have any ideas on this?Brian

I've been reading this forum for a while - brilliant stuff. Now I have the nerve to post maybe someone can help with this problem. On the odd occasion whilst landing the PIC 767, the main gear seems to find the runway about 20 feet below the nose gear. This leads to some very odd effects as the picture shows. Believe it or not I can taxi like this! It isn't simply a crash but I can't track down what the cause of this might be. I can't always re-create it but it is a very frustrating way to end a long flight! This particular picture was taken after a GA at Heathrow. If anyone has any clues I would be very grateful for advice. Thanks,Mike

ok you guys had a talk with a R/W 737-200 pilot today and asked when and from what refs do you engage Anti/ice.My q was from what ref do you get it (tat) or prog page2 in fmc. A. (tat-) or +15N1. great (tat-) yes but do we use the76 FMC guide as a ref, as the 737-200 as no FMC. (correct me if wrong)do we go by.or do you go off (tat-)for the 76.as prog page 2 will show a temp of such and such.is that at next flight level and w/p or your current pos.It would be just one more answer to getting it right.

Pardon me for asking such a basic question. I have been away from PIC767 for a while and am now back.My question is this. After loading and activating a self created flight plan and getting the "completed" message in the FMC, the speed bugs do not appear on the instruments. I have tried clicking around the guage to find the spot that used to turn on the bugs, but no luck? (The appropriate V speeds are in the FMC.) I am sure it's probably something I am missing but am unable to find it. I have searched the forums also.Could anyone pleae advise

I'm writing for a "BIG" problem i have with PIC767 & my MCP, as i can not find anywhere any other information. I sent the same thread in Wilco's forum, without any solve and reply from wilco's support yet. Please for your help!!!What i want? To connect my custom made MCP hardware device with the PIC767's autopilot & MCP. I saw that the last PIC767's update/patch (ver 1.3 i think) was made to connect the PIC767 with the Aerosoft's MCP & other Hardware devices. So i decided to make my own MCP and i need the way how these two communicate!! Via FSUIPC, via any other DLL or EXE program? I can not find any documention in your site!I'm ready to make any change from m…

  22. Hi!I wish Iz was around to comment on these, but I guess he's somewhere cruizin' with the real thing :).Anyway, the PW model performs weirdly at some stages of flight.1. The climb performance. Sure, the 2037s are the least powerful variant, and by changing the numbers in the aircraft.cfg one could get a more powerful 757. However, this does not wipe away the fact that the 2037 performance is not met with the airfile/aircraft.cfg combination, due to something that I can't explain. It is NOT normal even for the 2037 model to climb ~ 1000fpm at FL250 with a ZFW of 159,000 LBS and Fuel 9,000 lbs, like today on my flight from ENTC to EFOU. The climb performance in the 2037 mode…

Hello PICers! My pop up/ zoomed EADI and EHSI is having a little problem. When they come up, they don't have the frames around the border like the small EADI/ EHSI. For the record, they used to before, until I reinstall a bunch of stuff. As you can see, the pic shows that the pop up EADI doesn't have the mentioned borders, just the contents.

This evening I was on VATSIM doing my first flight with the IFDG 757/PIC merge in Delta NNC. I was flying from PHL-TPA and climbing to my cruise altitude of FL390. As I began to pass FL240 I noticed that my speed began to decrease. It got bad enough that I had to stop the flight. I have tried using the PIC merge with the PIC Aircraft CFG and the original IFDG CFG modified to go with PIC but this still happenes. If you have any advice, suggestions, comments, they will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!Putput28 :-wave
