John KamphausHello everyone. I have a question. I an using Mike's 757 PIC merge and the N1 wont go past 99%. Is it supposed to be like that? Or is something wrong? Could somebody please help with this? Thanks.

Greetings,I have a problem getting the PIC off the ground. I have not had this problem with PIC since I bought it some time ago, this just started two days ago. When I attempt to lift off at rotation speed, the plane angles up, but won't leave the runway. It also sounds like the landing gear or something is clanging away. It only does this with the PIC aircraft. I also have Project Opensky aircraft in there and thought maybe the aircraft.cfg file was bad, so I changed that. Then I thought the airfile was bad, so I changed that.When nothing seemed to work, I completely uninstalled PIC, the PIC folder was also removed from FS2002. I did a fresh install and it still does…

Really looking forward to meeting fellow PIC-Heads and VATSIM-addicts at the convention tomorrow. FYI, Mr.YYZ (Dan Pergau) is flying CYOW-CYYZ tonight on CanJet flt 155 arriving 1915 T-3. I will be there to meet him, then it's off to Wendy's on Dixon/Dixie for some spotting and dinner. Dixon or Dixie Wendy's will be determined by arrival runway in use, 23 or 05.One of the prizes available at the convention will be the complete operating manuals and MEL for an L1011 - about 1500 pages in all...it's worth the trip to CYYZ ;-) ...plus I will have my world famous safety card collection for show and tell...cards dating back to 1972.Tally Ho. This was discussed in an earlier post and I'm still having trouble loading any of my Flight plans that I have generated with FS2002. I've tried everything from 8 characters to 10 characters. I've tried it with caps on and off and have renamed them and copied them from myfolder. I've placed them into the pilots folder and also into the FMCWP-Navdata-Flightplans. I've renamed the flight plan KMEMKSFO.PLN and also with out the pln extension. I've also named it KMEMKSFO01. I've also used different airports. I've even had trouble loading some of the flight plans that came with PIC. Sometimes they will load and sometimnes they won't. Any ideas? My next move is to remo…

Hi there. When I press to display the coordinates, it says something like this:N40* 37.75' W73* 46.19'how should I enter this in the IRS display, when I try, I can't get all the numbers and letters in on the correct way !And after you've entered the coordinates, how do you start the alignment ?

After enjoying 767PIC for a long time on FS2K I finally broke down and got FS2k2. Just reloaded PIC along with the FS2K2 patch and all appears OK except my G/S indicator bug is missing. The scale itself is present but the actual GS bug isn't there. Any ideas?I also would like to know where to get the Pegasus EADI that I previously had. Can't for the life of me locate it on the web now. Any help appreciated.Joe T

hi.I got my copy of PIC767 today and installed it to FS2002STD.I also installed the official update from Wilco.When I start FS2002 it displays the 3rd party warning message about AdvDisplay.dll and B767W.dll modules.I got the aircraft, modules and gauges all in the right places. If I click yes on the warning at startup FS2002 wont start at all :( and if I click no I can open the aircraft in FS2002 menu but while it loads the aircraft it wont load the gauges although they are in the right folder.What did I do wrong ? I installed using the automatic and manual install and can't get it working even with update on FS2002.thanks in advanceJani

This logic behind the sounding of Rad Alt height callouts was a topic brought up and answered on the PPRuNe site, but I am still none the wiser...My old 747-400 notes mention that the RA height callouts are armed when the aircraft climbs above 1000' and each callout will only sound once below this height (not good if you're a bad flyer or flying over undulating ground). My notes also mention that the landing gear lever should be in the down position. However, there is no mention of this landing gear lever input in either the 767 or the 747-400 Boeing Maintenance Manuals. Does anyone know how much a real IRU would drift during a flight? I find it hard to believe that a real flight would operate with the IRU drift PIC simulates. By the end of any flight over about 3 hrs, I seem to be on radio navigation as the IRUs have drifted to 10 or 15 minutes off. This is espcially scary over the Atlantic when I'm on IRS nav only. I don't think this is my problem, as my IRS always starts perfectly aligned.Any thoughts?

Hi,After a major system crash, I had to reinstall PIC.When openeing the FMC I get a 'FUEL DISAGREE - PROG 2/2' error (see image). Can't get into the FMC menu nor program any route. Anyone else encountered this and what's the remedy ?Thanks,Smalco

Fellow PICsters I am desperate. After many years I have by first MS flight sim crash situation. I tried installing an updated version of FS Nav. Then when I got into FS2k2, I noticed that I was not at my default gate at Newark. No prob, I'll just move. THEN a window pops up, to wit:"The Scenery Library Object Not Found, This May Cause Some Scenery, Such as Buildings, to not display" Then "ID xx.0000.xxxxx5, 0x0504,.0x57494c43". I hit "OK" and then it pops up again, with one digit changed in the "ID" then "OK" button again, then again and again again, OK OK OK,.But Not okay. Has any one programmed a Go Flight Push Button panel for use with the PIC 767 Auto Pilot.The standard configuration that Go Flight generates doesn't seem to function with the PIC 767 Auto Pilot.Do I need to do something special to get it to work? Every aircraft that I have works fine except the ones with the PIC panel. Before I can get ATC sound I must select another aircraft that does not have the PIC panel, then when the ATC sound comes on i.e.(ATIS), then go back and reselect my aircraft with the PIC panel. I only have this problem with 767 PIC! This is my PC configuration:Win Me, 512 ram, SB Audigy, Pent4 2.2ghz, Geforce4 Ti4600, directx 8.1bDoes anyone know what is causing this problem with the PIC panel?Could it be my OS? I am thinking about getting XP.
