Just noticed that the landing light switches and the four light switches above these in the "dead ship" (PIC Delivery Flight (Canada)) scenario don't move :-oIt seems that a few of the switches on this particular dead ship have been left in "unusual" positions. Just wondering if, on your airline, whether your engineers would leave the following switches in these positions:EEC switches off?C Elec Hydraulic pump switches on?Utility Busses off?YD switches off?Trim Air switch off?Recirc Fans off? Some pilots get a bit "excited" if they find some of their switches in non-standard positons ;-)Cheers.Ian.

Just wondering what powers the APU Bleed Valve and the Duct Pressure Indications in PIC...From a dead ship, I started up the APU, but deselected the APU generator before the APU came up to speed, leaving only Standby Power, Battery power and the Ground Handling Bus on-line. Strangely, I thought, I was getting pneumatic duct pressure indications... indicating that the APU bleed valve was open. Is this normal on a 767?Thanks.Cheers.Ian.

PIC Team, After the FS2K2 patch install everything works perfect with this release. All functions behave as well as I have every seen, even better than it did originally in FS2000.However, when I go to shut down FS2K2 with the PIC 767 as my default plane, I get a MSFS2K2 save error. The situation file is not saved properly. I have to manually reset the location file and then all is OK.Does anyone know what could cause this error? This problem only occurs with the PIC panel. Could there be a panel portion that is not saving correctly?Again, the panel from a function standpoint is just perfect in FS2002. Sure wouuld love to get this little problem solved.Bob JohnsonD…

Okey dokey, I guess requesting you email me if you are interested in downloading the aircraft was a BAD idea because I only figured a couple of people would be interested in it as opposed to the couple hundred or so that actually DID email me requesting the aircraft.Sooooo, Weds, I will simply post the link here. I will also upload the AC to Avsim as well as my server so as not to clog my poor (and Tom's) server. The aircraft you will be downloading IMHO is the best 757-200 for FS2002 to date (by Euroflight). I've tweaked the airfile just for the 767 PIC panel so that everything works as it's supposed to except the weight and balance in the FMC. All FS2002 strobes and b…

This post is basically the same as the other one I made, just thought I'd re-surface this matter because I can't seem to get it fixed and I just can't fly my 767 successfully through a flight, the deal is and first of all as I said before I fly with my keyboard..yup..yup I do :-kewl ,anyways what happens is that when lift or lower the elevator to it's max it will stay stuck there and wont let lose for awhile same goes for the rudder maxing it out to the left or the right thats where it sticks. Now I've installed the new version of the FSUPIC and I've tried to modify the cfg file and yet no success. Where would this problem be coming from?..the "cfg file","air file" or the…

After seeing your landing view from the previous post I was able to recreate it using your hint directions. "you'll have to crop the main panel yourself, paste some stuff into your panel.cfg, and make some copies of gauges". Only Im reciving an error each time I exit or switch aircraft in FS2002 (which causes FS2002 to restart) due to the MCP gauge entry in my panel.cfg.Do you recive any errors in your setup?this is my setup from panel.cfg:[Fixed Window37]file=B767Wlanding.bmpsize_mm=906, 396nomenu=1window_size=1.000,0.600render_3d_window=1visible=0ident=37gauge01=B767WAfds!MCP, 733, 15gauge02=B767WAfds!Nav1, 537, 24gauge03=B767WAfds!Autoland, …

I know real airliners fly with FMC's but is there a way i can fly the 767 like the FS default airliners using the autopilot?..Like me doing all the adjustments on the autopilot. I'm asking because there is no way i can change headings on the PIC autopilot like i can on the default planes or is there a way i just don't know about?

Free PIC Editor 2.33 crashes when I put the newest AIRAC 206 navdata from Richard Stefan's site into the FMCWP/navdata folder. It never did this with the old Jason Barlow data from the Wilco site... I really want to be able to make proceedure files using FPE for the new RNAV procedures at KPHX, but I can't because they're not in Jase's data... I've already emailed Richard about this and hopefully he can find a solution, but in the meantime do any of you know how to get it working?? There not really any descernable difference in the way the text files for the navaids, fixes etc look, they're the exact same formatting as far as I can tell. Thanks,Ryan

