I just downloaded LAX SIDs from www.navdata.at. However, there is a significant problem because the Gorman Two departure is not available. It's listed, but when I select ANY runway, it is no longer an option. Additionally, KOAK's SID/STAR database does not contain any current procedures. Has anyone else noticed a lack of SID/STAR files for PIC? Why is PSS's Airbus database so comprehensive compared to PIC? Thanks for your insight.

Is anybody else suffering from Eyestrain with Windows XP? Having upgraded my system I am suffereing from really bad eyestrain having checked my refresh rates they are an appalling 60 MHZ!My previous WIn98Se system with a Geforce2 gave refresh rates up to 144Mhz. What on earth is going on Microsoft?Having seen various websites recently it appears that not enough pressure is being put on Microsoft to do something about this.System:AMD 2100 512 MB PC RAM, Geforce4 4600Ti 29.41 latest drivers, windows XP.Best wishesChrisEGBB

I'm starting to get slightly comfortable with the FMC and downloaded some flight plans that are compatible with it. I was wondering if there was a way you could reverse the plan for a return flight? I didn't notice anything in the manual about it but I was curious in case there was a way to do it. Thanks!

When I press the N1/EPR button at takeoff, thrust setting does not match the green reference thrust number over N1 on the upper EICAS, but it's higher. If the number is, for istance, 107.6, the thrust stabilizes at 180.5. This happens either I use EEC or not. No joystick used.Why??If I press CLB or CRZ or CON on the Thrust rating panel, the respective reference thrust is respected.Thanks,Luca

all right guys, i have seem people talking a lot about the yaw dumper, and it's affectiveness on the rudder. i have had my problems that just about everybody is familiar with, the rudder's stiffness. at one time i was unable to stire the aircraft on the ground, untill i turn the the dumpers on, and from old FS studies, i think that i read that the dumper should be off during take off climb and landing. and i learned lately from previews posts, that turining the dumper off, during landing comes great for crosswind landing, like pedro said. and i tried it and it worked it made my 767 moves like the deffault 172. but at least i am making sure that my aircraft, will be on the…

Hi all,I'm a new poster here, a big fan of PIC 767, and hope to do as mentioned in the subject line.Now as I understand things, I need to have the waypoints that define the north atlantic tracks in the FS2002 waypoint database, so that I can first make up the FS2002 IFR flight plan that is required for ATC. Problem is they are not there (examples: SCROD, 5050N, 3040N etc.) I'm not sure I want to get bogged down in a full scale flight planner like FS Nav or FSBuild at this point since I don't mind doing my own planning. All I need is 40 or 50 waypoints that I can use to make up reasonable tracks. So the first question is: Is there a way to add these manually to the FS2…

Kinda a peculiar problem...whenever I start the 767 up, and I tune into the ATIS frequency, it starts skippin, and then when I tune to Clearance, I hear a little "click" and then I can't contact ANYONE!!!!! I've tried to find what went "click", but I can't find what it is!! Everything is fine, but I can't make any ATC contact! And further, the MOMENT I switch planes to a non PIC panel plane, it works FINE! Any ideas?!!!

Has anyone else had this problem, where you file a IFR flight plan, follow it to a "T", start getting vector instructions from ATC, then all of a sudden, you fly right past the active runway. It appears ATC just stops working, and no, I have not cancelled my IFR flight plan. In fact I have to cancel my IFR flight plan in order to get switched to the tower frequency. This has happen three times now, and so far only when using 767Pic. When this problem occurs, you can do anything you want, descend, climb, turn, and ATC doesn't careAnyone else seen this strange problem?

hey guys i'm having porblems wit the 767 panel ,it locks up the flight controls when i make a turn on ground with a yaw rate that is 100%(=full deflection of joystick). also sometimes i have this with 'excessive' pitch or bank.. anybody have this, and has n e one got a solutionlike to set the joystick so that the max deflection doesn't represent max movement in the sim??Thanks in advance(i have this both with the posky and the default model and NOT with any other panel, so it has to be PIC related...)

Anyone out there know a definitive method of getting the (767 POSKY aircraft) "tail to illuminate" at night time?There is no switch on the PIC767 panel that initiates this, and therefore when flying at night in FS2K2 (pro edition)with the POSKY 767 you will not see the tail iiluminate which is a shame as it is a nice and realistic feature.Appreciate any help.Regards,767

La Paz and El Dorado airports are over ten thousand feets high, even with a very light load rotating at V2 causes tail strikes. What is the real life procedures when at high altitude airports? can I trick the FMC into calculating a higher Rotation speed changing Take off weight data?

After installing FS Scenery Enhancer *and* Lago's EHAM 2002 I exprienced shimmering/flickering of the runway/taxiway textures.This occurs on all airports except for EHAM.(leading me to the conclusion that EHAM 2002 causes it...)After some experimenting I saw that PIC was moved to priority 3 in the scemery library. Moving it back to 1st seemed to have solved the issue. Now PIC is #1, EHAM2002 is #2 and FSSE is #3.However...sometimes I still see the shimmering/flickering which I can resolve by just switching the FSSE scenery off and on again in the scen.lib. Hello 76(7) lovers...I had another strange FS crash yesterday that confirmed that some STARs may be causing crashes to FS for some strange reason.I had planned a flight from LGTS to LGRP. I had no SIDs for LGTS so departure would be flown manually. My last waypoint for the route was ASIMI, which would also be the first waypoint in the STAR.I went to the DEP/ARR page to insert the STAR for LGRP. I select rwy 25, as was in use at that time, and then ASIM1C as the arrival. Once I select the ASIM1C and without any other warning FS produced the usual error... "We are very sorry that you want to fly, but we can't let you do that. Go to sleep or do something else!"Same happe…

Hey guys...I'm probably being lazy and/or searching ineffectively, but, I'm trying to find real 767-300 checklists somewhere out there in Cyberspace.I know the manuals are on the CD... but, I'm talking more of a consolidated list that is more comprehensive. IE - The real ones.I'm aware of the checklist that's available for download on the efpanels site, but... there seems to be some flaws in it (like, not a check for disocnnecting external power). It's ok, but, I'd love to be able to use what the pilots use.If there's a site out there with this stuff, I'd love to know about it. Can anyone tell me in detail how pilots in real world use Sids, Stars and Approaches. I've used them in a while but im afraid im doing it wrong. Do you add it on the inital flight plan? I just purchased PIC and tried to merge it with POSKY. I downloaded the merger file, complied with the instructions and now, when I load the aircraft, I see the panel with no outside view. Can anyone shed some light on this matter? Thanks.

I just purchased PIC and I would like to use it with POSKY aircraft. I've been searching the threads and quite frankly, I'm confused about how to do this! I've installed PIC with the FS2002 patch and I've downloaded the POSKY aircraft ZIP files. Now what do I do? Do I need a program merger file? I just want some clarification on the latest method to merge these two programs. Your insight is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi all,I have a weird problem with the IRS system, which I never confronted in the FS2000 version of the panel. When I try to align the IRS by selecting the three IRU selector switches from OFF position to NAV position just nothing happens. Not either the FMC's POS INIT page asks me to enter coordinates and it seems that the whole IRS has blackout.Does anyone have any ideas how to get it to work as it is supposed to? Best regards TYJ
