Good afternoon fellow airmen & womenI was just wondering whether or not anyone has purchased Captain Speaking for FS2002 yet. Also, if anyone has, can it be used properly with 767 PIC. Im really keen on purchasing this addon, but as I fly only the Boeing 767 in FS as I do in real life, I want to know that it will work correctly before I get my wallet out so to speak. Thanks allHappy flying - Virtual or real-world

I?m just curious on who has attempted this configuration. Since I?ve been flying the PIC767, all other 757/767 panels don?t compare. In order to use the PIC panel, you need to use the FMC and make major mods to the aircraft config. What I want to know is, what gauge file is it that makes PIC767 panel not work with say for example, FSNav. Is it the Autopilot panel and the EHSI. What I would like to do is use FSPanel Studio and make a few changes to my PIC767 panel so I can use it with my 767 and 757 panels. This way I don?t have to modify my aircraft cfg or move AIR files. Then I?ll have the best of both worlds. This would be for my own personal use.

This may be old news but for those of you looking for updated Star, Sids and transitions goto http://www.seaartcc.org/767pic/weps/weps.php?action=home or http://www.seaartcc.org/767pic/ where you can upload and download the various sids, stars, and runway transitions. The former site is more user friendly.Andy

Can I use, the BCRS option for example; if there's ILS only on the opposing heading/runway, will that work right ? And would this be done in real world flying ?

I'm an old PIC-expert :-), but now I've been flying with PSS320 and I'm not sure anymore who makes the BEST navdata for 767PIC. Is it Richard Stefan, Prabal or Jason?

Can someone help me with this one, I am unable to taxi as the rudders and all control surfaces are fluttering all the time. I have recalibrated the joystick, and the joystick outputs are steady, I get this problem on and off line but only with the PIC 767. The only way to stop the controls flapping is to turn off all the hydraulics!! When in the air the a/c flies OK on autopilot, and doesnt appear to have any problems. I have had the PIC for a few months now and this has only just started to happen. My sytem is top spec and I am using a Saitek usb Joystick

If you have not done so all ready, take a few minutes to complete the survey that is linked in the forum header. I did not even realize it was there till a few minutes ago. TAKE THE TIME! This is the least thing us PICers can do to support AVSIM for hosting this wonderfull service.

Hello,I've just received my 767 PIC and found it be a great product :)I'm running it under FS2002 and I haven't had any too disturbing problems with it except that it occasionally locks up my computer :(Also I've been getting some bad frame rates when I taxi a 767 PIC plane at large airports like LAX and JFK. Anyway, I didn't find much data for the 767-300ER / 767 PIC in the manual and I was wondering about the following things relating to 763ER:What is the simplified fuel amount for reserve fuel, taxi fuel etc.?What are the weights (empty,MZFW,MTW,max payload etc.)?I'm guessing the empty could be 179 000lbs and the MZFW 288 000lbs, because those are the minimum and maxi…

Hi can anyone tell me where I can go and find other people flying online with 767-PIC and 767-Posky planes? I fly a lot locally but would like to fly with other pilots. The only place I know of is the MSN Gaming Zone and most of the people in the FS2002 rooms don't have 767-PICIf you know of a virtual airline I can join or other place I can go to fly with other 767 Pilots please let me know.Thanks... Hi,i know that this is the PIC forum and not the wilco forum, but i think this is the best forum to ask:The German Publisher and Flightsim shop Aerosoft (German Airports, Eurowings Professional etc.) announced on their homepage (www.aerosoft.de) that Wilco will release a "great" A320. Will the PIC-Team develop the A320, or an other group ? Do you where i can find more informations about the A320? I can't find anything about it on the wilco homepage, but the homepage doesn't seem "up to date" to me.Thanks in Advance for your answers :) Bye, Holger

Probably something easy but nonetheless, unreachable at the moment. I can't lower any amount of flaps on the PIC/POSKY V.3 767-300 at all. There is no indication on the flap display dial & just the flap lever moved up or down as per the pressing of the F6 or F7 keys. Visually, in spot view I notice that just the leading edge slats lower & not the main trailing flaps. Seems strange because on the 767-200 merge i have as well, I get the proper indication in and out of the cockpit. Any insight or similar concerns? So I tried the take-off anyway with this problem in mind and on acceleration I received a warning indicatation informing me of the need for FLAPS CONFI…

I have and will continue to RTFM, but I'm outta ink until payday and without being able to refer to it while actually flying, I'm having trouble remembering things. On a descent, I choose FL CHG and it went idle thrust, maintained the airspeed by diving at about 4000fpm.This can't be right :)Pointers on realworld descents in this aircraft would be MOST appreciated. Also, where's the thingy (that's the technical term) for selecting thrust modes such as the transition from TO to climb thrust??thanks allmichael

Does anybody know if real 767 pilots use the autoland feature of the airplane? I have a couple of videos of 767 flights where the pilots would fly the airplane - intercept the localizer and then set the autopilot to fly the approach. A few miles short of the threshold, the pilot would disconnect and fly the airplane manually. Just wondering if anyone knows if real pilots actually allow the airplane to land by itself? Thanks.

If I hit E+1 or E+2 to individually control either engine with my PIC POSKY 767 I cannot then regain control of both engines by using E+1,2. Is this a known problem or is it peculiar to my set up? I don't generally have this problem with other aircraft though I've had it happen a few times with the MSFS 777.This was not a major problem until yesterday whem I accidentally hit the E key whilst in flight and then had to perform an emergency landing at the nearest available airport 'cos I'd lost all control of the starboard engine. I didn't hit 1 or 2 after hitting the E key, just hitting E on its own was enough :-(I'm running FS02 on winXP with an Athlon 1900+, GeF3 Ti500…

My question concerns the APU. Before takeoff I typically shutdown the APU. On the status page it shows the APU powering down and also the run light goes out on the overhead. Lately I have noticed that after I have shutdown the APU it seems to have started back up in flight. Is there a keystroke that I might be hitting to cause this? Not a real problem I just have not been able to figure it out.Mike

It constantly amazes me how so many people use different methods to achieve the same results. I love hearing little tidbits of what people do, I have adopted many - and others I have tried and thrown away. Here's one for all of you....Consider the approach chat for the Los Angeles Stadium Visual Runway 24R below

Hi everybody - I am totally intrigued by the great conversation going on with PIC. One question regarding SIDs and STARs ... with FS2002 ATC, you now get vectors on departure and on arrival. How do SIDs and STARs factor into the equation? If you program SIDs and STARs into the FMC and are following them in/out, would FS2002's ATC vectors be different making the SIDs and STARs no longer applicable?
