Hey PIC'ersI saw that yet another person was having problems installing PIC to 2002, and Lee pointed him to the post that resolves it. (Thanks Lee, I was offline almost all day yesterday so I didn't see it until this morning)I have the instructions I created to resolve that problem on my hard drive (I don't want to type them up again :) ) As we all know, there are numerous questions that get asked here that would be well served by a FAQ. Based on the many private emails I get asking for help, I know that there are many users on this forum that rely on a lot of answers we provide here! :) (Side note: If you have emailed me for help in the past, you know that I will eventu…

Please, could someone help, as after I have deployed the speedbrakes in flight by dragging the lever down with the mouse, it is (almost) impossible to again retract the spoilers back to armed or full down position using the mouse. They cannot be pulled back more than half.BTW I

Hi, Have had problems with elevator and rudders making uncontrolled movements on the ground, after help from the forums here, the only cure I found that worked was to upgrade to the latest version of FSUIPC, however I have also read on other posts that someone cured the problem by rolling back to an earlier version as well, could this problem with rudder/elevator uncontrolled movements be caused by a bug in FSUPC which works incrementally. My PIC ran fine for about 3 months then each time I flew it again the problem got progressively worse. Is something in FSUIPC being written to each time we fly, which eventually causes a problem? It seems that by reinstalling with a …

I have just purchased a new computer and installed FS2000 and PIC767. Than I first removed FS2000 and than the 767. Now I tried to install the 767 again for use in FS2002 with the patch, but the installation shield only ask me wether I want to remove the PIC767 completely. I do so, but the uninstall shield cannot find the scenery.cfg file. What can I do to perform a new installation?Any suggestions are highly suggested. Missing flying the your aircraft!Andreas (now at EDDH)

I would appreciate comments from people, especially real 767 pilots, on what method they use to accelerate after a 'No speed' command from ATC on climb-out when using VNAV? I am assuming that the 250/10000 restriction in the FMS by default is also present in real ops. How do you over-ride it?Thanks,Dave.

When using pre-programmed SIDs in the FMC Route, they normally have the SID altitude restriction built in. Is this standard practice for real world operators? What is the accepted method when using VNAV to climb above the altitude restriction, when cleared to do so before the end of the SID is reached? Thanks,Fig

Hi all, since the update patch for FS2K2 I have the following problems:Reducing airspeed under 20.000 feet is almost impossible without using speedbreaks with more than V/S - 800.Fuel flow is much lower than before. FMC calculates, I

Hi alltoday I finally appreciate in all its glory 767PIC (and FS2002). Why? because I took the plunge and changed my MB for one that runs DDR memory instead of SDR. The difference is awesome there is no comparison. If your thinking of upgrading and running the old SDR consider first just changing your MB and Memory, UNBELIEVABLE. FLY SAFELY wings737

Hi to all online aviators!I'm wondering, how many, if any, of you guys participated at yesterday's Vatsim event at Frankfurt? If yes, please post your opinions, especially about the procedures and operations in use.I'm asking this, because this is probably one of the forums where the more experienced pilots hang out and want to hear their side of the event.I was one of the active controllers yesterday, and I must say that things got a little out of hand. We tried to mix two systems guiding the aircraft towards the ILS which didn't work out quite the way we wanted to, but we, at least I, did learn a lot! Please post any comments, opinions, critics, etc! Thanks,Mark

Hi,I assume that if i enter a temperature then the FMC will enter D-TO if the temp is high enough. However, I thought that higher temps have 'thinner' than colder air. Therefore i guess i'm asking if the air temp is hotter and thinner why does the FMC compute a lower thrust for take off.Any help appreciated.Carl

Good day folks, i fly 767PIC all the time, and i mostly do pilots only flights. i know that entering a ZFW of 245 in not really correct, do to the fact that 245 is the ZFW with full plane passengers and cargo. so will be possible to enter a lower weight, and if so let me know what are my numbers, from what to what please.Any Help Will Be Very Helpfull.

I am currently not able to add any number to my ZFW field in the FMC. I can't figure it out because it worked great until I upgraded my computer. It is driving me crazy. Any ideas would be very helpfull.

I have recently started using PIC in FS2002 and the other day, observed a strange phenomenon whilst watching a "spot-view" replay of my landing. The undercarriage started off in the down position but immediately retracted once the replay started. The replay showed the aircraft landing normaly (apart from the lack of wheels).Thinking this to be a one off, I tried several more times but the same thing kept happening (in all views). Has anyone else experienced this? Can I do anything to sort this out?

Hello Everyone,I have been flying with PIC for a few months now and love it! Starting to get the hang of it. Right now I am just starting a long KSFO-YSSY trip :)I need help with inputting manual Speed/Alt restrictions on the legs page. I read the manual and VNAV seems to work for me generally. What I tried to do was put manual restrictions in the form .800/FL390 at various waypoints for the step climb. It will not allow me to input either but gives an error "INVALID ENTRY."My VNAV Crz Alt is set to FL400 and all the manual restrictions are below this. It works to give a restriction in the form 308/FL390 but not with the Mach number.Any ideas?Thanks,BenUPS1021

Hi!I was just wondering if there has been any discussion of a future product? The PIC team has consistently raised the bar deliverying features that others said were not possible in MSFS. Hoping to see the bar raised again.....Thanks...BobP :)
