I've been reading these post here and I am not sure of the proper procedure for take off and climb out such as how long to hold V2+15 and how to use N1 for climb out. Can someone explain how to take off and climb out or post a sight where to find this information. Thanks

Hi Randy, IZ and all others!Today I installed the V2 IFDG RR Transavia an began to merge (electrical section) as suggested by Randy. But what about the airfile?? Leave the IFDG or change again to the wilco one? What do you suggest. IZ, is your airfile fully compatible with the PIC panel?

Hi everyone! Is anyone else experiencing this? I can't start the left engine if I kill it in flight.Just to confirm, here's the procedure I use:If the blue bleed memo appears on the EICAS, I make sure all the isolation valves are closed (ie. letting air through), kill the two packs, select fuel flow to cutoff, switch the engine start switch to GND and at 20% N2 I select the cutoff switch to run. I get an EGT rise to around 231

hey guy's, just was wondewring where or if the PIC panel has a button to turn on the Pitot heat? I was fying out of PANC the other day in FS, and it got below -20 in climb out, with some clouds, and i thought, how do i turn on the Pitot Heat, so i can get correct Airspeed reading's? Just wanted ti know, if the PIC 767 panel had a button to turn this on?? or do i have to go by my keyboard assignment? Since i did not see an option for this on the PIC panel, or am i just blind? LOL, Thank's MIKE-:)

Which brand of SIDS are usually included in an FMC? I understand the vectored SIDS are usually missing, but for example, something like the London Heathrow MIDHURST SID? Is that normally included on a FMC database, or does the captain have to enter key points manually, or just fly the thing manually?I found these SIDS at navdata, but it is realistic to include them in my database?

Hello all,I alway's start in a cold cockpit. When I am in a hurry I start normaly the engines with 'auto start' wich I configured in FSUIPC.Since a few day's autostart won't start my engines anymore. The left one spools up...and after that it fals back and stops? The right engine does nothing?I already uninstalled the PIC and re-installed it again!...nothing helps? All I can do now is let the PIC startup with its engines running :(Someone a clue?N.B. I don't use a startup situation!Thanksvortovor

Hi Everyone-I'm curious if anyone has had this happen to them or if any advice can be given.I'm using the new IFDG 57's with the PIC Panel. When I lauch FS2K2, I shut down the planes to go through pre-flight and after 5 minutes of sitting on the ground going through pre-flight and loading the FMC, I lose VOR/Radio Frequencies/communication.(I can't hear the ATIS/ATC). I also lose the lights(position, stobes) in the plane as well. Really weird. I'm not sure if this is b/c of the PIC Panel working with IFDG or those planes themselves OR user error.Has this happened to anyone else using these planes with PIC? If so how did you fix? I'd be grateful if you could let me kn…

Since MS is coming out with a new Flight Sim that should be compatable with PIC (Thus making 767 PIC viable for at least another 2 years, I have yet to see anything that approaches it in realism with regard to the 767) , will any developers produce a virtual 3d cockpit for the 767 PIC? Any thoughts on thisChuck BerkebileAmerican AirlinesKORD

Iz I just wanted to know if the empty weight in the aircraft.cfg file of slightly more than 127,000 is the operating empty weight or is a realistic ZFW for the 757 because if it is the ZFW is this not rather light?

  18. Hi!Here's my problem: I have three monitors in my PIC setup. How can I make the PIC popup windows (ie. Throttles, FMC and Overhead) STICK to certain positions in certain monitors, so that each time when I open PIC aircraft, the windows would be in the same places opened and ready? Is the only option to save a flight ?thanks for the information!regardsTero

Users of Flight Deck Companion... make sure that you get the latest update (1.3.0.).It is now possible to use the checklist function for PIC.Any item in any checklist can now be used. All the relevant calls are there and it works great (Semi-Automatic Mode, only copilot voice enabled). The Checklists are called fast and efficient. You can even add more calls (Cabin-Secured etc.)The only minor thing is that for the Approach checklist in FDC use Decent Checklist, and for Final Checklist in FDC use Approach checklist.

Hi!After having flown this new beast first time online tonight, I noticed a few things that I'd like to ask about here. (I also posted to IFDG forum).1. The aircraft is able to maintain ~ 220 IAS with IDLE thrust, with flaps and gear up. I could slow the bird down to approach regime ONLY by lowering significant amount of flaps and the gear. Is this true to a real 752 behaviour ? It sure differs a LOT from the B763 I'm used to with PIC.2. Idle thrust TAXI is nice, but is it supposed to accelerate ? I can't keep the bird STILL even with parking brakes on.3. This is a model "issue" (and I'm not even sure if it is an issue), but anyways. When I parked at the gate, to perfectl…

Hello guys and gals,After reading about a number of strange occurrences and behaviors of (mostly PW-powered) B757's, I downloaded Matthew Murray's Dutchbird 757 (PW-powered).I discovered that my instructions to keep the associated AIRCRAFT.CFG with all released packages was not followed which is likely to be the reason of these strange behaviors.Since many parameters specified in the FDE file (.air file) are actually duplicate AND overridden in the AIRCRAFT.CFG file, old and wrong values were applied by Flight Simulator. I find this quite nonsensical that these parameters are present both in the FDE and in the .air file, it only sets people up for errors, such as here.To …
