Hello, I've some doubts in real/virtual procedures like takeoff and abort takeoff. So..1)The PIC 767 takeoff procedure should be: - Spoilers Armed - Flaps sets - Autobrakes: RTO - A/T Arm: ON - TMC: T/O mode - release brakes - throttles forwards to 70% until stable - press N1 to automatically set thrust to TMC T/O power or manually set throttles to TMC T/O power green marks (I prefer) - speed alive, 80, V1, Vr, V2, etc.. Now:IN CASE OF ABORT TAKEOFF before V1 with N1 pressed:I quickly set throttles to idle but.. N1 button remains pressed, so the engines power returns immediatly to T/O power: I must turn OFF A/T! Speed brakes not deployed and revers not eng…

Lee,I LOVE your new TCAS gauge however, it does not seem to work for me. The gauge itself it fine, but since I have installed it, I keep getting sqauwk box errors like this: AppName: squawkbox.exe AppVer: 2.3.0.5 ModName: user32.dllModVer: 5.1.2600.104 Offset: 0001a126I have tried reinstalling SB and reinstalled FSUIPC 2.95. The errors come not only with PIC but with any MSFS plane. If you have any advice, anyone, I would appriciate your help. Thanks!Putput28 :-wave

Dear Gentleman,I have a question about Autoland Modus. Everytime I intercept shortly above 1.500ft gnd the three Autopilots engage automaticly. Is it possible to disengage this automatic ?? At different Approaches the Pic start to early the FLARE Modus and I can

As I reach minimums I am still in cloud, and elect to carry out the published missed approach. The missed approach point is correctly displayed in the FMC as the next waypoint. I am not sure how to get the aircraft to climb for the missed approach point. Out of desperation, I disconnected the autothrottle and hand-flew the missed approach, but I'm sure there is a correct way.Any help? Thanks.

Folks:Ahh!! The benefits of living 5 minutes from home. Run over at lunch time and had the peanut butter sandwich there, while trying some of your suggestions.Paul H's solution, resolved the problem. I changed the refresh rate of AutoSave to 10 minutes, and flew for 15 with only one hesitation. What a pleasure!Thank you everybody for your interest and help, specially you Paul. Now I can go back to the dumb questions (I read the sections of the manuals before asking), like:1) How do I make the a/c track a radial with the a/p? You know, the "NAV" switch in all the "other" a/p's?2) How do I "turn off" the HDG SEL after I used it? Say I want to turn manualy for an approach, whi…

Hi all,(first question:)could somebody help me how to change the Engine Indigation of this amazing aircraft from N1 to EPR.Is it possible to do it by myself, and would that be legal or not? - because i have an AOM for B767-300ER with PW4060/PW4062 Engines, wich uses EPR as Thrust Indication.(and the second one:)i know there is a gauge wich allows you to undock the CRT displays but i can

FS2002, 767 PIC/POSKYHello, only few questions, please ;-)1) The indicator of the wind in the EICAS not displaies the direction of the wind but only the speed. Is it normal for B763?2) There is no indications on the various display of the "spoilers Armed" or "deployed": I must watch the pedestal to know the condition of the airbrakes! Is it normal? 3) FMC reads the flight plans from the FS2002/Pilots/ folder, but in FS2002 the default store path for flight plans is FS2002/flights/etc.. Have I to copy everytime my flight plan from this folder to FS2002/pilots/ ? Thank you and sorry for my english.MirkoITALY

On descent for landing with the PIC 767, at about 5000 ft. the screen turns white even during blue sky conditions. This makes the landing difficult even with the auto land system. Visibility is essentially limited to the length of the aircraft. On auto land the runway becomes visible underneath the aircraft at about 100 ft. altitude, the white runway line are visible underneath the aircraft and it is possible to guide the aircraft to a stop. Using Pause, Removing All Weather, visibility is recovered again (of course). I played with the settings in Fsuipc(2.972) under Visibility without any success. I have seen this white out problem before with other aircraft but I have …

I got hooked when I controlled a gaggle of 767's following Mike B. into Bolivia. I am now trying to fly the 767.I soon remebered fly I stopped flying it soon after I got the PIC.I have a problem with the simulation, which introduces a 2-3 second hesitation every 2 or 3 minutes of simulation. It happens with the PIC767 and also with the PIC-POSKY767 (that I managed to merge successfully). It happens in panel, spot or tower views, during taxi, climb, cruise and descent. My frame rates are running betweeen 25 and 30. When the hesitation occurs the entire display freezes for the 2-3 secs. but it does not indicate a frame rate drop (it should actually go to zero, shouldn't it?)I …

For example: if you have to do an outbound until 8 miles out and then start a turn inbound, the LNAV starts the turn 6 miles out or even before that, it then draws the curve before the 2 waypoints. In this example you type VOR030/8 and next VOR360/8, it does something like on the drawing. Can anyone explain how to let it fly over the waypoint and start to turn after 8 DME?(the black line is the desired track, the pink one is what FMS makes of it).

