HiI'm increasingly beginning to notice the rapid (unrealistic) acceleration of PIC on the take-off roll. It gains speed far too quickly and as a result, maintaining V2+15 until Aa requires a major speed reduction because by the time the aircraft has rotated the speed is way past V2+15. I was thinking that this maybe something to do with the friction coefficents that MS got wrong, hence the reason for high %N1 taxi power needed? Anyone?

While messing around with speed settings tonight on the climb page I noticed that even though I was climbing through FL220 the transition "250/10000" was still displayed on the climb page? This should be removed by the FMC upon reaching the transition. Anyone know why this is still showing? Thanks.Best Wishes,Randy J. Hi everyone,I like to have the ability to hand fly the bird, so for 767PIC does anyone know where I can get a list of which pitch and power settings to use for various phases of flight? For example what should the pitch/power settings be for these phases of flight(did I leave any crucial ones out?)takeoffclimbcruisedescentapproachprecision approachnon precision approachWhen I first started simming way back I used the program ATP (anyone remember that one?) and the manual had a very useful insert on which pitch and fuel flow settings should be used for the various phases of flight. (The automatics were very limited on that program) I realize the settings will vary depending…

Been looking over the CDG arrival charts.RNAV STARS and TRANSITIONS are used at CDG.Simultaneous ILS approaches are in use, along with a simultaneous approach at LFBG.Holding Procedure:Above FL140- 1:30 legs 240 knotsBelow FL140- 1:00 legs 220 knotsAs we are apporaching from the South and the Vatsim UK event is approaching from the North we can expect to see the simultaneous approaches being used.Mark

Hello all, I deeply apologize if this has already been brought up or discussed by anyone; I did a search and couldn't find any posts about it, so here goes:When I try to use the PIC panel with third party aircraft such as the Posky 767 or IFDG 757, I can't get it to feed from the wing tanks. The fuel selector in FS will always revert back to the center tank only, even if I select "all." This is the case even after installing the PIC patch for FS2002, the patch for 3rd party aircraft as well as the latest FSUIPC.DLL. Am I the only one having this problem? Any help would be deeply appreciated. Thanks!Chris

Hi folks,Does anyone know where I can find a really good, step-by-step tutorial on the PIC 767? Not just one that covers the FMC, but one that takes you step-by-step through a simulated flight? Thanks in advance!

Hey guys,It's been a while since I've posted....sorry, but I've been extremely busy. Here are a few pics from my last trip. It was a "3-dayer"...KMSP-PANC, PANC-KMSP-KMKE, KMKE-KDTW-KMCO-KMSP. We saw everthing from crystal clear Alaskan skies, to snowbound Michigan getting the backside "wrap around" effect from the blizzard that hammered the east coast this last weekend, to sunny Florida.http://images.andale.com/f2/109/127/632235...29_P2150012.jpgI thought this was a cool picture...it shows the "pull out" sun shades on the newer model 757s. We're at FL390 a couple of hundred miles from ANC. That's the gulf of Alaska you're looking at.http://images.andale.com/f2/109/127/632…

So much for a "Mini" PIC/VATSIM event, huh Mike? :-lolHehe...What a riot! 21 arrivals and 7 departures at LaPaz...We were parkin' in the grass. :)Thanks for putting it together Mike...I can't speak for everyone, but I sure had a blast seeing all those targets converge into SLLP!Here are some shots:Man look at that loooong train!...I was coming in from the West. :)http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3e559d20593e87b3.jpgHere's the LAB 767...I got special permission from the painter to fly her on this hop! :-lolhttp://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3e559d3c599fd5dc.jpgAnother shot of the train with me & JJ sneaking in from the west.http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/Use…

HiIs it possible to run PIC with 2 altimeters?Or (as I think) is it beyond FS2K2, maybe confusing it?EDIT: I should add 2 altimeters that work independently of each other.

I have programmed the mixture axis on my yoke to control the thrust reversers through FSUIPC (propeller axis controls spoilers, btw). Now, when I touchdown (throttle on idle), I first extend spoilers and then pull the thr reverser lever. However, I can never get it to activate this way. On the other hand, when I test it parked at the gate, it does work (the engine gauges show REV). I also notice that the reverser extends the spoilers automatically, but I assume this is right. What am I doing wrong here ?One other question. Is there a way to control the nose gear independently of the rudder ? I would like to be able to steer the a/c on taxi with a different device than the…

All this talk about new 757s vs. 767s with the PIC panel is wearing me down gang. Lets get these birds flight certified and fly them. I have a nice little evening planned next week and I would like any of you who are free that evening to join me.I was chatting on VATSIM with an old friend, Roberto Stopnicki. He was controlling on the approach frequency down in La Paz. They are open for traffic down there every Thursday night and I thought it would be cool for some of us to pay them a visit next week. La Paz is 13,300 feet above sea level with mountains all around. It should prove to be a fun evening.Since everyone

Hey guys,As some of you might be aware, I've turned in my captain's hat for a paintbrush for a bit and got inspired when I read Mike's message talking about this next mini-session.Being the curious person I am, when he mentioned Lloyd Aereo Boliviano (LAB) airlines, I went out to airliners.net and found this pic:http://www.airliners.net/open.file/304193/L/(if the link is down, don't worry, airliners.net has been flakey since I started painting a few days ago...not a good sign!) So I asked myself..."Could I paint that thing and have it ready before this event so all the guys could fly a local bird (and a change of pace from the mainstream airlines)?" Sadley, I won't have …
