Does anyone have the problem of not hearing the marker sounds (OM, MM, IM). Or does the 767 not have these sounds? I checked my settings, and everything looks normal.ThanksBryan

Hi All, Completed the PIC/POSKY merge and I'm havivg some problems. The flap settings are off, skips the 5 degree mark, and the ILS is sloppy along with hard landings. I've been a simmer and PIC 767 flyer for some time now and I feel there is something wrong with the cfg setup. Any help is appreciated.Regards [email protected]

Hello all, I was curious if anyone could fill me in on how to set up my cold and dark cockpit situation. In real life, when the Capt/FO enter the cockpit, what gauges, switches, etc, if any are "on"? I've got the excellent Boeing 757/767 Simulator and Checkride procedures manual written by Capt Mike Ray. I basically want to start up a situation and have the cockpit set up as it would be to a real flight crew coming in for the turnaround. The cockpit preparation situation PIC767 included isn't a "cold and dark" one. It'd be easy enough to set up if I knew that everything was off. I experience short hickups with the pic panel. They show up regulary with a spacing of 30/60 sec. Quite annoying. Have tried the posky merger version and the default pic vers. Same result. Happens both on and off line. I got good framerates so it's not a hardware issue. Anyone seen this and maybe know a workaround?

Hi guys, I'm back. hehe. I've got a question regarding the climb rates on the 767PIC/POSKY merge. I did the merge myself, and did not download the one available in avsim. (I did it before I learned that one was available on the internet) Anyway, I'm getting climb rates of 500fpm in the later part of the climb at around FL240 and above. I also noticed that the 767 cruises at a pitch of 3.5-4 degrees, and approaches in the same attitude - Are these normal? Hi there.This is a quick one since I just took off for EKCH - KSEA. When I am flying this route I need to step climb - but not the ICAO way. This because I need to stepclimb in equal altitudes (ex. 280, 300, 320) due to flying westbound. Hmm what is it then that I have to write in FMC instead of ICAO??Really need the answer since I am now at FL220 and climbing.Blue SkiesMichael

I have just spent hours reading all the manuals trying to get into the realism of this wonderful sim. But my aim was to use it with Captain Speaking 2002.Well my point is if you are going to be spoon fed direction vectors, altitude limits, speed limits by ATC (that are not predictable) what's the point of programming the route from departure to destination? You are not going to use it. You are going to input headings and altitude and speed limits into the MPC. Does anyone know how real pilots respond to ATC instructions all the time using the FMC? I just don't see where full programming of the route can be compatible with ATC instructions?Maybe I am missing something so m…

I would like to know if there is anything published on theForce feedbackstick and 767PIC because trying to taxi and holdingonto the stick proper throws me all over the place.On the runway it becomes a very big problem when pulling the stickinto rotation.Please anybody!

Hi, I was wondering what kind of frame rates everyone has been getting with FS2002 and 767 PIC? I'm considering purchasing it, but am a little hesitant due to frame rates. It took me ages to create my first flightplan in 767 PIC's FMC. Then it turned out not to be from the ACTIVE runway. How can one EASILY change the active runway in FS2002 ?Many thanks, Paul

I recently bought The Ultimate Hong Kong Simulation and I Created the taxiways, tower frequencies and everything to work with is but when I enter the reference airport in the fmc( VHH1 in this case) it tells me that it is not in database, What can I do about this?

Good day, I was wondering if someone has also experienced a similarproblem :After approx 20-30 minutes of using PIC 767 (with & without the Posky merge from Lee ), Fs2002 crashes indicating a problem with the following file : VMCPD01. I have tried to solution this problem butto no avail and I must admit that it's somewhat frustrating. Furthermore, I have re-installed FS2002 and this has had no effect onthe problem. I don't seem to have the problem when "flying" DF737-400but I recently experienced a similar crash when starting with thedefault cessna 172. My whole system crashes and I have to re-start mycomputer...Any help or ideas would be more than welcome !!!…

When performing a VNAV climb to my cruising altitude in FS2002, the VS decreases to arround 1000 fpm in order to keep the 308/.800 climb speed entered into the FMC. This doesn't seem to satisfy the FS2002 ATC, and they tell me to expedite my climb. So I either have to specifiy a lower climb speed, or go to VS mode to keep the ATC from canceling my IFR. Unrealistic. Just wondering how everyone else deals with this problem. Thanks for any responses.-twilky

I noticed yesterday after disengaging the Autopilot, the AT wasn't controlling the throttles. But from previous experience, I don't remember this happening.2. Does the 767PiC for FS2002 have a TCAS?