Since a couple of days I cannot longer enter a temperature for derated take-off power. I enter a number, but the LSK2L just blanks again and on the upper EICAS the letters DER-Take off won

Ok here I go :-)What exactly drifts in the IRS?Is it only the position, ie. latitude and longitude or also groundspeed?I've been thinking of this, and what I think is that the groundspeed is basically a "drift factor". If IRS1 has a much higher groundspeed than IRS2 and IRS3, you can assume IRS1 will drift much faster/further than IRS2 and IRS3, as when you integrate the groundspeed over time, you get distance you flew in that time and thus the "position offset". Right? Thus the groundspeed of a specific IRS will not drift over time, it will only display a different value than the other IRS's throughout the flight?Hope this makes sense :-)Thanks,Mark

Hi. i downloaded the ifdg 757 and gave it a spin. Did anyone notice that it seemed a little bit underpowered. With a light fuel load it struggled to climb to 32. Boeing has claimed that it has the record for takeoff to cruise time. For its wieght i think the real aircraft is overpowered.

In the Basic PIC aircraft rudder provides yaw only, but in my PIC-POSKY aircraft the rudder provides more bank then yaw. (Y/D off and 'elevator_effectiveness=4.0' in the aircraft config). That makes slipping and skidding to line up for landing rather hard.Is anybody else experiencing this and is there a fix ???

The last two days that I've flown I've used the IFDG 757 with PIC 767, my NAV1/NAV2 receivers haven't been receiving anything and I can't tell what the problem is.. no matter what frequency I tune nothing happens. Any ideas?http://www.dr3w.net/wut.jpgDrew Anderson- [email protected]

Hi Iz,I noticed that you can see all the lights on the wingviewwith the pw model and pw airfile.Flashing strobes, red and green navigation lights and so on.But with the rr model I'm only able to see the wight navigation and strobe light. Also: With the pw model I can't 'walk' back in the virtual cockpit view as far as in the rr model. In the rr model you can sit next to the engines. What must I do to have the same view with all the lights on the rr model and the ability to walk further to the back? I'd like to see all the lights with the wingview!Keep up the great workChristiaan Gorter

Is this group even still around? I suspect that they have probably gone on with life, pursuing other things. I know that happens to all of us at sometime. I know Wade periodically post here once in a blue moon, but Eric and the others I suspect have moved on. The amount of energy, time and money to develope anything for FS these days, especially when it will be heavily compared to the original, I am sure is prohibitive. Either that or they triple their development team. Its late, I was just thinking outloud here. Thanks for the read.

Many folks seem to be having a problem either finding the merge files or installing them correctly so here is how I do it.1] Go here and get a merge file. If you have a POSKY GMAX 767-300 aircraft, get the POSKY v3 {gmax}767-300. http://www.sls.lcs.mit.edu/ilh/767pic/2] If you don't have one, go here and download a POSKY 767 {Open Sky} aircraft. http://www.projectopensky.com/downloads-index.php3] Here comes the fun part. Unzip the MERGE file, best to put it on your desktop. You will want to rename it. I rename the folder to what aircraft I am merging so lets say we have a American 767. I name it thus: B763 PIC POSKY3 American Airlines You can name it anything you wi…

Hi,Read the thread in this link.http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.ph...&highlight=VrefAfter reading this thread a few months back, I have now incorporated some of the stuff in it into my SOP for PIC.Example, Airtours(MYTravel) & JMC both enter V2+15 speed and 3000ft into the VNAV climb page as a speed restriction.British Airways use V2+15 and 1000ft.By doing this and arming VNAV before Take Off in PIC, you can gaurantee that the Autothrottle and aircraft will never exceed the V2+15 speed until reaching the Altitude you entered as your acceleration height.Notice also that CLB Thrust is selected passing 1500ft.Mark
