and have not been able to find exactly what I was looking for. I am aware of the PIC POSKY merge info (I have the files), but I have not done it yet. I understand the this will provide me viewable lighting from within the cockpit. But, I would like to know if there is any 767 with a virtual cockpit?If not, is it possible to merge PIC with the default 777 to get the cockpit?Thanks

Hi,I have just installed FS2002, PIC, the FS2002 patch for PIC and a POSKY aircraft (on which I have used Lees utility to merge it with PIC).However, the problem I will describe below is not related to the PIC/POSKY merge. It rather concerns only PIC aircraft (both default and PIC/POSKY). It does not concern POSKY-aircaft without PIC or default MS-aircraft.Also, I have tried to find an answer in the forums - without success.The problem is as follows. If I e.g. apply maximum rudder to the left, the rudder will not stay in that position. Instead it will fluctuate between max rudder to the left and max rudder to the right. Need some help. Recently added some new planes to the hanger(Camil's AA767, & POSKY's CA767). Having the same problem on both A/C. Everything loads up great when I start FS2000. All the "bells and whistle's" seem to work right up to the time when I turn the engines. I seem to lose oil pressure,hydraulics and some electrical systems, although no failures are set. Subsequently, I get complete engine shutdown. I've seen the postings for the POSKY merge and wondered if that was the problem. The readme file from the merge download refrences FS2002. Do I need to rework the config file for FS2000 also????

I was trying to create and save a f/p KDTW-KLAX. I got the SID in the f/p but when I tried to input the STAR, I went to the DEP-ARR page as stated in the manual but all it would display were the runway selections at DTW and the SID. I could not get an Arrivals index to input the STAR. Am I missing something? Also- is there a way to load and save multiple SIDs from a single airport without having to create a full route plan to go with it? I would like to do some data entry in one session instead of having to write in the SID before a trip in which I actually need it.

Hi to all,I come back again with new problem! :-(I had format my HD in order to do a clean installation of Win98 Millenium and of FS2002. ;-)I have istalled also MS Office pro, S-Combo, Fs-Meteo and I have patched WinMe by Windows Update.After all I installed PIC767 and Fs2k2 patch.Plane work well but I'not able to save a panel to flight with its own setting. The "save panel to flight" option also doesn't work (it is not able to look to any flight :-( ). When I save flight no information will be stored in *.flt file after autopilot section. There is also not any *.fmc file.I looked back for some posting about and I have found many people that have the same problem but no…

Enroute from KLAX to KIAH, FL350, autopilot is flying the plane just fine. The beautiful stewardess (my wife of course) sitting in the cockpit with me, downloading songs to her laptop, and a nice glass of cranberry juice (in preparation for a Lortab) notices a streak of white flash by the left window. Now, like everyone else (or maybe not) I hand-flew the a/c up to altitude, set the autopilot, started talking to center and then when they hand me off to the next center I just don't contact and then I can do other things. Can someone please cover off what parts of PIC are non-functional with FS 2002 so I don't bother thinking my install is not working.Additionally, is there anything I need to do apart from the FS 2002 patch from www.wilcopub.com?I don't have FS 2000, so I installed directly on top of FS 2002 then patched (767PilotinCommandPatchFS2002.exe).Rayps: I realize this have probably been asked a million times, but you gotta strart somewhere ;-)

I have updated the airlines.cfg so that all the call signs like American, Contintental, Delta etc are used for AI traffic. Included in the file is British Airways, Speedbird, Speed Bird. Unfortunately despite trying I am unable to get the call sign to change from 1123 Heavy to Speedbird 1123 heavy. I have checked FSEDIT, and the only call signs available are the defualt FS2K2 callsigns like Orbit etc, rather than the ones I have saved in the Airlines.cfg like American, delta etc.How can I change this?Many thanks Best [email protected]

Dear All,I have a MS Force Feedback 2 stick and want to try more hand flying with the 767. I am reasonably proficient at AP flying but now need to explore the product fully. The main problem that I have is that the trim buutons on the two small buutons on top of the stick next to the hat. If i press these buttons when the stick is in the neutral position it is difficult to stop the stick from moving and thus the a/c climbing or decsending. The stick seems too sensitive. I was hoping that I could put the stick into the middle position and adjust trim as needed. In this way you would relieve any pressure being put on the stick. Greetings Captains, There is something about VNAV which I am not understanding. My flight plan is from KBUF-CYYZ. Here it is, with the FMC alt/speed restrictions: KBUF. TRAVA. LINNG. UDMIK. XIGAM. DULPA. MOBEM. 250/7000 250/5000 180/2500 175/2000 172/2000 172/1900 RWY05 (CYYZ) 172/0569In any case, initially, my MCP ALT is set to cruise alt, in thiscase 7000. I depart and arm VNAV and LNAV. That part is fine, after the 1st waypoint TRAVA, I set my MCP ALT lower so that the FMC willinitiate a descent in VNAV mode. Having problems getting the aircraft to track the LOC in the standard "767 PIC Approach" into KBOS scenario. Usually no problems, but today I added "moderate wind at 035 deg" using the World Weather selection in FS2002. 5 miles from the upcoming waypoint, I select HDG HOLD and hit the APP button (all CMD buttons illuminate). I get LOC capture on ILS intercept, but the Heading Bug on the EHSI goes to "000" (not the runway heading) and the airplane veers to the left and never goes back to the LOC centerline (at most, there is only 5 knots crosswind).Is this a known anomaly?Thanks.Cheers.Ian.

Hi guys,finaly the moment has come .. i will be a passenger on a 767-300 for the first time ever .. when i went to the states before it was on a Continental DC-10 and back with a Sabena A330 .. but this time, I'll be on an American Airlines 767-300 .. i'm looking for a good flightplan for AA flight 89 EBBR-KORD .. i want to fly this flight in FS so i can compare it with real life .. thanx to anyone who can provide me with the infohappy landings!!BTW: Eric if you know the pilot who's flying AA flight 89 on june 19th, tell him a PIC-addict will be on board and that he wants to check out the cockpit ;-)

Hey! well I was just wondering.. I was landing @ KIAD with Ceiling of 200AGL. wind shear, rain, terbulence you name it... I had the ILS active, autopilot on, yet my autoland wasn't working, I pushed taht Autoland status thing? and it always says Auto land inactive or whatever it says.. so I decided to pus the 3 CMD buttons, still nothing. so plese help

Hi,If ATC clears you direct to a point where you intercept the LOC i.e an 8 mile final. Hi, I have been flying with PIC767 for some time witout any problem. FS2000, clean installation plus the update. Since a couple of days, I can no longer intercept the ILS properly. I only get the lateral, horizontal indicator, but no trace from the vertical indicator. Tried this with a couple of approaches and am pretty sure I must have done somethin stupid. Any idea what's wrong?Thanks for your help, Dieter

Is it possible to have manual control of the heading while flying on Autopilot Mode?? I cant seem to find the way to switch off the Heading Select or heading Hold feature of the Autopilot....Thanks for the Help!!Javier

HiDue to some fortuitous transactions in the market I am now able to realize a life long dream which is to be able to pursue a realworld PPL and beyond.The question I would like to ask is if anybody has information on the best training facilities in the PHL/South Jersey areas.I would like to do this but would like to stear clear of the run of the mill and learn from the best in this area of the U.S.My ultimate aim is to earn a CFI ticket and to do this on a full time basis.Any comments,questions,or information would be greatfully accepted.ThanksRon [email protected]
