I have sent Terry an e-mail message concerning my problem, am wondering if anyone else is experiencing this problem. With the download zip that includes the RunTime files I always get an error in Kernel32.dll from the setup screen after clicking OK to the destination folder and group the setup file chooses (C:program filesFreePICEditor235). With the download zip that doesn't include the RunTime files, When executing the FreePICEditor.exe file, it will create an .ini file but the program won't open.Anyone with any ideas? Hi Guy's,I'd like to know if it's possible (and how's it accomplished) to de-activate the Auto Pilot and FMC within 767 PIC so that I can continue to use (over my network) Project Magenta's Glass Cockpit Software?Regards,[email protected]

I saw this fix a few years ago, but I forgot how to do it. How do you get the Red Parking Brake/Brake sign to not show up? I know this is kinda off subject, but PIC is so great, who wants a red bar across the bottom of the screen? Thats what the EICAS is for! ;)ThanksBryan

Hallo! Some weeks ago I read one of these dramatic flight incident reports. It tells about a controlled flight into terrain. The pilot wants to continue the route with the FMC after flying few minutes by heading select mode. This was during approach with mountains in the vicinity. The pilot activates the route beginning with one waypoint ahead - but in fact the aircraft had already flown over the waypoint in the meantime. So the aircraft starts a left turn immediatly to catch the waypoint. The time to the impact was too short - the crew had no chance.Yesterday on my flight from Iraklion to Vienna when I was playing around with the holding page of the 767PIC FMC I experienc…

Good morning all and HAPPY CANADA DAY EH! for my fellow brave and weary canucks.I am helping to organize the computer setup for the VATSIM convention in a few weekends and I've asked that a PC be dedicated for an around the world flight... or as close as we can get in 48 hours =) We will be of course utilizing the PIC767 for our flight model. No doubt some PEPSI should be stationed near that PC for some caffeine assistance during the wee hours. Hopefully someone will bring charts or the PC will be fully loaded with SIDs/STARs for those countries that we checkout. I know some of you fellow PIC767-addicts will be in attendance (Mr. Hall, Mr. Bevington, Mr. Sousa, Mr. An…

Fortunately, not how ;-), but when? I've been flying around in PIC since FS2000 and have always pushed back at the end of 'Cockpit Prep - Final', but with the advent of ATC, I got to wondering... If you have to get your start clearance after the FMC/Speed bug question, it's normal to obtain pushback clearance before start, hence do I pushback at this point? In the grand scheme of things, it's trivia, but it adds to the authenticity!GeoffPS Does anybody know what the available Airline callsigns are or if there are any out there (like Speedbird!)

I haven't had the chance to have a good look at the Air Canada 767's which fly into Sydney these days, but I did notice the other day that they have a Satcom antenna mounted on the roof. Would anyone know if this is for full voice communications? Is satellite communication available in the cabin for pax use?http://www.ozemail.com.au/~iriddell/SatcomAntenna2.jpgThe smaller, similar shaped antennae behind this are, by the way, ADF antennae.Thanks.Cheers.Ian.

Hi all,in the past few days I noticed a strange phenomenon when using PIC. First, when I start up with a cold and dark cockpit (I usually select one of the 'First Delivery' options), the 'No Autoland' light is lit up. Then, during approach, I lose the autothrottle (I think it's when lowering flaps to 15, but not quite sure). I can then manually control the speed, even if the A/T is armed and 'SPD' mode selected. However, on touchdown it suddenly comes back alive and wants to speed up. (Also, it does not object to performing an autoland with A/T disengaged. Can this be done in the real plane, or is it a bug as well?) I recently installed a new sound card, and obviously som…

Well I upgraded my machine and decided since it's so fast now, I could drop win98 and goto win2000pro without seeing any hit in gaming performance like my old amd500 showed.I loaded fs2002 then pic767, then pic767 2002 patch on a clean, empty, formatted h/d and when I try to load PIC767 I get a gauge compatiblity error box pop up about a 1000 times !?, then finally the panel loads with everything working except the air speed gauge. Can I fix this ? How ? :)Thanks

I have downloaded all the new files from Mike's website and installed and when the 757 comes up and I go to the post view I have no radio's,any ideas? The panel is there but no numbers in the radio's, I tried to upload a jpeg put every time I tried I got a SCRIPT ERROR!!! from AVSIM. Jeff

Hi,I'm running the desktop in 1024x768, but FS2002 in fullscreen using 1280x1024. When I bring up any of the dialogs under the 'PIC' menu item (e.g. the 'About' box), the Windows taskbar appears and does not go away again. It seems as if it appears at its 1024x768 position within the 1280x1024 FS2002 fullscreen surface. It even does the auto-hiding as I set it to for the desktop, however it does not disappear, just moves up/down a bit.The only way to get rid of this is to alt-enter twice (switch back to window mode and back to fullscreen mode).I run FS in a higher resolution for image quality reasons, but for day-to-day work, I don't want to run the desktop in 1280x1024. A…
