Hello Gentlemen,I have a question regarding to runway headings displayed on Wilco767 FMC. Even though I have downloaded and installed the latest AIRAC (0208) and installed some of the airport SID and Stars from, navdata web, I get unrealistic ILS OBS from FMC. Quick example when I select a Star for JFK and look for KJFK ILS RW31L OBS I get the OBS of 301 where it should be 315. I think I am doing something wrong but I can

I just noticed strange FMC behaviour during my long distance trip. I have it programmed with ICAO step climb command, reflected in 'legs' page. MCP ALT is consequently set to target altitude (say, the highest altitude during the trip). The problem is that VNAV would not initiate ascent at appropriate moment, instead it just remains at original 'first altitude segment' altitude. To cut long story short, FMC would not initiate step-climb. When I noticed this very behaviour for extended time I attempted to manually adjust altitude by pressing FLCH to start ascent. It did, indeed reach target step-climb altitude of FL440, but to my amazement it went into ALT HOLD mode with SP…

Do any of chaps know of a good way to amand the ZFW on the 767pic.I know that there is a piece of software called dispatch for 767pic but this does not seem to work with my system (i cant input data to boxes). I think the problem may be that i have windowsXP and office 98. For some reason dispatch does not seem to like that combination. Anyway any help that you can offer will be much apprieciated.

after i install the up-today navdata,i found that there is some runwaycourse difference between the FMC and the REAL FS2002,for example,the heading of 36R of ZBAA is 359 and the FMC tune my NAV1's course to 353 automaticly and this will lead my plane land in the middle of 2 runways.and i found many airport's data is different like that not only ZBAA,how can i deal with this?any suggestions???thx all

Please excuse my lack of knowledge and inability to find anything on previous posts, but would some kind folk tell me which folders I unzip the new navdata to. I have downloaded the all-in-one data for the PIC which contains another four zip files for 'fixes', 'navaids', 'airways' and 'airports'. I can't locate any installation instructions. I have no doubt this will be a simple operation but I would rather be 100% certain of what I'm doing rather than mess something up. Thankyou in anticipation.

Hi All, Can i fly a 757 with the pic 767 panel. If the answer is yes what do i have to do to make it work. I know how to adjust the .cfg files on instruction although i cannot play with them on my own to get the required results. I would be most greatful if you could help? Cheers Dal

Hello, well, I finally fixed my BIG problem with the MSFS2002 pro. now, this is the first time since I got this problem fixed-first flight in 767PIC since I re-stalled- and before I could change views, with the POV HAT switch etc.. but, now I cannot...so, can some one tell me how I can get my throttle knob and my POV HAT switch to work every time... I have to restart the FS and that fixes it.. but, before, not needed...BTW, I do not need the newest FSUIPC<-thats what messed up my computer.. thanks! :-waveBTW- just had the panel make my plane do a nose dive.. this is also a problem, FS must be active at all times or this MAY happen.. please help..http://ftp.avsim.com/dc…

Hey everyone, I gotta question about the sound.cfg file in the 767PIC sound folder, I was looking through it to find out why the reverse thrust sound wasn't working, I found a ; just before the file name, and I deleted it, it fixed the problem. But I found a whole bunch of other lines in the sound.cfg that had the same ; before it, I deleted them all and got more sounds, Were those ; put there for a reason? (example below)thanks,

Does moving map on the FMC display where on the map you will reach the altitude you descending to. For example If I'm at FL 350 and set my altitude for FL 240 and start to descend at 2000 FPM doing Mach 0.76 will the map mark the location where I should reach FL240. This was a handy feature for making crossing restrictions that was available on a predecessor to PIC.Thanks ... Rich

Gentlemen,after a few reports here in the forum and in my mailbox, i have uploaded a new airport-file. The AIO (all in one) file was updated too. The problem was that i convert the runways with an old script-file of my conversion-module and all others with the new one. Somtimes when I am flying the panel at 4x it jerks up and down quite abit..till it starts loosing and gaining altitude. I know its not realistic...but I still like to speed up the "pond" portion of the flight. Any Ideas?http://www.avsim.com/posky/images/banners/gary_ban.gif

recently my pic panel have a very strange phenomenon,some times all the lights of the "WARNING and CAUTION ANNUNCIATORs" illuminate for a short time and at the same time the elapsed time switch of the clock continuously moved from "RUN" to "RESET" automaticaly.when this phenomenon happens,the frame rate drop to only 4-5fps.....why this happen?????thx for some comments......

Hi, when flying at cruise speeds like M.78 I get around 98% of N1 which is unreal, commonly when flying at M.80 the N1 should be around 88% of N1.I use a POSKY aircraft and it is correctly mergerd, actually it has the same .cfg file of the original PIC for a better performance.The TAT goes at around -5

Hi all, I have recently just learned how to fly the PIC and everything is going great in my flight, I turn for the final apporach (the LNAV and VNAV) are off with the LOC or APP on, then when I hit the MM or the OM the plane suddenly banks severly up or down. This has happened to me while on the ILS at YYZ and KCH. Most of the time I managed to recover but it is annoying.I am not using a joystick, so I have no clue as to what is causing this.Any comments or suggestions would be great.Thanks in advance,Mike L

My computer at home fried a week or two ago. I have some new parts at home now and I hope to rebuild it this weekend. I actually put the mainboard, AMD processor (new for me) in to the new case, attached all of the doohickies and thingamadoobers, added the add-on cards, said my prayers and tried to start it... nothing. So now I have to talk to the computer store about those forementioned doohickies and thingamadoobers and why they are not powering my expensive new mainboard and processor.