I have always wondered in 767pic, abiding by the laws of the "3 degrees in every second" pitch up rate...how are we supposed to maintain V2+15 after T/O until Accel Alt!? The aircraft always seems to keep on accelerating and it takes 20* BA to halt the speed, and by that time it's about 190kts...where V2 would be 145?Any tips?Piperpilot[br]767/757 Pilot-Wannabe[/b]

hey, I have done the proper start procedure on the 767 pic panel. apu on, fuel selectors in etc.. then you need to have the packs to off* and turn the start valve to the left. etc... my duct pressure IS AT 25 like it says to be at.. and my engines still wont start, so I went back over the start pro. and it is all correct. and still doesn't work, thank you

Hey Guys, I was wonderin what the North Atlantic tracks were and how Ican program these into the FMC to fly along the route. The captain in my 767 video talked about them and how they had to switch from track Delta to track Charlie on a count of heavy traffic, the flight was Gatewick to Orlando? Thanks, Tom

Pete Dowson has managed to identify the cause of and implement a fix to the full deflection rudder spike problem. The technical section of the forthcoming v2.87 will include an option to provide extra filtering of spurious rudder signals. Should be released within a day or two.

Does anyone else here use the 767 flight dispatcher? It's a nice free add on but I am having some problems and if anyone out there is able to get it to work please post here. I would like to ask you some questions! Thanks. Andy

PIC Team/Users,I'd like to ask if there is any 3rd party tutorials out there for the Pilot in Command 767? I know Wilco and/or PIC didn't make any but I know the product has a lot of users that may have created some. What I'm looking for in the way of tutorials would be a "Flight Tutorial", like the ones PSS release with their products. If anyone knows any websites where I can find flight tutorials please say so. Or even if any of you here have unreleased tutorials don't hesitate to send them my way :-).Thanks a lot. ____________________________________________________________________John MasseyBOS HUB Manager http://www.iol.ie/~shamrockstudios/Signature-norm.jpghttp://…

Visit http://www.oakartcc.org/cs5/ and get signed up for a flight or two on the California Screaming 5 Event. It begins Sunday at 1900 Zulu. Don't let me get over-run by the PSS and DreamFleet guys. I am signed up for 5 flights and I need some PIC company in the California Skys.If you are looking for a flight and are not sure about the equipment matchup, don't worry too much about it. Just go with the 767 and file you FP as usual, hey - it's virtual - right! Nothing is listed regarding just jumping in to the event with your regular callsign and your own flight. I suppose they are trying to keep delays at a minimum and are really not promoting that but I am sure there…

Hi all, here's the link for downloading my replacement sound.cfgfor 767PIC:http://stud.fh-wedel.de/~wi3557/tmp/sound.cfgPlease don't use the text of my last posting, the square brackets required by fs2002 have been replaced by avsim. Hope it works fine now and that you enjoy it.greetingsMalte

Hello to all, this morning I have read about the format of the sound.cfg file.I think the enclosed sound cfg is not realistic enough, so I made some changes to it. I'm quite satisfied with the result.- rrrrrrrrr-sound starts later and is not extremely loud- whine starts earlier, first quite silent and after 60% it gets much louder- air condition sound (767g.wav) re-enabled, so there's some background noise like in the real cockpit. If anyone wants to use it, just backup your 767 sound.cfg and replace all text in it by the following text. hope you like it!greetingsmalte[FLTSIM]product_code=FSIM[sOUND_ENGINE]number_of_engines=2eng1_combustion=COMBUSTION.1.00eng2_combustion=CO…

Hi Gentlemen, the AIRAC Cycle 0206 is now available from the NAVData-Homepage (http://www.navdata.at). Sorry for the very, very long delay and the two cycle which i had jumped over. Attention! I have only airports include which a runway-length of minimum 6000ft - it makes no sense to land on a gras runway ;-)Please backup your old navdata-directory in your 767PIC directory before you install the new one. When you found any bugs or your have any questions let me know.Ok, now have fun and expect now regular updates as in the future ...

Question,Just like a pilot must perform 1/X landings manually to stay current - does an aircraft have to perform CATIII approach 1/Y landings to keep the equipment certified?I just flew a full autoland into Las Vegas (ya it's funny the visual 19R gets old after 250 times or so ) and it was actually quite interesting to see how well the aircraft performs as I sit back and put my feet up .Ian Elchitz
