How can I save a situation to use later? I had no problems in FS2k2 only in PIC767.When I try to save I'm dumped out of FS2k2. This happened before I installed the third party patch as well as after.I'm using the latest version of FSUIPC. I'm sure all you experts must have an answer because Wilco Pub doesn't;they just said to ask here.(Great support!!)Thanks

I've been told to use the PIC/POSKY Merge File on FS2002 to eliminate scenery errors. Can anyone please provide me with a link to download it? Thank you.

I have finally been able to load the 767 PIC with FS2002 correct patch and got the program to work. Now I getting a wierd error message when FS2002 starts up using 767 PIC. The message is "Scenery library object not found. This may cause some scenery such as some buildings to not display." And then it lists a bunch of ID's which I assume are the scenery objects. This screen comes up several times with different IDs listing. I click ok on each screen and eventually FS2002 loads with the 767 cockpit. Everything seems to work well until I fly and apparently come into one of those areas where the scenery fails and I get the same error message. This does not happen wit…

Need some advice plse.Looking at connecting a laptop upto my home computer.Home computer currently has a Cable Modem hooked up.Can I use a USB cable to connect the 2 together, or do I need to get a Network Kit.Also do I need to get a Router to allow the 2 to use the Internet Connection, or can I just transfer Wx programme, Squawkbox etc over to the Laptop and using WideFS get them to work.ThanksMark

I know there are a few more threads about this subject but they start to get difficult to read with all those messages! :-)I took the new babe for a test ride last night. Of course I merged the looks with the brain and attached her beautyful looks to the inteligence of the PIC panel. ;-)The babe wore the Rolls Royce engines and the Air2000 Livery. Flight was LGIR-LGAV, a long enough flight to get the feeling, but not too long.These are my comments on the flight. Grrrr.... For my first Vatsim pic767 event, I could not finished by flight as FS2002 crashed! :-bangI was on my way from LGAV to LFPG, 20 miles before TINIL, FL380, having followed MEP282 most of the time, and every thing was ok except that for 20' last minutes before the crash, FS2002 was going on Pause mode each time a text communication was broadcasted. Is there anything I could do to prevent this to happen?Was FS2002 tired having started at 6:00am local time, or does-it happen also to you sometimes?Fs2002 eventually crashed, leaving me alone with my frustration.:'(Anyway, my flights from LCPH to LGAV and then from LGAV to ...TINIL (!!) were a lot of fun:- many thanks…

I was in Toronto on business this week and was lucky enough to be able to meet face-to-face with some friends who enjoy PIC.We had supper at a greek restaurant near Pearson airport (CYYZ). Hi everyone,Sorry if this is off topic - What would you say are the minimum PIC767 skills needed to try a flight on VATSIM? I have the necessary programs setup and configured -Squawkbox Main program, SBHost, ServInfo to see where the active areas are, Roger Wilco for voice. I have printed out the tutorials on getting started on VATSIM and think I'm confident in the basics.I'm a big fan of the PIC product and believe I've progressed to the point where I know the automatics fairly well. I have all patches installed and i was wondering, how do i leave FS so that the next time i load it ? it is cold and dark. Normally, i would save a flight ( not as default ) then when i select Fs..the default flight loads, then i select the saved flight that i want to fly.With the pIC 767, when i save it Cold and dark, and i load it up again, everything is running, including the engines! :(.Any help on this topic would be appreciated!Thanks !

I am having a most annoying problem. I use the autothrottles for takeoff (n1 mode). 50% of the time, I get part of the way down the runway, the FMA says THR HOLD, and after a few seconds, the engines spool down and I am forced to abort my takeoff. What could cause this to happen? I am not using RTO. Is there something built into the PIC that would abort the takeoff. An aircraft configuration issue? If so, why is there no EICAS message?

Hi guysI downloaded the SEARTCC zip file with SID/STARs a long time ago and eveything worked fine. Now I've begun to download the SIOD/STARs from Navdata. But sure enough the flight sim crashes ever so often because of the (I guess known) bug when you have the waypoint both in the active flightplan and the STAR.My question is really this; Is there a way to avoid these crashes or do I have to stick with old STARs?Thanks

One thing I would worry about would be stutters as the program polls FS every 10 secs to decide whether a failure should occur. PIC on VATSIM Sunday 2-23-2003I have settled on a date for the PIC on VATSIM flight featuring a fly-in to Athens LGAV and an outbound trip to Paris LFPG. The timing matches up with a UK event that also will be flying into Paris from the east. The flights will start at three different airports beginning at 1430 Zulu on February 23. The idea is to ease congestion at the originating fields and put us on three separate STARS into Athens. Hi all,I searched the forum for this and could not find anything.I set up a B762 this morning for our big flight tomorrow.Thanks to Lee's merge it was all painless, everything worked perfect.The only issue:Flap indicators do not seem to work. They won't move at all. I can hear my flap level clicking, I can actually confirm the flaps are in fact moving and in the correct positions. I can also control them using the alternate flap controls. There is no indication that the indicator has failed.The question - is this a common occurence? A bug in the merge, a bug in my brain, or just something weird?Ian Elchitz CYWG
