Hi all,I don't see this question being asked in this forum, and I need help on this, thanks.I received a warning on "Unsched Stab Trim" while cruising, the warning repeatedly went off then came back again after awhile. The plane is in auto pilot flight and no unauthorised movement at all.Should I ignore this warning?I've tried to turn off the stab trim switch (beside fuel control), and the results was step climb, stall, then pick up speed again, then climb, stall....Pls tell me what should I do about the warning!Thank you for you kind help.

Sorry if this has been asked before!!Where can I change the ZFW in the Aircraft.cfg? I'm not sure of the exact position!! I'm running FS2002 and it seems that the cfg file is more complex than on FS2000!!!!Thanks,Francois

Hi,using FS2K2 english pro version and pic (without posky). Whenlanding at night there is a grey lighted area in front of theplane on the runway or taxiway when using the outside views (tower view or spot plane view). When I'm using the frontside panel view there is no light on the runway or taxiway. Using other cockpit views (e.g. front right) the runway/taxiway is lighted.Any chance to get a lighted runway when using the cockpit front view? It's difficult to taxi with these dark taxilights without a lighted taxiway...Perhaps someone has a solution for my problem, regards, Joe

Guys, Can anyone using RC tell me how much "workload" it gives you in regards to reroutes and holds in respect of traffic it generates? I did one of the sample situations yesterday and coming into KPHX from KABQ I only "saw" 2 other aircraft. I'm hoping that it actually works like a fully-loaded default AI traffic but without the idiots straying onto the runway or the taxi "crawls" which of course can now be got around. Thanks in advanceBest regards//Neil

How do you eliminate this on PIC? I've figured it out on other panels but I'm not sure which line in the panel .cgf needs to be deleted. For some reason, I've never been a fan of it. Drowns out everything else too much. Thanks!

Today I found a ND (Boeing style) with a TCAS, at Project Magenta`s Site. The TCAS shows AI and online aircrafts, and it works pretty well with PIC. The only little problem is that the program runs out of the FS2k2 and we have to place it on a second monitor to have acess to it, when running FS2k2 on full screen mode. The file`s name is pmTCAS and it

Which is the best way to slow down the 767? Is this using AirBrakes (but this is uncomfortable for the passengers), or is it by decreasing the V/S?Using Airbrakes also results in high descent rates, so you can end up keeping the same airspeed, but descending faster, which is not necessarily the wanted result!!!Francois

Since I'm just getting started on PIC (I always was a late bloomer) was was wondering what opinion some of you power users of the 767 think of the tutorial in the FMC manual. I've made a half harted attempt to follow it once and it didn't seem to flow very well.Should I make a serious attempt to slog through it on a Sat afternoon or is there a better (and/or shorter) tutorial that anyone knows about? Thanks in advance for the help.Matt

An interesting story was in our union magazine just recently. A 757, on a flight from Anchorage to Seattle suffered a complete electrical failure at 3AM over the Pacific Ocean. They had departed Anchorage with an MEL'd rightside IDG. An hour and twenty seven minutes into the flight, the leftside IDG also failed. The APU was running all this time and picked up the entire load immediately. Twenty minutes later, while they were in discussions with MX, the APU overheated and initiated an autoshutdown. Unfortunately, the HMG failed to kick in. Now they were left with just the peanut gauges and one cockpit lightbulb. The captain immediately turned the aircraft towards K…

A little story for anyone who's interested...http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/DCForumID47/4297.htmlAnd a question: Is it possible for the ailerons - and nothing else - to just fail like that? I guess, in theory, but you would have to have a lot of bad luck for that to happen!Martin767 fetishistIt's a lot like life and that's what's appealing

I wonder if someone can describe to me what the exact takeoff procedure is and how to accomplish this in the pic airplane ? My takeoff is as follows:When ready for takeoff:- Open throttle to about 70% n1- Wait for engines to stabilize, then pressing N1 to get full takeoff thrust.- On VR rotate, get the plane at about 10% noseup.- When off the ground I immediatly press SPD in order not to overspeed the airplane.- Gear up, and retract flaps on speeds.Im really concerned about me pressing the SPD too quick. I like a real procedure please ?? Thanks

Hey Mike or Lee:I'm using CH FlightSim Yoke and with Pic, regular or Posky merges, when I retard the throttle and hit the reverse button, it won't engage untill I advance the throtttle a little then retard it again. I've calibrated the throttle thru fsuipc and it's getting full travel. The N1 is about 25.3 at idle. However it takes forever to spool down from approx 54 or 55 to below 28. I've tried to engage the reversers on the ground at 29%N1 and it appears the reversers won't engage above 28%N1. on a normal approach at flare height of approx 50 Ft. and settling to approx 10 ft. then retard throttle for touchdown at descent rate of 50 to 100 fpm, by the time the N1 spool…
